Myles Studio Photography is a wedding photography company based in Highland, New York. It is owned and operated by husband and wife team Myles & Sandra Pinkney. Myles has been photographing weddings for over 27 years, while Sandra has been photographing weddings as a 2nd Shooter for 10 years. She also is our main production designer, designing not only wedding albums, but Save-the-date cards, thank you cards, and even wedding invitations. She is amazing. Myles is the master photographer and specializes in wedding photography and portrait photography. He loves taking photos and working with couples and their families. He’s what you call a people person. Both Myles and Sandi have received many compliments on the quality of their work, and on how well they interact with the all the family and friends at the weddings they have worked at. They have also been complimented on how well they work with other vendors. Services Offered Myles Studio Photography offers free in-person consultations both before and after your wedding in order to ensure that every client is satisfied with their services. The studio features an array of package options, which enables couples to choose a collection products based on their individual needs and budget requirements. Each package includes an engagement session with a Signature Mat and print, a high-resolution USB drive of your wedding images, an online gallery for your friends and family to also view your images. Furthermore, the company operates under a one-event-per-day policy to ensure that each couple receives the photographer's complete dedication. In addition to the aforementioned format, packages include bridal albums, parent albums, canvas prints, thank you cards, paper proofs and save-the-date cards. Myles was absolutely wonderful! Eric and I knew he was our photographer from the moment we met him. He was with us from the start of the planning process and shared his expertise with details we weren’t sure with. It was a blessing to have a guide while planning such an important event. He had such a way with staging photos and capturing the beauty of each moment throughout our special day. Not only that, but he managed to rally our rather large and unruly wedding party! We can’t possibly say enough wonderful things about Myles and his work but, on top of all that, he was an absolute pleasure to be with. His personality and kindness made each one of us feel comfortable in every shot he took. Our guests and wedding party can’t stop talking about what a great job he did. He was present in every moment without ever taking away from those moments. And, what’s more, he really seemed to be enjoying our day...it never seemed like it was just another job. There is so much to love about Myles!! My husband and I had a lovely invitation from Myles Studio Photography from a Bridal Expo at Diamond Mills Hotel in Saugerties last year, for a complimentary engagement photo session and signature mat with photo. I called Myles, and we were immediately impressed with his dedication to the engagement shoot. We had so much fun, and loved our engagement pictures so much, we knew we had to hire him to do our wedding photography! Myles was a joy to work with, quick to respond, and builds a tremendous rapport with his clients. Our bridal party had some unfortunate changes less than a month before the wedding, and we were devastated that my parents would not come to the wedding, but we were able to make changes to our wedding day to include a "first look" and, our children more, in the lineup. Our wedding ceremony was at 11:00 a.m., and Myles was ready to take pictures at 8:00. He doesn't miss a single detail, and he is passionate about every photo he takes. Myles genuinely loves what he does, right up to the "sneak peek" we got of our wedding album just 12 hours later. We love his energy and enthusiasm. Myles was the photographer for our wedding, and I cannot say enough amazing things about this man and his work!! He is very professional and so talented, but also brought so much fun and energy to us and our party! His experience made everything so easy on us, being able to do everything we asked, but also consistently coming up with ideas we didn't think of! I cannot say enough great things about Myles and Sandi! From start to finish they were so pleasant, professional and easy to work with. I consider myself a pretty stress-free person, but on my wedding day some stress did end up creeping up on me. Myles and Sandi were so sweet and gave me the space I needed. Even my parents and friends and family in our wedding party were blown away by how wonderful Myles and Sandi were. Not only are their pictures gorgeous and artistic, their personalities make Myles Studio Photography the whole package! Our pictures exceeded our expectations, as did our albums (I actually cried when I saw mine for the first time). I would recommend Myles and Sandi to everyone and anyone in need of a photographer. We hired Myles Studio for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. He was a great value for the price and the overall photo quality was outstanding. He captured so many beautiful moments as they were happening and to tell you the truth we barely knew he was there. My wife and I were so pleased with everything they did for us. My husband and I used Myles Studio Photography for our wedding. They came highly recommended by some good friends of ours who used them for their own wedding. They have many packages to choose from and produce beautiful photography and albums. On our wedding day, they captured ever special moment and somehow got all of the little ones in our wedding party to cooperate happily. They have a beautiful studio and are genuinely nice people!!

