Located on Main Street in Williamstown, KY, is My Old Kentucky Barn, a historic tobacco barn turned wedding venue. Situated on over 50 acres, this rustic setting offers stunning and peaceful surroundings for couples to celebrate their love. While this location offers a serene atmosphere, it is also conveniently close to the urban centers of Georgetown, Cincinnati, and Lexington.
My Old Kentucky Barn, originally built in the 1800s, has a history spanning over 180 years. John Sebree is the current and only the fourth owner of the property. He is particularly interested in the setting's history and is excited to help others enjoy the barn just as much as he does. He is confident that couples and their loved ones will be able to create lasting memories on the property. Beyond weddings, the barn makes a great setting for birthday parties, family gatherings, and other celebrations.
While the outside of My Old Kentucky Barn looks contemporary and fresh, the interior is where the building's original charm shines. When you step inside, you will be surrounded by wood accents that create a warm and inviting ambiance. The space offers two dressing rooms, perfect for you and your wedding party to prepare for the day. The main dining area offers a versatile, open space, perfect for dining and dancing with your loved ones. Here, a charming bar is designed to keep the drinks flowing in a stylish setting. Additionally, the mezzanine space offers an escape from the lively main area. Beyond the main barn, this venue offers an expansive outdoor lawn where you can enjoy an open-air ceremony or reception.

John and Amy are such a delight to work with in 2020 it is refreshing to do business with such honest and kind people. Back in April/May of this year my fiancé and I were excited t...
o find this beautiful barn for our wedding in 2021.
Amy was more than accommodating having our family stop by last minute to look at the venue sometime in the early spring. Then again when I was in KY unexpectedly following the untimely death of my father in June - they once again accommodated a last minute tour for my fiance and I.
The venue is absolutely beautiful and all the small details really make the place between the built in bar, his/her suites, and the historical word work - wow.
Of course COVID has continued to limit the ability to have large gatherings - taking into consideration a lot of the travel restrictions (we are military affiliated and overseas) - we had to cancel our reservation for the spring of 2021.
Without any hesitation - Amy was on top of it responding to emails and organizing a refund. I truly appreciate the kindness of the employees/owners and we will absolutely keep them in mind if and when gathering/travel restrictions are lifted. Seriously - if you are thinking about renting the barn - I couldn't recommend better folks to work with.
