We could not have asked for a better photographer for our July 2022 wedding!! Mychelle has been absolutely fabulous from the get go. She is so responsive, professional, and kind, and she has always gone the extra mile to make us feel special and encouraged. She has great ideas for natural, effortless looking photos, even for two people who are not super comfortable in front of the camera :) We received so many compliments from family and friends at the wedding about how wonderful she was. We couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out!! If you are looking for a photographer, we highly recommend Mychelle!

Really you can't go wrong with Mychelle. She's great at her job, the photos she captures and the moments too are all so high quality and beautiful. She photographed me and my husband for our wedding & just working with her I can tell you she busts her butt to make sure you get exactly what you ask for with a cherry on top! Also, her personality is incredible. It's important to choose a good photographer for the day of to capture and care about the details and aesthetics and creativity but its really important to have a team that is also kind with a good attitude, orderly, sensitive to your needs, and present. If you are reading this, just book Mychelle you won’t regret it. From the very beginning, she was so genuine, positive, and helpful. Her positive energy is contagious and thats exactly what you want around you on your day. I substituted the engagement session that was included in our package for a bridal session. Let me say every bride needs to do bridal session. It’s the perfect time to meet your photographer, see what you like and don’t like about your dress/accessories, and just have fun!!! For our wedding day, everything was so organized and went smoothly. Also, my husband and I are not the most comfortable people in front of a camera and she made it so easy. She gave me all the confidence. She was constantly hyping us up but checking in to make sure we were good. The perfect balance ! Then Mychelle and her team went above and beyond their job duties that day. They took the initiate to help with various things and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Oh and don’t even get me started on the pictures. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!! She is so talented. You can’t go wrong with Mychelle!!

There are not enough positive things I can say about Mychelle. From the very beginning, she was so helpful when it came to the photography details of our wedding. She was quick to respond to my emails and had all the information I could’ve asked for. I was also able to substitute our engagement photo session that was included in our package to a boudoir session. I will say that I am so glad that I did my boudoir session with Mychelle. It gave us the opportunity to get to know each other, and by the end of it, I knew that I could trust her completely to capture the memories of our wedding. Mychelle did a wonderful job of creating the photography timeline and made sure to include all the special moments that my husband and I wanted for our special day. On the day of the wedding, Mychelle and the second photographer, did not hesitate to go right to work. I know that they worked so hard to keep to the photo timeline and I can’t wait to get our photos back! Based on the sneak peek photos, the style is fabulous and exactly what we were looking for! I was so impressed with Mychelle and her team and would recommend her to any bride!

Mychelle and her team made me feel like the most beautiful bride as well as made sure everything was captured and turned out beautifully. She is exceptionally good at rolling with the punches as nothing really goes as planned during a wedding. She really encouraged us to break out of our shells as I tend to be a little awkward. She is definitely everything I could’ve hoped for in a professional photographer for my wedding and far exceeded my expectations in exuberance for us. Oh my gosh. I could not say better things about Mychelle. We literally couldn't have imagined our wedding day without her. Mychelle was absolutely amazing did more for us that I could have ever imagined. I hired her for our engagement pictures and our wedding and have worked with her a few times before that, so I knew that I would want no one else for the job. Even having worked with her before, she exceeded my expectations! She was extremely punctual and organized, and super flexible if some of the plan had to change. Me and my now husband are usually very shy when we are in the spotlight, but Mychelle and her second photographer made everything and everyone so comfortable and confident when their pictures had to be taken. I have been getting complements about her from my wedding party and guests since the wedding! She made everyone feel so beautiful and handsome no matter what even before the final pictures were complete, and that’s part of what makes her so special. She was very involved the entire wedding and reception, full of energy and dancing with the guests. She was also very fast about sending back our pictures, and the package she sent in the mail with our flash drive was so thoughtful and caring. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same or felt as happy without her, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for a friend or family member’s special day. I feel so lucky to know her and to have had her as our photographer, and will find every excuse to hire her in the future!

Mychelle is a GEM to work with! She truly captures a couples' personality and dynamic in every picture. The pictures were stunning, she's excellent at communicating, and we got our wedding photos back within a month. Mychelle was also so kind and accommodating to the chaos of our wedding day. 100/10 recommend!