Myles and his wife Sandi are amazing. They both have amazing personality, great customer service and they are very professional. We had great chemistry from the start. Myles did everything we asked and he was able to help us tweak the package we wanted to meet our needs. They were both great to work with. They helped make the wedding day go so smoothly. Myles and his wife were easy to get along with. The picture they took were perfect. Myles captured all the moments we wanted. They also made the process of going through the pictures and creating our wedding package very easy and stress free. The price of the packages are set at great prices for the high quality photos, customer service and everything comes with the package. You will NOT be disappointed with your wedding photography as long as you choose Myles Studio Photography. The husband and wife super-duo, Myles and Sandi, are great to work with- they are extremely professional, kind and creative. My husband and I never felt pressured to pose in a certain way or to purchase something that we did not want. During the wedding they took the photos in a way that did not at all feel obtrusive- they make every effort not to shove a camera in your face during your special day. Instead, they capture the moment in its true form. After the wedding, they meet with you and take as much time as you need to pick the perfect photographs for your wedding album and framed photography. I highly recommend Myles and Sandi. Our photos and albums are beautiful and we will treasure them forever.

Myles and Sandi are amazing! They made us feel like we were part of the family from the beginning of our consult. They are both with you every step of the way and are more than willing to help. My husband and I absolutely love your wedding pictures! When we were looking through them, we did not even know how they got some of the pictures because we never saw Sandi or Myles take the picture. They get awesome pictures but are never in the way. We will absolutely use them again for another occasion!

We met Myles and Sandi after a referral from a friend. From the beginning we could tell they were very passionate about their work, and in the end it really showed. Myles is very detail-oriented, and has an idea of the kinds of shots he wants. During our engagement shots and eventual wedding day photos, Myles made sure to get a wide array of shots. What we were given a month after our wedding were hundreds of photos that included everything and everyone we wanted. The hardest part was narrowing down our favorites for the album, since there were so many greats ones. We had a few simple requests for Myles.. basically to get certain shots of certain people, and not to miss a second of our cocktail hour.. and he delivered. Overall I'd fully recommend Myles and Sandi, as we'll be sure to go back for any future photography needs.

Myles Studio was our first photographer that we visited and we fell in love with them right away. From day one, they were so helpful with walking us through the whole process. From showing us the amazing photo options that he has to offer us, giving us a great DJ recommendation, to being by our side from beginning to end of our wedding. Myles had great ideas for our wedding and worked very hard to get us every shot that we wanted throughout the whole process. If you want a professional photographer that will work their hardest to make your wedding the most memorable time imaginable, then Myles Studio Photography is hands down the first place you should call.

The photos were beautiful and hard to choose from for our album because we had so many wonderful shots. I was very picky with certain shots I wanted to have and Myles made sure to get them all. When we first sat down with Myles and Sandy on our search for a photographer we just knew that they were going to be the perfect fit for our wedding day. We couldn't stop talking about how friendly and comfortable they made us feel in their studio. They provided us with many options for our wedding package and we are so pleased with having chose them for our June 2013 wedding. We chose to have engagement photos taken at Poet's Walk in Rhinebeck. Myles was there early waiting for us. He is an extremely professional photographer who captures photographs with detail and emotion. I highly recommend getting an engagement shoot because we got the chance to connect with Myles and get to know him better before our wedding day. On our wedding day Myles and Sandy were so attentive and helpful. They were so present in the moment and even helped me calm down at certain moments throughout the day! I don't think we could have made a better choice than Myles and Sandy for our wedding. I think I must have asked Myles close to a dozen times if he was sure he didn't need to have more help; if he was sure he'd be able to capture everything. He assured us that everything would be fine, and he was not kidding. We were amazed when we got our photos back. He didn't miss a thing. It was just as if we were living through our day again. We just picked up our albums and we really couldn't be happier. We have wonderful memories to last us a lifetime....thanks to Myles and Sandy....and some great tips on how to make the marriage last as well! It was great working both Myles and his wife. They are both very professional and gave experienced advice. They were able to accommodate our various requests and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Myles was very professional throughout the wedding and the reception. Myles and his wife Sandy were the most wonderful people to work with on our wedding day, and the year leading up to the day. I met Myles at my very first Bridal Expo. After being bombarded with other vendors selling their wares, several in a very aggressive fashion, meeting Myles and his wife Sandy was a breath of fresh air. They did not force me to look at their photos, or listen to their pitch, instead they spoke with me and took the time to connect with me as the bride. Even in the middle of the Grandview, with hundreds of people around, they took the time to make me feel like I was the most important person in the room. I knew that this was the studio that I wanted to photograph the most exciting day of my life. When I took my fiance to meet Myles at his studio, he too knew that we would hire him, not even knowing the cost. Myles pricing is very fair and the quality of his work is fantastic. We are awaiting our photo albums, but are not the least bit wary of the outcome. Our wedding guests commented on how personable Myles and Sandy were and how out of the way they were. I could not have asked for nicer, more talented photographers to capture the moments of my wedding. I can say for certain that at any milestone in our marriage, we will always call upon Myles Studios to capture the moment.

