Mary is Amazing! She was on time, professional, kind and made me feel very comfortable. I gave Mary a general idea of what I wanted and she gave me much more! My hair and makeup lasted all day and well into the wee hours without a single touch up! Makeup movement is my new go to and I highly recommend to anyone needing professional service in the future. Mary will take all the time needed to make you feel beautiful and look perfect. I was so pleased with my makeup and it didn’t look over done. Thank you for making me look perfect on my wedding Mary!

Bella (makeup) and Amanda (hair) were amazing. They were both so sweet and enjoyable to talk to, and most importantly, they achieved my vision for my hair and makeup! They did beautiful work for my mom and bridal party, as well! I’m very glad I did a trial - I didn’t really know how to articulate what I wanted, so they did their best at the trial. I realized it was too much for me, so we talked about it on the wedding day, and they perfectly executed what I wanted. I received compliments all night about my hair and makeup!

Mary & her team are absolutely incredible at what they do! I am so so glad I snagged them before they booked up! They did a trial run for both my mom & me, which was super helpful. I felt that they listened to my thoughts & opinions, and they took that into consideration when creating my look. Mary did my makeup on the wedding day and she was so patient as this nervous bride was asking way too many questions. Even in a time crunch, she still did an outstanding job & listened to my thoughts. I highly recommend Mary & her team!

I own Soiree du Vin - Austin Polo Group. I am a wedding / event designer. We recently retained Mary Stone, the owner of “My Makeup Movement” to do hair and makeup for 16 women, in preparation for a wedding the week before Thanksgiving. Mary and her entourage showed up and had the entire job complete within just a few hours. After countless trial runs through other makeup artists, Mary came in and saved the day. Not only did she accommodate us on short notice, she put a large army of artists together, and the end result was purely genius, and nothing short of flawless work, bar none! She will, from here out, be my #1 go-to artist for hair and makeup. Simply breathtaking!!!!!! BTW: her eyelashes and technique are her specialty.....VERY HIGH END!!!!!

One word...Amazing! They did a fabulous job! I couldn’t of had a better team on my big day! They showed up on time, made it fun, made us beautiful, makeup lasted ALL night...even until the morning, my hair curls and braid lasted all through the night! Mary was always responsive through all changes made, always answered me, was organized, neat, all 7 girls loved them!!! Even now they are talking about them and how awesome and well worth every penny! I would never use any other company for hair and makeup they will be my go to!!Amanda did so great on my hair, Mother’s, and bridesmaid. She was also quick and made the timeline, they stayed on track and on time with all the services which is super important on wedding day! Bella assisted Mary with some of the girls makeup and she did just as an amazing job! Thank you for really making our day special! We enjoyed and loved having them in the suite with us!

The team is amazing and very professional! I trusted them to do my makeup and hair for my wedding day and it lasted ALL DAY LONG! I got many compliments on my makeup! I totally recommend them 100%!

I'll make this as short as I can; the team that worked on my bridesmaids and I was unprofessional, rude, and actually not very good the day of. Our makeup and hairstyles were fairly easy but they did a terrible job. My makeup was gone in 2.5 hrs and my half updo was a mess; I cried (yes that bad). Wouldn't recommend this team one bit! Mary was a sweet, professional team leader but her associates are just not worth contacting again.

Mary and her team were quick to respond to me, they went with the look that I had hoped for, and my makeup and hair was perfectly put together the whole night!

Mary and her team are absolutely fabulous! I have had my hair and makeup done numerous times prior to working with Mary, and as always I am super nervous about the final outcome. I have the worst luck when getting my hair and makeup done...I always show a picture of what I want, and somehow it never comes out like the picture I showed. I'm always second guessing myself, and have to convince myself that whatever hair and makeup is done is what I will settle with. I didn't want to have this hanging over my head on my wedding day; so I was really nervous about the choosing the right team for my hair and makeup. I had Mary and her team come out for a trial run, and then had them come out for the day of my wedding. I personally worked with Mary for makeup, and Erica for hair. I really enjoyed watching Mary work on each one of us as if she was painting a blank canvas. If she wasn't the one who did make up on one of my girls, she was the one who did the touch ups. This gave my girls the opportunity to speak up if they wanted to add more color, or tweak something. Her work, and her professionalism is truly spectacular...and Erica is incredibly talented with hair! I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and it came out exactly as the picture!! All this done without a mirror! I highly recommend My Makeup Movement to anyone in search of looking spectacular on their wedding day :)

LOVE this group of ladies! They're very professional and in tune with latest styles and trends. I've been a bridesmaid in so many weddings and had my hair and make up every time. I have to say I've never been more satisfied with my makeup. It was very natural but I didn't look washed out and it lasted all day and night! Woo! My hair is an animal of it's own and they did a great job handling that. :) Everyone in the wedding party looked beautiful and we couldn't have been more satisfied! <3

You can imagine the stress when the make-up artist that I had hired (from another company) to do my wedding make-up was a no show. Thankfully, Mary swooped in to save the day, and I don't know what we would have done without her! Not only did Mary's work far surpass the other artist's, but she was also such a joy to talk with throughout the process. The make-up stayed on all day and looked amazing! I would definitely recommend My Makeup Movement to all brides out there!

