uestions quickly and professionally. A month before our wedding date , Hy met with us to go over day of details and was really receptive to our requests. He gave us some great advice and made us feel at-ease leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding, Hy showed up right on time and was very good at managing guests for pictures. He captured all of our special moments and made sure that we were posed correctly. Hy made it fun and most importantly - feel natural. To top it all off we received our edited photos 24 hours (yes your read that right!) after our wedding. All the photos are located on a drive that we can download in any size. It was a joy working with My Emma Photography and we will cherish our wedding photos forever. Anyone looking for a high quality, professional wedding photographer- look no further!!

Hy did my bridal portraits at the McNay museum and was completely accommodating to the fact that we had to reschedule last minute due to a Texas ice storm. The next weekend the weather was gorgeous and even though we had to do it midday, he managed to get so many gorgeous shots! Lisa let me know my makeup artist may want to add more color for the wedding day. He was great at getting me to relax and chat with me throughout the day, so when wedding day came I was ready to go and not nervous at all in front of the camera. Hy and Lisa delivered gorgeous photos and we especially love our first look photos - so sweet! If you need a photographer who is calm and a 'good coach', pick Hy. Thank you both!

at all when I had to postpone and rebook due to COVID. They both made sure to get all the important shots and the quality of the photos is top tier. I had a church wedding and an indoor reception, so there were not many photo opportunities within nature, but Hy and Lisa scoped out a nearby area beforehand for us to visit with gorgeous trees and scenery in the background once our ceremony ended. They truly went the extra mile and I could not be more satisfied. Book them, you will not regret it!!

ime. We had finished pictures a week after the wedding which was amazing! The only thing I wish I would have done is have a more specific list of pictures I wanted taken. I would have liked to have gotten pictures with more people who attended our wedding but with the day going by so fast and the reception being such a blur, there are a lot of people we missed getting pictures with. I also would have liked to get more pictures around our venue since there are so many beautiful spots around the hotel library, bar, and even our suite. We got a couple good ones though so I can’t really complain. Overall I would recommend working with My Emma Photography.

Hy was able to capture our day better than I could have imagined. I stumbled into Hy's photography website online via the knot and reached out to him in December 2020. His response was very prompt, and he personally called my cell to discuss his availability and quotes. I was impressed by his quick response and continued responsiveness throughout our correspondence. On the day of the wedding he worked extremely hard to capture all possible angles and viewpoints of the bride/ groom, bridal party, guests, church, and reception. I had numerous guests come up to me and comment on how much our photographer was working to get complete coverage of the day. Hy was an EXCELLENT communicator and worked very well with my husband and I on staging different shots of the two of us in different locations. We were so thankful for his recommendation of heading to a spot on the riverwalk, which was less crowded in order to get some incredible photos. His ability to use natural light is phenomenal! Hy and his wife also had an insanely quick turn around for delivery of the final pictures, within 3 days we had digital access to all of his work from our big day!! So many of my friends had to wait weeks if not a month before their photos were ready. I feel so LUCKY to have found Hy and I love the work he did for us! We will continue to cherish the high quality of his photographs for years to come. My Emma Photography is a true gem, I will continue to recommend Hy again and again.

Even though I was only able to show a few photos of inspiration to Hy he knew what I wanted out of the session. He was enthusiastic about our session as well as his passion for photography.
