Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. She helped us pick an amazing location that required some travel for her, and it was so much fun - we got sun, fog, rain, sunset, and even a rainbow! She was prepared for it all and made it such a fun adventure. We were really nervous and she helped us chill and get a bit more comfy in front of the camera. She delivered our sneak peaks the next day which were so fun to look through and was extremely prompt with getting us the rest of our gallery. Naturally, we hired Ann Marie for our wedding too and cannot imagine having anyone else! She was so helpful through the stressful wedding planning process, sending us vendor recommendations and always being available if we had questions or needed advice. She has an amazing network and her want to help with things not even photography related was so impressive and very appreciated. There was a major health scare in my family, we weren’t even sure if my dad was going to make it to wedding day and Ann Marie was so kind and supportive. She captured moments for my family that carried a lot of weight and she did it with such grace and thoughtfulness. We are all so grateful for her commitment to making wedding day as special as possible, for my husband and I but also our loved ones. We’ve gotten an amazing selection of sneak peaks and should be getting our full gallery soon - we couldn’t be more excited! Ann Marie is impressively prompt and has communicated with us each step of the way so we were never left to wonder “what’s next?” All of our friends and family are also very impressed with Ann Marie as a photographer and as a person. Just here to show off Myrtle Creative Co. Photography with Ann Marie! We recently got our sneak peaks back from our wedding July 2024. We had a multi-day event in and near North Cascades. (both elopement and wedding, so we have best of both of what Ann offers) We were looking for a down to earth photographer (to make us comfy) and one who traveled, but ended up with that and more! We had met up virtually with many other photographers before picking her! She was very helpful throughout the planning process, helped with advice on my indecisiveness and helped think of things no one else did day of and during the planning. Not to mention her talent (see attached!!) I have 0 complaints and only raves about our experience. (this is coming from a very type A person who doesn't usually write reviews) She was amazing and would recommend 10/10. Thanks Ann!

Definitely one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. We had Ann Marie do our engagement photos and we loved her from the start and loved how they came out. We were devastated when we found out she was already booked for our wedding date, but she got us set up with one of her associates Elena at a discounted rate. Even though she wasn't going to be there on our big day she still put in so much effort to help us decide the timeline and the shot list. She kept in contact with us the whole time and really made us feel confident about the big day. She will still be doing the editing in her style and we are absolutely thrilled with the sneak peek shots we've gotten so far! She even threw in an extra photographer for us for free which was incredibly kind of her, although unfortunately that photographer was sick on the day of the wedding so we still ended up with just one. But Elena was great and made us feel totally at ease and got every shot on the list. She kept everything running on time despite the timeline having been created for two photographers. Ann Marie and Elena were a dream team to work with and I can't say enough good things about them.

The best photographer a bride could ask for! My wedding party and I were blown away by her organization, industry knowledge professionalism, and incredible personality. Ann Marie could have been our wedding planner too, with how much she helped us! I will be singing her praises for years to come. Without a doubt, Ann Marie was the best decision we ever made. Ann Marie was one of the most important parts of our wedding day and we would not only highly recommend her but also can't wait for another chance to work with her again (we can get married every year right?!) What we most appreciated was her down to earth nature, ability to adapt to the day and the way she made our entire photo shoot a memory in and of itself. We never once felt like we were on display or posed. The day felt natural and very much so about us. She was playful, professional, part of the family so to speak and an absolute joy. From the moment we met her on zoom, we knew she was the right fit and she was invaluable both the planning process and on the day itself. She even helped my husband plan a surprise gift on the beach and was so subtle that I didn't suspect anything. We will cherish these photos forever. Lets just say, Ann Marie is PURE MAGIC and everything will always work out. I reached out to Ann ~1year in advanced from my wedding, at that time I had no true direction of the basic "where, when" details. I knew I loved the beach and the water was calling, but I was feeling the wedding pressure of a local celebration with ALL the family, then maybe an 'after wedding photoshoot at the beach'. Anyways, months go by and probably 3 months prior to the wedding date, I changed up the whole plan. I added a small ceremony at the beach (on Friday), an a larger reception locally (on Saturday)! I was crossing my fingers and toes that she would have room for the extra day. Ann was the best and so flexible with this change, she had already scouted the location (at the beach) and had so many Ideas! She was also amazing as a wedding timeline coordinator (for both days!), she created a detailed Itinerary down to the minute and was able to coordinate with the DJ, she has a vast knowledge of local vendors and resources. She treated us like a close family friend would, making sure we ate food at the wedding and drank water. Making sure we had everything we needed at both locations. Most importantly she made us feel comfortable, My (now) husband had never had professional photos taken before and Ann made it easy to relax in front of the lens. She is the most amazing photographer I have every worked with. (Trust me I am particular with photos and who I choose to capture my memories in time) Also her pictures speak for themselves, they are what photo dreams are made of and I love how she made it fun and relaxing. Granted, climbing up the Cape Kawanda sand dune in a wedding dress with frigid winds swirling around us was a challenge, but somehow Ann made it a magical memory, as if time was standing still and just spending time watching the sunset with my husband. I love how pictures can say 1,000 words, and capture the emotions and energy of a moment. Ann Marie was/is the BEST choice for a wedding photographer! She talked to my husband and I regularly, updated us when needed and helped us when needing vendors. We had hired Ann for our wedding day, she was in contact with us the whole time throughout the process and was very kind all throughout the whole deal. She was as excited as we were. Even though it rained she didn’t back out and had a wonderful experience. She took a bunch of amazing pictures and was super friendly the whole entire time. After the very first consultation call, I knew Ann Marie was the perfect photographer for my wedding. Words cannot even express how amazing Anne Marie is. From the minute we got on the phone I felt like I had hit the Jack pot. My wedding photos were so important to me because these photos will be what are passed down in my family from generation to generation. I wanted the best and I found her. Not only did she take jaw dropping photos of the groom and I but she really captured the decor, my family etc. She also helped me every step of my day. She spent time with me on the phone planning my entire itinerary and knew exactly what I wanted and had a plan to execute it. She made me feel so comfortable and handled business. Finding Ann Marie was the best thing to happen to us during our elopement journey. Her photos were breathtaking and more stunning than we could have ever dreamed of. We paid for a photographer but received so much more in return. She is a geographical expert of the Oregon coast. OMG - Ann Marie is amazing and has been really good to us beyond our wedding day. Our engagement photos had different 4 locations and got amazing pictures. She also gave us a complimentary session since we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. We were late on getting sparklers, so she reached out to other coordinators and found them for our sparkler send-off. On our wedding day, her second photographers were both unable to come so the day after our wedding, she gave us an adjusted bill with a refund. She busted her ass on my wedding day making sure that she was everywhere. She also wasn't afraid to interrupt me and send me where she needed. She was helping coordinate with my planner, bustling my dress, making jokes with the groomsmen, and generally making herself an asset. And the photos are amazing!!!! We <3 you Ann Marie!!! Ann Marie produces such quality and beautiful photos! They are not over edited or full of filters. I love her work. She is also very professional about her work and takes it seriously. You get a detailed timeline and consistent communication all the way up to your wedding. I’ll use Ann Marie for family photos in the future.

