I went here to purchase a tuxedo for my wedding. for $1,650.
After i purchased the suit the employee who helped me called me and told me he was leaving the store to "move on to bigger and better things" which i thought was extremely unprofessional and did not instill confidence that my suit would come out properly.
i made it very clear to NOT reuse my old measurements and he clearly did not listen because i got the suit back and the jacket did not fit me at all.
The manager there, Charlie, kept telling me that is there policy to not give refunds but they also cannot alter the suit to fit me.
I understand not giving refunds for someone who doesn't like what they picked, but this was a faulty product by a negligent employee who did not care about their work and an unhelpful manager and staff.
I have been coming to Mysuit for years and referred many people to them. i would strongly urge anyone who is considering using them to reconsider and go elsewhere.
Update: I asked for a store credit instead of the basically useless suit they made for me and they also refused to do that.
My husband went here to get two custom tuxes for our wedding. A NIGHTMARE experience. The person who measured him completely messed up the measurements. He couldn’t lift his arms up without the possibility of the jacket ripping and it also looked ridiculous on him. They measured him again but said they could only take a little out of the jacket and he most likely will need a whole new suit. They were not able to fix it and he was not able to wear either of them at our wedding. He had to lift me during our first dance and wasn’t able to move his arms. A nightmare experience and they did nothing to help us. 4k down the drain. RUN!!
Where do I begin,
My husband and I got a recommendation to try out mysuit for our wedding suits. We were reluctant at first to start this process in the city, seeing as we are from Long Island and we knew the traveling in and out would be a hassle. We called and I spoke to Mike G. who did everything in his power to accommodate Joe and I with appointment times and questions we had over the phone. We were also concerned with turn around timing, as we were about 8 weeks out from the wedding when we started this process (most custom places told us we were crazy).
Cut to our first appointment. Mike G, the glorious, talented, patient, genius worked with us for quite a while putting together possibilities, getting a sense of our style, and getting to know us so he had a clear picture of what we wanted and what would look good. My husband and I were both struggling with picturing how our suits would come out knowing this was the most important day of our lives. Mike was able to really help us visualize and ASSURED us these would be DYNAMITE.
Cut to the fittings. The patience of Mike G is unheard of, attention to detail is unrivaled and most importantly his passion for his craft is palpable. He spent hours and hours making sure that every inch of our suits were perfect. We got our suits on time, he supported us in not wanting to see each other with separate fitting times, and made sure that every detail, even down to helping us pick tie’s and pocket squares AND pre-tying them to make our wedding day easier, was flawless.
When I put my suit on, I’m sure my husband agrees, I have never in my 32 years of existence on this planet had a garment fit me so beautifully. I felt like a million bucks, and I sure as hell don’t know what a million bucks feels like, but I do now. I felt confident seeing myself AND hearing mike say his signature phrase “MY MANNN” referring to how FLY this suit looked.
If it wasn’t for Mike, I don’t know what we would have done. The experience at mysuit with him, the quick turnaround, and overall experience is something we will never forget. I will be referring everyone and anyone I know to him and mysuit. It was by far and away the best experience I have ever had in a store and that’s saying something considering my 17 years of retail experience.
Do yourself a favor, you want yourself, your husband, your son any male that interacts with you to look INCREDIBLE. Send them to Mike and mysuit, you will NOT regret it.
Mucho love to you Mike!!

Bought my wedding suit from here and Jose helped with each piece of the suit to ensure that I looked great on my wedding day. Received compliments the whole day on how nice the suit looked and how great it fit on me!
Consumers should be aware that this company will charge you for any garment you order even if it screws up the construction of the garment.
They protect themselves by getting you to sign an order that says MySuit does not accept return or provide refunds. This happened to me on two suits and I'm $1100 worse off for the experience.
MySuit gives the impression that they will make a suit to fit you personally. But this doesn't mean that they take the number of measurements necessary to ensure the correct fit in all cases.
They use standardized models of suit sizes and find the one that most closely resembles your body. They then measure arm length, pant leg length, chest, waist and a couple of other measurements. Importantly, they pay no attention to the most critical part of the suit -- how the sleeve needs to fit into the shoulder hole to match how your arm hangs relative to your posture. In my case (and I have pretty normal posture), this omission caused really bad crumpling of material on the shoulder -- rendering my jackets completely unacceptable and a worse fit than "ready to wear" suits bought off the peg.
Admittedly, they do take a lot of trouble to customize minor details -- like the color of the jacket lining, the color of the stitches around button holes, the type of lapel, the number and configuration of buttons, the number of vents and pockets, and so on. But what's the benefit of all of this "embroidery" if the actual suit looks awful when made.
What's worse is that MySuit made little effort to correct the problem. They acknowledged orally that the sleeve was incorrectly sewn into the arm hole and needed to be rotated a 1/4". But they said that this was too expensive to do. They actually said they would have the tailor try to fix it but, two weeks later, the problem was identical. They hadn't fixed it. Oh, and there's no tailor on the premises!!
So, whereas their formula may work for some of their clients and those clients may be very happy, it doesn't work for many of us -- causing major disappointment and considerable financial loss.
Mysuitny is a GEM for butch lesbians wanting to wear a nice suit/tuxedo for their wedding. It is a way for us woman who dress like boys, who aren't shaped like boys... to look as masculine as possible without looking like a little kid in a fat suit. The suits here are custom made, so they fit absolutely perfect! Complimenting your feminine curves and allowing you to feel perfectly comfortable!