I can't say enough good things about Myles and Sandi!!! When my husband and I began the planning process we met Myles and Sandi at the first Bridal Show we attended. They were both friendly, enthusiastic, and we could tell how much they LOVED photographing weddings!!! Choosing Myles Studio was one of the easiest decisions we made!!! Our Engagement shoot was such a blast and they provided us with a beautiful photograph and signature mat that was displayed at the wedding. Everyone loved it and talked about how beautiful the pictures came out! Myles was always there to answer any questions, and made the entire process so simple! On our wedding day, both Myles and Sandi made me and my husband comfortable and they got some amazing shots!!! Myles and Sandi did an awesome job! When I first started looking for photographers, I knew immediately Myles and Sandi were the photographers for me!!! They are nice, down to earth, fun people. They get to know you, the groom, and the "special" people in your life/wedding. Their unique talent makes for beautiful pictures. They have a great process that works for them and for the bride and groom. They are flexible and are willing to work with you and take your opinion into consideration. I could look at my pictures all day long. I would highly recommend Myles Studio for any event!!

What else can I say.. Myles and Sandi did an excellent job! My husband and I decided to book with Myles as soon as we saw his work and the fact that we felt like we were with old friends, even though we had just met. They worked with us to customize our package and all prices were up front. We received a free engagement shoot and portrait with signature mat, which was displayed beautifully at the wedding reception. On the day of the wedding I had a little melt down and it was Myles and Sandi who consoled me and told me to relax and go with the flow, which put me a little at ease. We decided not have a videographer which was fine because every moment was captured! Our pictures came out so beautiful it made it sooo difficult to choose which ones to put in our album. I can't wait to see the finished product, I know it will be worth the wait!

We picked up our completed album and parent albums about 7 months after our wedding and we could not be happier with the end results!! Our albums are everything Myles and Sandi promised and then some! It is obvious that they are professional and personalized albums made just for you; Some of the other vendors we looked into gave you just a plain black or brown cover (not what we wanted). With Myles you get to pick the picture you would like on the cover, as well as the pictures that go into the album. This could normally be a daunting task, but with Myles and Sandi's help it was fun and exciting! They let you pick the pictures but when you need that little bit of professional advice they are there to help. We also loved that we had the option of reviewing the album before it was made! This gave us a sneak peak before we received the finished products. Overall, Myles and Sandi are fantastic to work with!! They work with you throughout the entire process, and they were very accommodating! I would definitely recommend Myles and Sandi to anyone looking for a great photographer!!!

Myles Studio was the best vendor that we chose for our wedding. Immediately upon meeting Myles and seeing his and his wife's work we knew this was who we wanted to book. Their work was absolutely amazing as was their professionalism. The day of the wedding Myles created a sense of calm and peace through the entire process. He was patient, treated all with great respect and again, was very professional. After the wedding Myles and his wife gave us constant guidance and updates about the process and time expectations for the photos and eventual albums. The photos were amazing and abundant!! There are not enough words to describe the style and professionalism that Myles brought to our wedding day! Not only does he manage to correctly capture every moment, but also every emotion that follows. He truly has a gift for seeing the perfect shot. He captured every moment we asked for and the ones that just happened. He has a eye for that perfect moment that you want to relive over and over after the day is done. He also had the most reasonable prices for what he has to offer. While we researched other photographers, his prices were the best for the quality of the pictures and all that is offered in each package! He is a must have!!!

