Where do we even start? Mylah is the best of the best. If she’s available, don’t hesitate to book her. From our first meeting, to our engagement photos, all the communication in between, our wedding day, and receiving our entire wedding album only 13 days after our event, my husband and I knew we made the absolute best decision for our wedding photos. My now husband and I knew we loved Mylah’s beautiful work after she was the photographer for his twin sister’s wedding in 2020. When we got engaged in 2022, I told him we need to lock in a wedding date asap but only if Mylah is available! Mylah is the best of the best. She is communicative all throughout your engagement and even post wedding too! She is so helpful when it comes to the details of engagement photos and wedding photos. She becomes another MOH and honestly becomes like family. Gosh where do I start?… I saw Mylah’s work on IG and I knew she was the photographer I wanted. I wasn’t going to settle for anyone else, so I hired her over a year in advance. She took our engagement photos, my bridal shoot and our wedding photos and we could not be any happier with EVERYTHING about our experience with her. Her photography is nothing short of AMAZING. She was always on time, professional, friendly! Mylah made us feel very comfortable even though neither one of us had ever been in front of a professional camera. She gave us very easy instructions as she walked us through our photo shoots. My nerves quickly disappeared. After seeing what she did with us for our engagement photos, I knew we were in the best hands. Not only that, our wedding guest, friends and family raved about Mylah after the wedding. Everyone thought she was amazing. I think having her do both was the best decision we could’ve made to get us all comfortable with each other and the camera. I definitely recommend doing a bridal shoot too. I was able to make some small changes with my hair and bouquet for my wedding day, after seeing the photos. Get you some Mylah in your life! Mylah isn’t just a wedding photographer – she is your hype woman, your stylist, and your behind-the-scenes mediator all in one. From our engagement session in NYC to my bridal portraits to our wedding day, she made taking photos FUN. My husband and I are not naturals in front of a camera, but she made us feel so comfortable that we look like our best selves in all the photos she took. We have big families and a large wedding party, and she organized the portraits to be incredibly efficient. When my hair & makeup got delayed, she pivoted to make sure we still got all our photos done before the ceremony. When I was getting tired towards the end of the evening, Mylah adjusted our timeline to capture the most important moments – we never once felt forced or constrained by photo taking. And when she wasn’t fully satisfied by her initial detail shots, she even took some of our details home to spend more time on them! Hiring Mylah to photograph our wedding was by far the best decision we made. From our very first meeting we instantly felt connected to her. She took the time to get to know us, our story and vision for our big day. Mylah radiates energy and effortlessly creates a fun atmosphere that makes you feel confident and natural in front of the camera. We had two engagement sessions and a bridal boudoir shoot with Mylah because we couldn’t get enough of her work! By the time our wedding came around we knew Mylah on a personal level and really felt like a friend was capturing our wedding day! Her attention to detail and love for photography shows in every single photo. We got our engagement sneak peek photos within 24 hours after each shoot and the full gallery a week later. She even delivered our entire wedding gallery of 1,000+ photos SIX DAYS after our big day! It was such a sweet surprise to view them on our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away by her beautiful work once again. We opted out of a videographer and truly feel like Mylah captured the day perfectly! Seriously, no detail or moment was left out. Even our family can’t stop talking about how beautiful the photos are and how sweet Mylan is to this day. Mylah is beautiful inside and out and we will never be able to thank her enough for her hard work and dedication to our wedding day. Mylah is the most amazing photographer, but even more important she is such a fun person to be around. She creates an atmosphere of fun and laughter that makes you almost forget you're being photographed. You end up spending a lot of time throughout your wedding day with your photographer and Mylah made every moment so fun, casual, and natural. We elected to have our engagement photos with Mylah as well and I would highly recommend this. It helped us to get an idea of how she worked and made it even more comfortable to be around her on wedding day. My wedding date was 5/23/21, and Mylah and her team captured my day perfectly. I am writing another review because Mylah saved my butt, as long story short I thought I lost all my wedding photos...I sent her a quick email in a panic and within 24 hours she had already emailed me back with all my photos safe and sound. I could go on and on about how wonderful Mylah is, but you should not wait any longer...BOOK her and your day will be captured just how you dreamed it would be!

