ad no idea what we wanted to do for our ceremony and Melanie sent us a bunch of script examples to help us build a personalized script. She also had us answer Three Questions about each other that she incorporated into our ceremony, making it feel extra special. A lot of our guests even asked if we knew her because her ceremony felt very personalized. If you need an officiant in the Charleston area you should definitely reach out the Melanie!
Melanie was awesome! She was so sweet and made sure to cater the ceremony script to exactly how we wanted. I had several guests come up to me afterwards and talk about how they lov...
ed the ceremony and the surprise personal touch she added to it. As many of our guests were from out of town, they said they felt like in the ceremony they got to know us better as a couple. Would highly recommend her.
Melanie was so gracious and professional in agreeing to marry us with only six days notice as we didn't want the drudgery of a court ceremony, but as seasoned adults, we wanted sti...
ll wanted a private but memorable wedding for our memories. Melanie provided that experience. She engaged my fiancee' and I from the beginning, explaining the process and fees, and encouraged our participation in crafting our vows et al. She arrived on time and was very courteous and patient in officiating our wedding. By the time we were declared that we were "husband and wife", it felt as if a friend had done us a great favor. I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie's services as an affordable and delightfully efficient officiant who will make that special day...special!

marriage success speech that she pulled us aside for. You can tell Melanie really cares about her brides and grooms- she even takes pictures of the big day! Melanie prides herself in making the ceremony personal (just ask her about the three questions). Thank you for your hard work Melanie!

hings unrelated to the wedding..she's just that easy to talk to and makes you feel like a friend.
That is exactly how she handled the ceremony as well; professional yet relaxed.
One of my favorite moments of the day was after the vows were done and papers signed she pulled us aside and gave us her "90 seconds to a successful marriage speech" and it make me cry! She is so thoughtful and helps so much with nerves.
Such a pleasure to work with!
