knew we had to go with her. We first did our engagement photos, and she really helped us be comfortable ('cause who casually does photo shoots on the regular? We definitely don't.) Well, we LOVED our engagement photos, and we were really excited about our wedding photos to come. My husband and I had also made a big decision not to have a videographer for our wedding, so we relied a lot on the photos to capture our story that day. And Megan absolutely went above and beyond to capture all of our special moments that day. Through our photos, we're reliving our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. oyed candid moments as much as we did. We first hired Megan for our engagement shoot in June 2018, and working with her and Greg was so fun! They made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to be our natural selves. The photos turned out everything we wanted. Our wedding was in Maui and we were trying to decide if we should hire a local photographer in Maui who knew the area, but as soon as we saw the engagement photos, we knew Megan was coming to Maui with us. And of course, the wedding photos turned out gorgeous, with romantics suited for a magazine, to candids that really captured the emotions of our wedding day. We're so grateful we can relive the emotions of our wedding day through these photos! Thank you so much, Megan!

ay to be captured. We did an engagement shoot with Megan exactly a year before our wedding. Megan was able to pick a location for the shoot that had a ton of variety... we even did a bit of climbing! The shoot was exhausting, but so much fun! We had both Megan and Greg shoot our wedding. A hurricane almost changed all of our plans, but Megan was quick to communicate with us the week leading up to our wedding and ensured we would have a backup photographer if she was not able to make the trip to us (we are in VA). In the end, the hurricane missed us and all ended up going as originally planned! My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding photos turned out. There are so many candid moments that were captured and even our "posed" photos do not feel forced. Megan and Greg did an amazing job of capturing our day and we are so thankful that we will be able to look back and relive our wedding over and over again!

palm fronds galore and Megan’s design and eye for pairings just completely nailed whet we were going for. Her flowers transformed our venue and my bridal bouquet was incredible! She’s just such an incredible artist and we are so, so lucky that she was our florist! We could not have imagined more perfect florals - hire My Sun and Stars Flower Co immediately!

Megan and Greg handled our awkwardness with such ease. They're great at making you feel comfortable and providing direction. It was also really important to us that none of our photos seem too forced or formal...and I can confidently tell you not ONE of our photos has that vibe. The number one comment we consistently get from our loved ones is how these pictures are "so us" and "natural". My husband was also really worried about having a camera following us and potentially ruining our ability to enjoy the day. We (and so many of our guests) were so impressed by how skillfully Megan and Greg were able to navigate the crowd-they just kind of melted in the background but were somehow able to capture all the special intimate moments we missed. They also didn't pull us away too much from the day to take photos and LET US ENJOY THE DAY. It's creepy how effectively and quickly they take photos in such a short amount of time. And, because I can't go on forever, I will forever be grateful to Megan for stepping in where my coordinator didn't. She was able to effectively manage the stressors of the day and really did a lot of behind the scenes work in coordinating things and making sure I wasn't bothered. I honestly think I would've had a mental breakdown if it wasn't for her calm and effective approach to the day. We are SO grateful for My Sun and Stars and we will without a doubt use them again and again in the future.

Megan and her team transformed our arbor for our ceremony, the reception entryway and main area into pure magic. Also, my bouquet!!! red photos. A friend of mine had worked a wedding with My Sun and Stars Co. and suggested I check them out. As soon as I read their website and saw samples of their work, I was sold. The photos I saw were realistic, bright and the people in them seemed to be relaxed and genuinely happy. I filled out an online questionnaire & they got back to me within just a few hours saying the date was all clear for them and that they'd be happy to be our photographer. When we first met Megan of My Sun and Stars Co., we instantly fell in love with her. She was seriously like a friend we had known our entire lives. She engaged with us, made us laugh, instructed our awkward selves with how to stand, all that good stuff. Every interaction we've had whether it be e-mail, text, phone calls or in person has been so easy. There were aspects of photos (engagement & wedding) where I would be more opinionated about and she was so willing to be flexible and please my fiance and I. On the flip side, there were aspects where I felt like I needed more guidance and help with and she totally took charge. Throughout our wedding day, she was so incredibly calm and easy to be around. Driving away from our wedding, my husband and I were reflecting on how the day went, etc. and we definitely think My Sun and Stars Co. was the MVP of the entire event. We received our photos so quickly and were that much more impressed by My Sun and Stars Co. They are absolutely perfect. They shot everything that we had wanted and more. One of my favorite aspects about the photos is that they were able to capture so many things that we didn't see, including the expressions of all of our friends and family throughout the day. We will always treasure these photos and are so incredibly thankful for My Sun and Stars Co for their photography skills and friendship gained!

d shape---just exactly the way I pictured in my head! She is so sweet she helped us find a spot to do the ceremony, took us there and stayed with us till the end. She even made my puppy a crown of leaves and flowers. And she's always smiling! It's so refreshing to turn to her while she was also watching our puppy when no one else can. She did so much more than what she's been paid for! It was just the loveliest day and Megan was a big part of it! My husband and I love her and her work!
