Congratulations on your engagement! To get to know me a little better let me introduce myself, my name is Samantha McCann, I am the owner of My Sun, My Moon Photography and a freelance photographer/artist. I am an art loving, photography obsessed, book addicted, caffeine fueled, devout mother and nerd extremist. I love to laugh, sometimes inappropriately, but I also take my job very seriously and strive to make my costumers walk away feeling like the portraits themselves were a great memory. My goal is to capture the story of your day while I'm with you, to get your real personalities to shine. Believe it or not most families or couples I have had the pleasure of photographing start by telling me they're awkward in pictures, my galleries speak for themselves at how I can help put you at ease and get your natural beauty to shine. I love to show people the beauty in their everyday moments, to help them see the world the way I do, full of whimsy. I shoot in a way where we will joke around, play, talk, and feel all the feelings; in other words the real important things. I am professional, but yet still friendly enough with a dash of southern charm to help you ease your nerves, even if it's by getting you to laugh at/with me. In other words I am not a stuffy artist, and I strive to and honestly can't help feeling like a old friend by the end of most of my sessions or weddings. I want your real, raw beautifully imperfect moments. I want to tell your unique story. se they sent us multiple. We noticed only after getting very concerned when we are 5+ months after our wedding without our images back yet. The contract that we signed said it would take 4 months to get our images back after our wedding date and at some point during our planning process we were also sent another one by them that said it would take 6. But that one was never signed by us! We are now closely approaching 6 months after our wedding with only our sneak peak images, we figured we will give them until the 6 month mark before taking further action but have to admit we are conceded about the situation because despite us reaching out for a timeframe of when we will receive our images they have not responded after multiple emails. To say we are concerned is an understatement actually... and we hope despite the signed contract saying 4 months maybe they were mistaken thinking we signed the 6 month one instead. Again, they take beautiful pictures but expect to WAIT for your images 6 months. In my opinion there are other photographers in the area that can get your images to you much quicker, great quality, and equal price if you look around.

This duo sees things in details and surroundings that others don't, and the results in the images are breathtaking. If you just trust them and their process the results will be more than you ever envisioned. We couldn't be happier with our photos and would recommend them to anyone. Their use of natural light, or even creating light, is one of my favorite things about their work.