My husband & I had booked Myles for our wedding on March 26, 2011-i had 3 other vendors i had to interview but as soon as i met Myles, he not only made me feel comfortable but also that he had our best interests in mind. We booked him the day of our meeting! With the package we chose we recieved an engagement photo session. My husband is very camera shy and during this session Myles took the time to make him feel at ease and enjoy himself while taking beautiful pictures. Out of this engagement session we got a beautiful shot we choose ourselves that we were able to use at our wedding. The day of our wedding Myles was prompt and snapping tons of shots. He was very friendly and made all our guests and wedding party feel excited for the special day. Throughout our wedding Myles took about 600 shots, all very intimate and truly capturing the romance of the day. As a side note one specific quality that stuck out was that he asked if we had any special photo requests with certain family members. We immediately took this opportunity to tell him how close we were with our grandparents. Myles took pictures of both of us in seperate shots and I've never seen my grandmother look more beautiful. Since our even my husband's grandfather has passed which made these pictures all the more special. Myles took such great pictures it took us forever to choose our final ones for our wedding album. If i had to sum up Myles work traits i would tell another bride looking for a photographer that he was extremely professional, confident in his work, friendly, flexible,and very accommodating. Myles made my day a dream come true and I couldn't say enough great things about him, his family(who also take part in his work) and the wonderful job that was done.

Our albums are the most beautiful albums I have ever seen, and I can not thank him and Sandi enough. I would not have a second thought about recommending them to a friend looking for a great wedding photographer.

I HIGHLY recommend Myles Studio for your wedding or any other special occasion. He is a true professional. I met with 3 other photographers before Myles and knew on our first visit that he was the guy for the job. My husband came with me and as soon as Myles left the room to get an album to show us, my husband looked at me and said "Let's hire him". His warmth, kindness and professionalism are what sets him apart, plus his work is beautiful. I had a bad cold the day of our engagement picture shoot and once we saw the pictures, I was so relieved - they were gorgeous and you couldn't even tell I was sick. He is prompt, he is courteous and is true to his word. The best compliment I can give is that I barely remember seeing him at the wedding! He was not intrusive at all - which is the sign of a true professional. Many of my guests commented that they barely remember seeing him - so I know he wasn't in everyone's way. And the pictures were amazing. He also was sure to get the specific shots I wanted - me and my college roommates, my high school friends, etc. What a joy to have Myles capture the shots that, as the bride and groom, you might miss. He had some great shots of the toasts - and of us laughing hysterically! He put us at ease and let us be ourselves, which was reflected in our pictures. Some of the other photographers I interviewed I found to be cocky and some were a little "out there" with their styles. Myles asked what we wanted and worked with us, giving us some suggestions too which made it easier for us. He got a great shot of all our guests outside the church after the ceremony. It is in our album and I will cherish it - it's blown up a bit and you can see all our guests! Myles and Sandy did a fabulous job on the album! They incorporated my colors and the layout is beautiful. I am extremely satisfied with everything Myles did for us at our wedding and I promise you will be just as happy when you hire him!

My husband and I could not have been more blessed with a better photographer or experience. I am not fond of taking pictures, but Myles was very personable and professional. The whole wedding party, right down to the ringbearer and flower girl, had a great time working with him. We could not believe how beautiful EVERY picture came out and the work that Myles and his wife Sandy completed on our wedding album was phenomenal! I can not put into words how I feel whenever I look at it. It's priceless. I recommend Myles Studio Photography to anyone, for any occasion that you want to cherish forever.

Myles was professional, yet easy-going. My husband and I had a blast working with him!! He captured every special moment and detail we could have asked for! His style was a mix of traditional shots, photojournalistic shots and fun candids. Myles was unobtrusive- you didn't even know he was there! His wife Sandi is a gem and her artistic touch made our album truly spectacular!! I can't even begin to say enough good things about him. I highly recommend Myles Studio Photography!!!!!!!!

Myles captures every moment, every laughter, every significant event of your cherished wedding. He has a talent of getting the most significant events without ever being noticed or intrusive. We had our engagement photo session with Myles as well and he took us to a great location and demonstrated his talent with each picture taken because the outcome was breath-taking. We continuously get compliments on our engagements photos all of the time. Now back to the main event, the wedding. He has such attention to detail with lighting poses, shadows that each picture is a keeper. His packages are average in price compared to the outstanding quality of work that is presented. He is flexible and never over demanding. We have heard of stories and seen on tv when the photographer is completely ruining the ceremony but this is not the case with Myles. He is a very soft spoken man with tons of great ideas for pictures that will illuminate your already special day. The best part is the wedding album. We went through their(Myles and his wife,sandy) unique method of eliminating pictures for our 60 photo wedding album. We left complete creative control in their hands and approx. a month ago we picked up our album and We must say, we would not change a thing. Our family and friends cannot believe that Myles Studio did everything from the picture taking to the album creation. There is one thing we promise if you choose Myles Studio to handle your wedding or any other photo session, the outcome and hard work that they put towards your special event will be unmatched by anyone. Myles was an absolute joy to work with. He was kind,considerate, took suggestions, gave suggestions, and Everything came out beautifully. I originally won a engagement shoot with him at a bridal show. We took our pictures in the fall, but it was damp on muggy on the day we went. Once we received our proofs I was extremely happy with the work that he did, but I looked so bad in the pictures. My hair was a mess because of the wedding (ladies, you know what the rain does to our hair). Myles gladly offered to re-do our pictures and the second time around they came out beautiful. Just from the kindness tht he had to re-do our shoot instantly won us over and it should for you too. Most photographers would probably never ever offer to do that. We loved the pictures from our wedding and Myles captured everything that we wanted him too. He was wonderful!!!!!