My husband and I will never be able to thank Mylah enough for all that she did for us during our wedding season! From engagement photos to wedding photos and all the fun stuff in between, Mylah was beyond incredible. We wish we could get married all the time just so that we could work with her regularly! Mylah Renae is a phenomenal photographer and captured the most stunning photos of my husband and I during our wedding and engagement session! Short Story: Hire Mylah! Long Story: I have been waiting to write this review until I had the time to sit down and really share all of the incredible work that Mylah does! From the first email she was warm, hospitable and eager to learn more about my husband and I. She truly took the time to get to know us, our story, our hearts and our vision of our big day. She was intentional to make sure that she was a good fit for us and we were a good fit for her. We knew from the moment we finished our engagement sessions that we had made a great choice in hiring Mylah for our pictures! Neither one of us are exactly comfortable with being in front of the camera but she took the time to make us feel comfortable, laugh and truly enjoy the session with her. (We also loved every single picture - honestly!) I also took my bridals with her which was AMAZING. Again, not feeling too comfortable in my own skin- she made me feel incredible. She is so intentional about making sure that these pictures are your own! Goodness, on the wedding day we had less than ideal weather, but she made taking pictures in 39* and rain so much fun! I couldn't feel my face, but I didn't even care because we were truly having a blast. She was so well organized and kept the day running so smoothly. I really can't say enough great things about Mylah - she exceeded all expectations of our wedding photographer! During all photos, she hypes you up and brings out the genuine smile instead of those fake ones. She is there making sure your hair looks good, helps bustle your dress and makes sure you are having fun doing it. First, she always responds to emails so quickly and if she is going to be out for the holidays or something, she makes sure you know so you aren’t just waiting around for her. We first talked over the phone on facetime to get to know each other better and we were able to tell her how me and husband met, how he proposed and just a little about us, and of course a little about her. Soon after that we scheduled our engagement photos. She recommended some places based on what we like and it went so smoothly. It wasn’t awkward posing or fake smiles, it was us having fun, Mylah making us genuinely laugh and guiding us for the photos. After the engagement shoot, my husband said, “that was actually fun, I wanna do it again.” Then we got the engagement photos back so quickly, it was awesome!! A few months before our wedding, she started working on the timeline of our wedding and getting all the details so she didn’t miss anything on the day. On the day of, she arrived early and took pictures of all the details which turned out amazing. Our wedding day itself was so much fun. Mylah has such a fun energy and will continually hype you up. We hired Mylah to do our destination wedding in Colorado. Mylah is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. I do not find myself to be very photogenic or comfortable in front of a camera. She makes you feel like a model, both during the picture taking experience and once you get the pictures. She is very personable and instantly makes you feel comfortable. From her warm smile, fun energy and two Great Danes that made a guest appearance, I knew from the moment we hopped on a zoom that she was “the one”. Something I didn’t think about when choosing a wedding photographer is how important this person is on the big day for the bride. It’s an overwhelmingly emotional day and Mylah did such an amazing job at truly knowing me. She knew when I needed a break, she knew when I was feeling overwhelmed, she knew how to calm me, how to encourage me, it was amazing how quickly Mylah knew me and it felt like a lifelong friend was with me taking photos. She also went out of her way to comfort my anxious junior bridesmaid. Mylah is a master of her craft, so incredibly talented and she’s also incredibly kind, empathetic and the person you want with you on your big day.

We got Mylah Renae Photography off the preferred vendors list provided by our venue. After reviewing her galleries, we reached out to set up a short phone call. I knew right off that Mylah loves what she does and wanted to make our wedding as special as possible. My husband and I live in New York but got married in Texas and she was so easy to get in touch with and communicate with long distance. Her level of professionalism and grace is phenomenal. We knew full well that we had family drama and that it would possibly pop up at the wedding, and when it did, Mylah and Angie handled it perfectly. The photo preview and full gallery photos came out so amazing and we could not be happier. MYLAH IS AMAZING!!!! I am so blown away by all of our photos! Going through them allowed us to relive this special day and we could not be happier with the results. We had a Zoom meeting to meet Mylah before hiring her for our special day and from the very beginning we just knew that she was the person we wanted to have as a part of our team. It’s been about a week from getting our photos and my husband and I still finding ourselves going through them start to finish. Mylah has a way of blending into the crowd to capture some spectacular moments that you can cherish for a lifetime! WOW!! Where do I start? HIRE MYLAH NOW! She is simply the best! In every way! She is insanely talented and produces beautiful work. I've been in fancy weddings with some of the best and most expensive photographers, but no one holds a candle to Mylah! On top of that, she is just a beautiful person inside and out. She has a magical way of making you feel immediately comfortable. She is creative and curious and always looking for the best shot, but you're so distracted by how much fun she is to be around that you forget you're being photographed. She is energetic, positive, kind, and effortlessly brings out your silly side! Working with her feels like hanging out with an old friend. And the photos that result are pure gold. Here's just one small example of how awesome Mylah is. On the day of my bridal session, we arrived at the venue only to discover we were locked out and nobody from the venue was answering their phone/email. Mylah sprang into action! She sent out the bat signal to her entire network of Austin photographers/planners and got the info we needed. Then, right as we finally started shooting outside, it started to absolutely POUR! I was disappointed (I had been hoping to get photos at a specific spot on the property), but Mylah was prepared and had her indoor flash equipment ready to go and helped me keep a positive attitude. We ended up getting some of my absolute favorite shots inside the bridal cottage. But the MOST impressive part was how she positioned me on the covered patio in a way that, with the flash, made it look like I actually WAS standing outside in the middle of a lush green field! NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW it was actually pouring behind me! She is a magician. Mylah turned the day into one of my favorite days ever, we had so much fun!! And the photos were better than I ever could've imagined! Our entire wedding party and families raved about Mylah (and her assistant Angie too!). She was efficient but still got all the shots we wanted (and more), was mindful of the heat and making sure we all got AC breaks, and kept such a high energy level ALL day! We have looked at our album so many times, there isn't a single photo that isn't amazing. Even knowing how talented she is, Mylah still totally blew us away. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Just do yourself a favor, stop looking (because there's nobody better) and hire Mylah right now!!