Mychelle is truly amazing. Even before we met her, even before we got any pictures back, we immediately loved her because of how warm and easygoing she is. We had an emotionally-difficult situation where our wedding photographer lost all our pictures, and tasked Mychelle with a reshoot a year later. The last thing we wanted was someone who would cause stress and push crazy expenses and fancy vendors on us. Michelle totally got it. She worked around our casual setup and somehow made it look incredible. She coached us into the most flattering poses. Our pictures turned out better than we could ever hope for, and I’m so thankful I found Mychelle.

Mychelle did an amazing job capturing our special day. She was able to capture every single special moment. I was thrilled with the way the photos turned out. The pictures she captured of the sunset, with us on the pier and our reflections in the water, were my absolute fav. She was very helpful and involved from start to finish. She sends a survey to ask about any special photos you would like captured. And even day of, helped keep things on schedule. I really enjoyed working with Mychelle and her team tan and highly recommend.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Mychelle. She is an exceptional photographer and I truly loved working with her. My husband and I are not fans of having our pictures taken but she has a great energy that completely put us at ease. She is very funny and a joy to work with while still maintaining her professionalism. Not to mention, we LOVE our pictures! We worked with her first for our engagement shoot which I highly recommend- not only because you will have gorgeous photos but also to get to know her before your big day. Where do I even start!!! We found Mychelle’s information on our venue’s preferred vendor list. After taking one look at her pictures, we knew we had to have her. And we are beyond thankful that we did. From our engagement session to our big day, everything was absolutely perfect! We were a little nervous about engagement pictures and thought we would feel so awkward, but Mychelle made us feel so comfortable. She made things silly and fun. It felt like we had known her forever. Our shoot was during the summer in Houston. It was as hot as ever, as you could imagine. But Mychelle was awesome! She even held onto a little towel so my husband could blot his face the whole time! 😂 Fast forward to the wedding. I cannot imagine having anyone else there with us. Not only was she an amazing photographer, she was basically my second day of coordinator. I asked her a ton of questions about where to do things, if I had enough lipstick on, and how to cut our cake. She even helped with my bustle. We also had a bit of weather trouble at the wedding, but Mychelle made sure we had fun pictures taken at the end of the night. I truly can’t say enough great things about her. We loved her. Our families loved her. Our bridal party loved her. Book her and photography will be one thing you won’t have to stress about!

Mychelle was an AMAZING photographer and an absolute joy to work with from day one! She captured our story and our wedding so beautifully. Mychelle is the absolute best! First of all, she is professional while still being warm and loving. Mychelle knows how to treat the bride, and put everyone at ease! She is so easy to work with, keeps the mood light and fun, has all of the ideas, and can even make a non-photogenic shoe look great. As soon as we met Mychelle we knew that she was the right person for the job. Anytime we were around her we were joking, laughing, and it felt like we had known her for years. She captures the shots so perfectly, and she can spot a background for a photo a mile away. My wife and I loved her on our wedding day, as she was able to herd our families to get photos (which was like herding cats jacked up on Redbull). She is so professional, always has a smile on her face, and her helpers deserve a shout out too! Mychelle is the most AMAZING photographer! My wedding planner at Notably Yours Events recommended her and I am so thankful that we used her services for our wedding. She is so incredibly sweet and talented. She hyped me up during my bridal portraits and made me feel comfortable and beautiful during our shoot. She also helped my now husband, who doesn't like taking photos, feel comfortable and even had fun during our wedding day portraits! I love her SO much! My husband and I hired Mychelle as our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos in September of 2020 and I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about her! Mychelle took our engagement photos in Dec. 2019 and our wedding photos on Oct. 24, 2020. I have been dying to write a review for her since day one, but I wanted to wait until we had the final product so I didn't miss anything, and I'm so glad I did! All in all, if you are looking for the best wedding photographer ever, HIRE MYCHELLE. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable for our pictures, she worked with us on our timeline to make sure it would work, and she found the BEST spots for our shoots. She took the most beautiful photos of things we knew we wanted, and she took even better photos of things we had no idea we wanted. She's truly an expert. From our first meeting it was clear she was interested in and invested in helping us make the perfect day, and she followed through all the way until now with the absolute perfect product. I seriously cannot recommend her enough, she is incredible and we were so lucky to have her! Also the fact that she is the nicest, sweetest, best person helps!