After the planning and having my wedding, I've come to realize how many talents a photographer must have to be amazing and only one of those talents is photography. Ann Marie is so incredibly talented at all of the skills required: photography, but also at planning, organizing, directing, being personable, and making people comfortable. We had them for our engagement session and our wedding and these pictures will stand the test of time for YEARS TO COME. The quality is beyond beautiful and the moments captured are just perfect. 2021 Update: Another year, another set of photos with Ann Marie! This time it was two anniversary photo sessions (a casual session at Cannon Beach and McMenamins Gearhart hotel, and a dressy/formal session at McMenamin's Edgefield hotel to honor our originally planned wedding venue that was cancelled by COVID) to use up the remaining credit from our original wedding, AND a separate surprise vow renewal session at Edgefield planned by my darling husband! We had soooo much fun working with Ann Marie and now we have a huge stash of incredibly lovely photos that we will treasure for years! Ann Marie and Adam have been wonderful to work with in a difficult time. They were flexible when we had to postpone the original wedding to next year due to COVID, and even managed to fit us in when we decided to go ahead and elope this year. Ann Marie took incredibly gorgeous photos that I've been excited to share and went with the flow for a last minute location change for some extra photos that turned out PHENOMENAL. Ann Marie was amazing every step of the way for our wedding! She offered advice and support for planning details, along with recommendations for vendors. On the day, she was prepared to help with hiccups and kept us moving along efficiently while keeping us all calm. We are not people who typically like being in front of a camera but she made us feel at ease and we can't recommend her enough!

I can't recommend Ann Marie and Adam enough! From our first virtual meeting with Ann Marie, we knew we wanted to choose her as our wedding photographer. She is so warm and accommodating and took time to answer my questions and concerns. She provided plenty of helpful vendor referrals, a very detailed itinerary, and would also check in with us repeatedly in the months leading up to our wedding. You won't have to worry about late responses (or lack thereof) with Ann Marie! On our wedding day, she made sure we stuck to our timelines even when we had family and friends pulling us in different directions. She and Adam were also running around constantly making sure we were hydrated in the mid-80 degree heat. Finally, our photos look amazing and she produced a large preview gallery in less than 24 hours for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We had challenging high noon lighting to work with in late August and she still managed to make everything look stunning. OH MY GOSH!!! PERFECTION!!! Ann Marie is beyond just a wedding photographer. She literally thinks of everything to make your day absolutely perfect. She built an awesome time line that we actually stuck to as well! hahha. She brought bride and groom kits with all of the things you don't think you'll need. She makes sure the bride and groom are taken care of the entire time. Now what we really hired her for ... THE MOST PERFECT WEDDING PHOTOS I COULD EVER DREAM OF. I cannot say enough positive things about Ann Marie and Adam and the way they run their business! Ann Marie is not only one of the most incredible, genuine, and highly organized people I have ever met, but she is truly an unbelievable photographer. Ann and Adam are truly amazing. I cannot recommend them enough! Their photos are true art, and their ability to make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera is inspiring and makes for some INCREDIBLE photos! I wish we could get married again just so we could hang out again! Also Ann and Adam are like a photographer and coordinator all in one! As you can imagine, weddings can be hectic but the two worked so well with my coordinator and they were SO organized. The day and pictures went so smoothly because of them AND I got to eat at my wedding because of Ann! They are all about the couple and making sure they enjoy their day.