My husband and I LOVED working with Myles and his wife, Sandi. He took so many beautiful pictures on our wedding day and the final products turned out amazing! On the actual wedding day, he was really fun to work with. He made the formal portraits fly by because we were having such a good time. At the ceremony and reception you could barely tell he was there. My guests said they loved him because he wasn’t “annoying” and was not constantly asking them to pose. Yet every time you looked a different direction he was somewhere else catching a laugh or a dance move. Upon researching photographers I read that you should always have a team of two to take more angles and poses. It was something I believed until I saw how beautiful his sample albums were. If you have a photographer as talented as Myles, it does not have to be a concern. After the wedding day, we worked with Myles and Sandi on picking the pictures for our album and other products. They were both so kind and really seemed to care about giving us the best quality. They spent a long time with us trying to narrow down the pictures for our album and 8x10 portrait and were so patient while doing so. One concern I had originally was that we had to pay in full before the actual wedding day. There are many vendors who would take advantage of that and give you half the effort as soon as they got their money. Trust me when I say that you do not have to worry- they sincerely care about you as a person and the final product you receive. Myles and Sandi were a pleasure to work with and my husband and I would highly recommend them for your photographer!

Of all the vendors you choose for your wedding, the photographer is one of the most important. Your photos are where your memories are captured and moments you may have missed are revealed :-) We used Myles for our engagement pics first and I knew from the outcome of the photos that I had made the PERFECT choice. He has a way of showing your emotions in his pics - nothing phony and posey; this was VERY important to me. Myles and Sandi did an AMAZING job at capturing the tears, smiles, laughs, first dance, last dance.. and all of the other beautiful details that I can revisit for years to come through my wedding album. The hardest part is trying to select your final album pics because they all look great!!! Myles is not evasive, he sits back and does his thing... in the end, you have beautiful pictures. I also have to mention my family and friends loved Myles as well, they felt he was great to work with. He's your ideal vendor, prompt, professional and great quality work. We just sent out our thank you cards and I have received so many compliments on the originality and the beautiful pics. Thank you Myles and Sandi for the tears and smiles we have everytime we look at our pics, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!

Myles is amazing. I met with 5 photographers before Myles and either didn't see what I wanted in the package; or didn't like their personality. My DJ (DJ Dr. Sound) recommended Myles. The minute I met Myles my husband and I knew we were going to book him. We saw the work his wife and him do together to create your story book of your wedding. After meeting him and getting to know his personality and professionalism we knew he was the one! He actually left the room for for a minute and my husband and I said...let's book him! Our engagement session was up at Mohonk Moutain house and we had so much fun taking the pictures. I HATE having my picture taken and he made it fun and quick! The day of our Wedding was truly so special. I didn't even know he was taking pictures. Our pictures came out beauitful! EVERYONE loves them including us! Sandi and Myles make you feel like old time friends. Not only do we have amazing pictures from our Wedding Day, but met great people and friends along the way! They also helped us narrow down the pictures we wanted for our Album, which was a HUGE help or we would still be figuring out what we need to do!!!! I strongly suggest booking Myles, you will be so pleased! Some of my bridesmaids who have been married; loved him over their own photographer!!!! I just wanted to say that Myles was wonderful. He is an amazing photographer, he takes the time to get to know you and makes you feel like family. The minute we met with Myles and saw his portfolio we immediately felt a connection. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we had a blast shooting an engagement session. He is a true professional and has such a great eye for beautiful shots. And he does his job so well that he just blends into the background and gets some great shots that you didn't even realize were going on.

He did exactly what we asked. I did not want the photographer to hound us all day taking pictures. We were specific about what we wanted and he complied.;He took am long time getting our proofs to us and getting our pictures we ordered to us as well. We had to constantly call him.