We absolutely LOVED Mychelle from start to finish. At our initial consultation, she went out of her way to meet us at a location convenient for us. She spent time getting to know our personalities and preferences, and we knew immediately that we wanted her to capture our special day. The price was not cheap, but we had peace of mind knowing we would get back some amazing photos. For our engagements, she traveled about an hour to take pictures on our lake property. She helped us feel at ease during those “awkward” moments that we both are uncomfortable with. She also happily accommodated our photo/prop requests. For my bridals, she drove three hours to my hometown of San Antonio. Again, she made me feel comfortable and spent extra time making sure I got all of the pictures I wanted at Mission San Jose. She truly captured the beauty of the historical mission and made me feel like a princess. At our wedding, she brought two assistants, and they made sure to get all of the pictures we asked for. Although it went by fast, they seemed to get pictures of EVERYTHING! We are so happy with her work and our galleries. She is AMAZINGLY TALENTED and so personable. She would do anything to make her clients happy. We definitely recommend!

I’ve been waiting to leave Mychelle a review since the day my fiancé/now husband met her. Can I say - beyond phenomenal. My fiancé was super apprehensive of the whole photography thing because taking photos isn’t his favorite, but Mychelle had a way of really connecting with Jason and truly truly hit it off with us from the very beginning in April at the beginning of our planning process. She is absolutely contagious and incredibly gifted at her job. I couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our special day and the moments leading up to it. She did an amazing job with our engagement photos and bridal pictures. For the day of the wedding, I can truly say she busted her rear for us and worked super super hard. I had never seen a photographer work so hard before in my life for a solid ten hours. She added an amazing element to our day and was incredibly organized. Knew what to do, took charge of things and went for it. I truly cannot wait to see the end result. By the end of the process I truly felt like I’d gained a new friend. And even my husband says the same thing. He really and truly admired her work and ability to get things done with such a big group of people in our wedding party. I found Mychelle through Instagram and I am SO glad! She is everything you want in a wedding photographer!! From the moment we met, I knew she was a perfect fit for my wedding. Where do I even start? If you're wondering if Mychelle should be your photographer, the answer is YES!!!! Writing is not my strong suit, but I will do my best to describe my experience with having Mychelle as our amazing photographer. She's the only one who we met up with that actually asked about my husband & I. She wanted to get to know us and ask how we met / all the other details. She genuinely cares for every couple she meets and goes above and beyond to make your day absolutely amazing!! We've met up a few times before the wedding and every time she sees one of my friends, she wants to meet them. Who does that?! Mychelle because she is such a kind soul. You know she loves photography and her passion is indescribable. She only books X amount of brides/grooms per year because she wants to give her best to these couples. I have never met anyone else as bubbly, happy, passionate, and genuine as Mychelle. She will truly become your best friend as your big day approaches. She sends you emails on what to expect for engagement pictures and helps you make a schedule for the day of the wedding. She made my husband feel loose and excited for our engagement photos! We had such a great time laughing and taking photos with her. To this day, I still get compliments of our engagement photos. I get excited every time I see her post photos on Instagram!!! She will post sneak peeks right after weddings. She knows her brides and grooms are anxiously waiting and does her best to post on social media. Her work is admirable and beautiful. Fast forward the day of the wedding: she is always on time and ready to go! She made sure my husband and I were comfortable the WHOLE DAY. This woman will catch me zoning out and asks to make sure I'm ok. She will offer me water. She will offer me breaks. She scopes out the entire venue to make sure we get the best shots because she knows how much I love pictures. They even got in the street to make sure we got the best photos with cars zooming past us! Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, not once did we have an issue with communicating. She is prompt with emails and phone calls/texts. You will never get a photographer better than Mychelle!! She is truly a gem and I am so happy that our paths crossed. Mychelle is a very talented and enthusiastic photographer. She went above and beyond for Austin (my husband) and I for our wedding, my bridals and our engagements. She literally stood out in the cold for a couple of hours making sure we got the best lighting and best shots for our engagements. She pays attention to detail and captures not just still shots of people, but emotions. She is dedicated and willing to go above and beyond for her couples. Mychelle is THE BEST! She instantly made us feel comfortable while we were taking our engagement pictures. She made us laugh and have fun, and her work is AMAZING!!! On our wedding day she was very patient amongst all the chaos before the wedding. She is very professional and very personable! Everyone kept coming up to me at our wedding telling me how much they loved her! She was out having fun with us on the dance floor and making everyone laugh (which makes for the best pictures!!). I originally met Mychelle at a friend’s wedding. I fell in love with her work on the spot(hadn’t even seen a picture yet). The way she treated her bride and groom- you could just see her passion pouring out of her. Not only was she amazing to her bride and groom, but to the bridal party, the families around her, and her staff. I was sold! Mychelle took our engagements, my bridals, and our wedding pictures. I was extremely nervous about being in front of a camera; however, Mychelle put me at ease. She was able to capture our love story and personalities through every picture. She is so kindhearted, passionate, sweet, hilarious, and overall just an amazing human being!!!! Mychelle is an incredible artist and professional, truly in a class of her own that exceeds 5 stars. First off, she was responsive, professional, and courteous in all our exchanges. She was also a standout in her ability to adapt to changing circumstances; when I decided to book a last minute boudoir session as a surprise for my husband, Mychelle not only found time to shoot within two weeks, she provided a comfortable location, and made the experience fun and relaxed! Next, Mychelle has a wonderful demeanor that will put anyone at ease. She can be as warm & bubbly or cool & calm as you need (trust me, you’ll need both versions on your wedding day). We chose to do a private elopement ahead of our larger celebration with friends and family; Mychelle kept us together when the nerves & emotions were rising, cheered us on as we headed to the chapel, and became our surrogate family for the day. Both of these points however don’t touch the quality of her finished product. When we received our gallery, my husband and I got on FaceTime to flip through the images together; we both teared up reliving the excitement and emotions of that day, conveyed vividly through her photos. What we loved about her work was how clearly it showed our personalities and the joy we were feeling; it wasn’t just a collection of pretty photos (though she gave us those too!). Hands down, Mychelle was our favorite vendor to work with. Do yourself a favor and hire her. Like yesterday.