Throughout the entire wedding process, Mylah was an absolute joy to work with. She is so personable and made us feel so comfortable! Every photo she takes is gorgeous and she genuinely cares about capturing every moment!

Mylah is everything I wanted in a wedding photographer! She knows the best angles, has the best wedding advice, and through our engagement to our wedding day I felt like she was part of our family! She is prompt, professional, but I also felt like she had been my friend for years! It’s nice to have that feeling when someone is taking pictures of one of the most important times in your life- right?! She has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera as a couple and that was so nice! We had her take our engagement, bridal, and wedding day photographs and they are so perfect! She was also able to be flexible because- Texas weather is just unpredictable! The best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process was hiring Mylah! She is the absolute BEST! We genuinely had so much fun with her. Our engagement shoot felt like we were hanging out with a long-time friend. She got our pictures back to us in a timely manner and we were extremely impressed! She was also very flexible when I changed my getting-ready location for the wedding last minute. I initially felt so bad about changing it, but she was extremely supportive and understanding! The day of our wedding was perfect thanks in part to Mylah! She was there for us at every special moment and was able to expertly capture everything! Not only are her pictures STUNNING, but she is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She was genuinely SO happy for us and did absolutely everything she could to make our day perfect. How can I describe Mylah aside from an absolute photography goddess? Holy cow! My husband and I are such major dorks and yet she somehow is able to capture such beautiful moments. She is also so fun to work with and has such a fun personality! You can never go wrong with her, she is truly amazing.

The worst part about hiring Mylah as your photographer is having to 1 - say goodbye at the end of it all and 2 - chose your favorite photos to share, because they are all too amazing. Mylah is phenomenal! Her attention to detail in every photo setting is precise. She is so passionate about her work and is dedicated to making sure you love everything about your photos. Mylah far surpassed our expectations during our engagement photos, then again for my Bridals, and absolutely killed it for our wedding. One of my most favorite memories through the whole wedding process was having Mylah by my side. She quickly becomes a friend and never felt like "just another vendor" apart of the wedding experience. Her expensive cameras around her neck do not stop her from getting on her hands and knees to fix every last detail on your dress and veil, or whatever might need fixed. I cannot say enough good things about Mylah! My husband and I got married this past December. We actually had a pretty short engagement and wanted our engagement photos (which were in August) to match our winter themed wedding. We had such a fantastic experience with Mylah. First we were supposed to get married in November but when COVID hit we decided to elope and get married at our home in April. With only a few days notice, Mylah came out and took some amazing pictures and truly made our little unplanned event even more special. We had so much fun the photo shoot after the short wedding. She had us laughing and giggling and being our true selves. She really knows how to bring out your personality and put you at ease. In November we held a reception for family and friends. Mylah is AMAZING!!! You really don't need to search through anymore photographers after finding, Mylah! I met Mylah over 4 years ago when she photographed my best friends wedding. Once I was engaged, Mylah was the first person I reached out to to book my wedding in 2020. I didn't bother looking into other photographers because I knew Mylah was going to do the best job for our big day. Our engagement shoot was in the dead middle of summer and the pictures turned out so perfect! You could not even tell we were sweating through our clothes. On wedding day, Mylah was patient, thorough, and on time with everything! She even bustled my dress for me so we could join our wedding guests at the cocktail hour. We were one of the couples that had to reschedule their wedding due to COVID-19 and when my fiancé and I were throwing out possible new dates for the wedding, one of our requirements was Mylah HAD to be available because we couldn't picture having any other photographer for our wedding. When she did our engagement photos, we switched locations on her a week before to a place she had not done photos before and she was amazing! She had tons of on-site ideas for us and went the extra mile to ensure we had tons of beautiful pictures to choose from. From the very beginning Mylah was personable, quick to respond and great at explaining to us the step by step process from engagement pictures to the wedding. She took the time to get to know my fiance and I's story which made the pictures turn out even better! On wedding day, we had some stressful and unforeseen moments but it didn't phase Mylah, she had a plan B that made the pictures turn out amazing.