The ladies with Makeup Movement were beyond amazing. They did hair and makeup for my recent wedding. Mary was super easy to get in touch with and communicate with throughout the planning process. They showed up on time and went right to work. My bridesmaids and I had pictures of ideas and they used our ideas to make a unique look just for us. My groom was stunned when he saw me for our first look. But even more of a surprise, my photographer took a shot of me outside under an old oak tree and showed it to me. It brought tears to my eyes. I did not know I could look and feel so beautiful. Thank you Mary and Team! They brought out the best features in each person in my bridal party. They listened to us and made everyone so comfortable. Even my mom that was very nervous to have professional hair and makeup done.

Mary and her team are absolutely wonderful! I loved having her and her team member do hair for my bridal party. They were soooo nice and provided an overall great experience with AWESOME hair for the day that lasted the entire night!!

Mary and Erica did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits. They did an amazing job! They were on time and did an amazing job! My makeup and hair stayed flawless through all my outdoor pictures. I showed them pictured of what I wanted and they were able to look at them and make my hair and makeup look even better than the pictures! They were both very nice and personable. I even asked them to come do my hair and makeup for a friends wedding. They also did the brides and two other bridesmaids! Everyone loved them! I would definitely use them again! I love makeup movement!!

Mary and her team did a fantastic job! They arrived at the venue on time, fully equipped and best of all they were flexible. Originally we were going to have 6 bridesmaids and my mom's hair done and then my (bride) makeup and hair. As Mary predicted, after getting their hair done, several ladies also wanted their make-up done and this was no problem for Mary and her team, even with it being last minute. The ladies were stunning! Their hair and makeup held up all evening, they were all very happy. As for my hair, I didn't have time to do a trial hair run so the day of the wedding I was just going to show Mary a picture of something similar to what I wanted. Unfortunately internet reception was horrible at the venue and I couldn't bring up a picture so I vaguely described what I wanted and left the rest in the stylists hands. I was tickled pink with the result! I loved my hair!! My hair is very fine and doesn't hold style well so I was worried about it falling half way through the night but my updo stayed in place and looked fabulous all evening, even after hours of dancing. For make-up I didn't want to be so done-up that I looked like a different person. Mary made me look like a much prettier version of myself. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience.

Mary is absolutely fabulous. She's is an amazing artist, I use her for other events not just my engagement pics and bridal trial. I will continue, to use her for all my other events.

They did an amazing job on my hair and makeup! I did have to pay for 3 girls to come out and one of them did two girls makeup and then sat there the whole time. They don't specialize in little girls, they had to do my 4yr old flower girls hair twice and both times it looked horrible and the curls and braid fell before she made it down the aisle. They took a long time to do everyone's hair but we did look great!

Mary and Erica are amazing and I absolutely adored them! They did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding and Bridal shower. I would use them over and over again! Thank you both so much for making my wedding day. :)

Mary and her team did a fantastic job on all my bridesmaids, my mother, and me! From the initial trial they are very professional and friendly and have a vast knowledge on color palettes and hair styles. I am so happy I chose Mary because she made me and everyone else feel very comfortable and also very glamorous. Their timing is impeccable and all of their products are HD quality meaning the pictures are AWESOME!

I booked Mary and her team about a month before the wedding. Luckily for me she was still available! She did my an amazing, amazing, AMAZING job with our hair and makeup. I was so nervous about putting that much makeup on because I don't wear any at all. She made me feel at ease and when i looked in the mirror... DAAAMN!! I looked great! My bridesmaids looked phenominal too!! You will not regret booking Mary for your next wedding. She is so professional, She was right on time (even though we were late) and she is just a great person to know! Thanks Mary!!

The week before my wedding I still didn't have a makeup artist and was scrambling to find someone that I trusted to give me the look I wanted. After looking at Mary's portfolio and speaking with her over the phone, I knew she was perfect for my wedding. She really listened to the details about the look I was going for, and never tried to make it style - it was always about what me, the bride, wanted! Mary showed up on my wedding day ready to beautify & she was an absolute delight to have in my bridal suite. My makeup looked flawless and natural (just the way I wanted it), and I also have a new found addiction to false eyelashes thanks to the oh-so-natural style that she used on me! I have been married for a little over a month now, and have since contacted Mary again for more beautiful makeup & hair! I definitely recommend her wonderful services to anyone wishing to have a personalized experience with a lovely and talented young woman by your side on the most important day ever!

I was so lucky to schedule Mary and her team for my wedding day! Usually when I get my hair and make up done it never turns out how I wanted/imaged .... NOT the case with this amazing team! I was beyond happy with how I looked on my big day. To this day my parents still call my mom (who also got her hair and make up done) and my look "so Hollywood". Seriously if you can schedule Mary .... DO IT! It was one of the best decisions I made.

Mary and her team are the best! She will go above and beyond to get exactly what you want. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, and the big day. Each time she took her time and made sure everything was perfect. The day of the wedding I had over 25 people getting hair and makeup done and she and her team handled it without a problem. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. And I loved mine! I am extremely picky with both hair and makeup and Mary listened to me every step of the way to make sure I got what I wanted. She was a huge part of the wedding. I talked and txt her almost every week. You will not be disappointed.

Mary and her team at Makeup Movement are AMAZING!! The girls are pros at turning your natural beauty into something that will photograph beautifully on your wedding day! Mary did an AMAZING job on my triple stacked eye lashes, i just LOVED them!! You do not have to have tripled stacked I just wanted them! This was probably one of the BEST make up experiences I have had in my life!! Makeup Movement did my make up for my Bridal portrait and my wedding day, both were all day events and my make up never not looked perfect!!
