I found Ms (soon to be Mrs.!) Rachel on Knot so I will rate her here. Looking for a photographer was one of the more stressful parts of putting our wedding together because this wa...
s an important part but I didn’t want to go broke to get amazing pictures; but we also didn’t want to have ‘middle school dance’ pictures—anyone else there?? After much scouring of reviews & stalking people’s instagrams, I had a call date with Rachel & was so happy to feel like I was talking to a regular person that I would hang out with! We also felt lucky when she happen to be coming to our home state (we were doing an out of state wedding) and was willing to spend some of her personal time to capture ‘engagement’ photos. It was so special for us to have pictures here and I couldn’t have been happier with how things turned out for us. She also sent me a recommendation for a stylist & She was also a amazing ‘find’! Truly felt like I just stumbled on a wonderful person & perfect fit for our wedding! Thank you Rachel!
My husband and I had the pleasure of having Rachel photograph our wedding last month. From the very first contact we had with her, we knew we had really lucked out finding someone ...
so energetic, fun and upbeat. Because we had already had our engagement photos taken from another photographer, Rachel went out of her way to make sure she got to know us as a couple before our big day. On our wedding day, she fit seamlessly into the day, documenting every special moment without being intrusive or overbearing. She captured the perfect moments we had no idea we'd want to remember after the wedding. Working in the industry myself, I can confidently recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Her work is beautiful and she was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning.

. On the day of, things were a little chaotic when she arrived, but she was able to get pictures of getting ready and details like decor and attire with very little interference into the activities going on! She had great energy and was super enthusiastic the whole night! She even sent a few photos to take a look at when she got home! ALL of our photos were ready by 9/24 and look amazing! I actually got a little bit misty eyed looking through several of them with the beautiful moments she was able to capture. If you're considering working with Rachel, 100% go for it because she's the best photographer I've ever worked with!!

Rachel McGiboney is all about trying to get what you want. She was my second shooter. She doesn't just take pictures, she records emotions. She pulls out the happiness, shares the ...
love, and shows the beauty in everyone she works with. I didn't have to coach her on what to do. She is wonderful to work with.