I cannot day enough positive things about Mychelle and her team! From the start of the process of meeting her until the final shot the day of, she and her team were flawless. I think Mychelle might have been our favorite part of the wedding! Our engagement shoot was so fun and she made us feel so comfortable even though neither of us are too fond of being in front of a camera. I originally met Mychelle at my best friends wedding that my husband and I were both in back in October 2017. We both fell in love with her and her work! We then saw her again at another friends wedding (March 2018) who had booked her after the first friends wedding. Another one of our friends used her for their wedding (August 2018) after seeing her work in the other weddings. We knew as soon as we got engaged, March 2018, that we wanted Mychelle! Mychelle was so sweet and told us to look into it and make sure we wanted her - she is so humble. After “looking” into others we booked her as soon as we booked the venue and knew the date! Mychelle is extremely passionate about her work and her couples and it shows! I was an “out of town” bride and Mychelle was so accommodating when we had to meet up and for our pictures. She drove over an hour to our family ranch for our engagements where she did a phenomenal job!! I wasn’t able to take my bridals until 11 days before the wedding. When I originally found this out after ordering my dress, which was scheduled to take 5 months to come in, and scheduling my alterations appointment I called Mychelle. I was concerned that we wouldn’t have enough time, but Mychelle reassured me that we had time and she would have at least a few of my bridals back to me so that I could order a few for the reception area. She had ALL of my bridals back to me!! Mychelle captured our wedding day perfectly! She kept us on schedule, managed crazy family photos, and captured all the shots we wanted! Mychelle was even sweet enough to follow up with us a few weeks after to see how our marriage was going. We truly gained a friend in Mychelle and found a gem of a photographer. She is worth EVERY penny!

