Could not have asked for a better baker. Everything was easy, tasted great, and was better than we hoped. Even helping with last minute details for toppers and figurines on the cake on the day of. (Also may be the best cake I have ever tasted)

My husband and I used My Friend's Bakery to provide dessert for our October 2025 wedding. From the start, Lara was so professional and helpful! We had the best time during our tasting and it was lovely to see her bakery prior to our wedding and to sample our wedding treats. From the beginning we knew we wanted to have a mini dessert tasting selection since my husband and I aren't huge cake people. However, having said that, we had Lara make us a small cake for cutting and it was hands down the best cake we ever had and we so wish we had more of it, and this is coming from people who never choose cake on their birthdays!!!! Besides that, all of our mini desserts were absolutely delicious, delivered on time and were set up wonderfully! It was so easy to rent the stands from Lara and then return them the next day!
I can't hesitate to recommend My Friend's Bakery enough and I will be craving the fresh fruit custard tart and the mini cheescakes forever!

We couldn't stop thinking about how delicious EVERY single thing we tried of hers was and we knew when we drove away from the taste testing that she was the one we would end up booking with - there really was no competition! We would drive 2 hours from home to get desserts from her any day and that is seriously telling coming from a family who loves desserts! When we first met with Lara, we had very specific ideas in mind. We went in thinking we only wanted a dessert bar but when we saw and tasted her amazing cakes we instantly changed our minds. Our 3 tier birch cake was literally the best looking and most delicious wedding cake I have ever had. We also had a dessert bar that consisted of 5 different (all equally delicious) mini treats. We had cream puffs, chocolate cream pies, apple cider donuts, blueberry and lemon curd tarts, and cheesecake bites.
Not only is Lara amazing at making desserts but she is also amazing at responding in a very timely manor. I was a very indecisive bride went back and forth on what I wanted and emailed Lara several times. Each time she responded very quickly and told me I had up until 2 weeks before the wedding to make my final decision. That right there was a main reason why she is a brides dream vendor. I have no complaints about My Friends Bakery and I HIGHLY recommend Lara.
