My experience with Mystic creek personally has not be great. I set my date with them 12 months ago and now 3 months before my wedding had to switched venues. I live 8 hours away so...
I specially value good communication and Transparency, which I feel Mystic Creek (Kathy) fell short on. When touring the venue a couple weeks ago, she walked me around showing me where the DJ’s going to set up,where the guest book going to go and I told her that I wasn’t going to do assigned seating seating, which she seemed okay with. We got to the end and she asked if that was it (I felt like she was pushing me out the door), I told her I wanted to sit down and talk about the menu, so we did. Once we sat down she informed me that because of Covid restrictions we couldn’t have a guestbook table, everything had to be assigned seating, we could not have pictures sitting out of us because people make “congregate” around them along with NO DANCING. Which was the last thing I would have taken from the tour because she didn’t mention any of that. Three months out from my wedding day and I’m just hearing about this now? I truly feel like if I would not have sat down and wanted to talk over details I would not known any of this until a couple weeks before my day. The price is right, but not worth working with deceptive people. She even made a comment to me that she didn’t want to say anything to anyone because so much can change (which is true), but that she strongly believes that the no dancing rule, and congregating rule were here to stay through the season. Luckily I was able to get my down payment back because of the current (at the time) restriction of only 10 people allowed at a wedding reception. I understand rules are rules and that people interpret and enforce the rules differently, but I think having open communication, honesty and transparency is important. From day one I have felt as though my business was not valued or wanted at Mystic and I highly recommend skipping this location and working with someone you trust and someone who wants to make your day just as special as you do!
Kathy and her staff helpped made my wedding day magical. I had a wonderful ceremony and reception at mystic creek. I would suggest this venue for any bride to be.
Kathy was excellent! I didn't need a wedding coordinator as she was great at keeping everything on track and on time. My cake arrived falling over and cracking. Kathy and the che...
f fixed it by taking the bottom layer off, since the supports in the bottom layer were broken and nobody noticed a thing. The venue and ceremony site was beautiful.
Looked at lots of venues and choose Mystic Creek. This venue is so different. All glass windows lookout at a beautiful destination wedding feeling. Everyone is very easy to work...
with. The ceremony site we used the gazebo. All guests are brought out via a golf cart. Not that it is a distance to walk but just such a unique way to go to a wedding. The Bride is placed in a Limo golf cart that is covered and her entrance is not viewed to all right until she steps out to walk the aisle. We had many items we brought in for our event and never a problem. Oh and the price was amazing.

, windows all around. It looks out over camp dearborn property so it is all nature outside. They have a beautifully landscaped gazebo on the property. It ended up pouring rain on our wedding day so our ceremony was seamlessly set up in the reception hall instead. It was STILL absolutely wonderful! An awesome plan B!! Thank you Tracy and Mystic Creek for a wonderful experience!

er, Tracy, was such a pleasure to work with. The hall was decorated beautifully as well as the outdoor ceremony site. The whole experience was wonderful. I did not hear one bad comment about the place/staff/food from any of my guests. My guests actually can't stop talking about how great everything was at Mystic. I highly recommend this vendor for any wedding based on the how well EVERYTHING went, and on top of it all, it was very affordable.

they've been to in years. The food was fantastic and I can't imagine any other place having been so kind and helpful. There is not a single thing I could complain about. We got rave reviews from everyone who attended. I would recommend any and everyone to get married there. My husband and I were on a tight budget and we were able to afford it and they worked with us to manage costs. Because of them, I had my dream wedding!
