With a background in engineering, Myla brings both creativity and meticulous preparation to every wedding. She works closely with couples and their planning teams before the celebration to understand the vision, priorities, people, and details that matter most. On the wedding day, her approach is calm and adaptable: offering direction when it creates a stronger photograph, stepping back when a moment is better left uninterrupted, and always keeping the experience of the day at the forefront. Photography is captured across digital, 35mm, and medium-format film, giving each gallery a layered mix of refined imagery and nostalgic texture. Every wedding is approached individually rather than from a predetermined shot list or formula. Myla Li Photos is based on the West Coast and frequently photographs weddings throughout California, including Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ojai, Orange County, Napa and Sonoma, as well as select destination celebrations. Custom collections are available for multi-day wedding weekends, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and additional coverage, with travel incorporated into destination proposals whenever possible. All couples and celebrations are warmly welcomed.
