They keep everyone on the dance floor all night and their energy is infectious. Because they are a fixed line up, the band members are the same every time - meaning they crush harmonies and choreo like none other. They are both incredibly well-rehearsed and an absolute explosion of energy that feed off of the crowd! Peter, the manager and drummer, is delightful to plan with and cares deeply about the outcome of my clients' weddings every time. If you're considering hiring them for your event DO IT. Their voices are incredible! It was like being at a live concert in the front row. We had several guests ask for their business card. We personally love oldies, which we requested and they played a lot of, but they know newer songs too. When I was messaging vendors, it felt like I didn’t know who to trust, and planning a wedding is so stressful! But Peter is so incredibly trustworthy, dependable, all the good things. He addressed every little detail before the wedding including set list, microphones for our vows, timing of songs, etc. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and was so patient. But more importantly, the band itself and their absolutely blew our socks off. We had people up and full on dancing before dinner. It was like our own private concert all night long. We had the time of our lives at our wedding and Peter & the rest of Mystique were a huge part of that. We highly recommend them!! Side note - they learned our first dance song which was super nice. Peter also met with us before and we gave him some songs that we really wanted played during band breaks and he made sure all of them were played. He also provided a PA and played a ceremony playlist that we gave him.

Fast forward to August and Mystique band totally rocked our reception, making our wedding night truly unforgettable! Every single one of our guests, young to old, was on the dance floor for most of the night. So many people have told us our wedding was the best they've been to! Rickey and Whitney both have star-quality voices, and the way they moved around the dance floor and interacted with our guests made the night so fun and memorable for everyone. Many guests were asking Mystique for contact information at the end of the night, and we have already recommended them to every engaged couple we know. Hiring Mystique was easily the best decision we made for our wedding reception.

The band was so much fun and completely rocked it. We have them the liberty to play what they wanted, based on how the crowd was feeling and they nailed it! ingers, Ricky and Whitney are unbelievably fun, talented and interactive. They got everyone on the dance floor. My friends who are incredible musicians were going on about how talented the guitar player was. We've been to many weddings with bands and they were by far the best we've ever seen (and we're not just saying it because it was our wedding). Their dedication is incredible - we had a six hour reception and the keyboardist played our ceremony and cocktail hour as well so they had a long day - even with the length of the day, every single song was on point. Also, Peter, the bandleader, was incredible to work with. We'd booked Mystique in March 2019 for a July 2020 wedding. Due to COVID, we had to postpone to 2021. He was easy to work with and understanding through the postponement, was great about giving us the songs we asked for (including learning a song!), and continuously in planning worked through the timeline with me to make sure our day stayed on track. We can't recommend Mystique highly enough. I am truly so happy we booked with them - they were worth every single penny and then some.

I had previously seen them at my cousins wedding a few years back & the second I heard them perform I looked at my family and said whenever I get married this is the band that will play at my wedding. I’ve seen a numerous amount of DJs and Bands at my friends and family weddings throughout the years and I am telling you no one else compares. My friends and family are still talking about my reception night and weeks have past. They have said over and over that it was by far one of the best weddings they have been to. Guests were coming up to me on the dance floor asking where I had found them! Now, if you are questioning where your money should be spent, I can tell you from experience it’s the entertainment no doubt! This is what your friends and family will remember for a lifetime. No one remembers the flowers or what type of transportation you had, what they do remember is how much fun your wedding was! My videographer, who has seen plenty of weddings even stated that it was one of the best and I can say that is all thanks to Mystique! I even had a bridal party dance for the entrance into the reception and the band nailed the performance with little to no direction other than the song they were performing. The band even learned the parent dance song, which my dad had picked out since the moment I was born. Therefore enhancing such a special moment being able to hear the song live. Even if you have never even heard them play live, you should choose Mystique. I’m a trained dancer and music has always been a significant part of my life therefore it was critical that that I had a band that could match my energy and Whitney & Rickey not only matched it, but exceeded it! I could not thank you all enough for making my wedding night the absolute best night of my life!