I majored in English and I honestly don't know enough words to describe how phenomenal Mychelle is. She is kind, honest, caring, committed, punctual, communicative, strong, and she takes photos so breathtaking they make strangers cry. We did engagements and she helped me do a surprise boudoir shoot. On my wedding day she stepped up into the role of day-of coordinator when mine went AWOL. Between herself and her assistant Brittany, they kept us on schedule, corralled family, bustled my dress, kept me from melting down, kept me from boiling over, pinned 11 boutonnieres, stayed an extra hour, and wouldn't even accept extra pay. I left that day with a friend. I'm so much better for knowing her and recommend her a thousand times over!

Mychelle is by far the most personable photographer I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She truly takes the time to get to know her couples. During our engagement session she has this way about her to bring out all the smiles and giggles between my husband and I. During my bridals she was able to use jokes down the engagement session to bring out my smile. When people say the day goes by soo fast it truly does and at the end your left with you new spouse, memories, and your photos to help you relive your special day over and over again!! To say MLP is amazing still wouldn’t do them justice. Leading up to our special day, every meeting with Mychelle felt like a family get together. She makes you feel so comfortable like you’ve been life long friends right off the back. My husband and I have always felt awkward behind a camera, but that wasn’t the case with Mychelle. Mychelle rocks!! Not only does she take FANTASTIC wedding photos, but she has such a warm personality, and goes the extra mile to get you the photos you want. She pays close attention to detail and makes taking photos so much fun. I was on time crunch for my bridal portraits and Mychelle worked me into her schedule and we were able to get the large portrait back in time to have it displayed for our wedding. We had the pleasure of meeting with Mychelle for a pre-wedding/couple/engagement session a couple of weeks before our wedding. Until then the only pictures we had were those we had taken of ourselves (hooray for "us-ies"), or those we asked others to quickly snap. We had no idea what to expect, or how to pose/smile/stand/etc., but from the very beginning she made us feel completely at ease and was an excellent coach. By the end of our session we were even coming up with a few ideas of our own. Mychelle is simply a delight and had us laughing and enjoying every minute of the time we spent with her, so we were happy to oblige with every rock, bridge, meadow, and cliffside scenery challenge she tossed our way. Good thing too, because we are so happy with the images and the way she captured the love and silliness that is us. We plan to book a family session with her on her next Seattle summer trip. I could not recommend Mychelle LeVan more highly! Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Mychelle and her team were one of the first vendors we chose and we are so glad we did. From the very first meeting my husband and I could tell that she really cares about what she does and wanted us to have the best experience possible. Mychelle has such a great personality and is so easy and fun to work with. We did our engagement, bridal and wedding photography with her and could not have been happier. The pictures are beautiful. We did not hire a wedding day coordinator and Mychelle and her staff filled that void. They were there for us every step of the way, even down to having a tide pen for grass stains from taking pictures. Mychelle took our engagement photos for us this weekend in Washington at Mt. Rainier while she was here visiting her family, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! She kept in consistent communication with me leading up to our session (which was important since we had to find each other on top of a mountain with no cell reception!). Sher was prepared and professional, she took her time (2 and a half hours!) to make sure we got a wide variety of different shots in different beautiful locations. Most importantly for us, she was so genuine and personable, and immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, which made for such a fun and memorable experience. I can't wait to see how amazing the photos turn out, and will add to this review as soon as we see them!

Mychelle is wonderful! She went above and beyond for my husband and I during our "redo" shoot. We contacted her after our original photos came back from the wedding, and we did not get the intimate portraits that we wanted due to rain and timing of the wedding. And even though it also rained during our redo shoot, Mychelle exceeded expectations to make sure we captured beautiful pictures that day. She was patient, made sure that I was comfortable and her enthusiasm was contagious! She also found the perfect venue (The Overlook) near our home to shoot the pics. We are so thankful to have found Mychelle LeVan to photograph our wedding!! I had the pleasure of meeting Mychelle at a Halloween gathering with a group of friends a couple years ago. We ended up having a destination wedding, so she was not our photographer, but i plan to use her whenever i can in the future. maternity, baby, who knows :) Mychelle comes highly recommended. trust me, worth the investment.

I've known Mychelle for almost seven years. She has done a few sessions for me. She took some very sweet pictures of my newborn and my older daughter in my own home adding that really personal touch to my pictures. She most recently shot my wedding photos.
