My husband and I got married August 31, 2024 and we chose Naastad Acres to be our venue. It was absolutely beautiful there and we couldn't have asked for a better day. The best perk was that we didn't have to do much decorating because it was already so pretty but they also have some decor there that you can borrow if you'd like. We had our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner out there the previous day and it was such a great time. We loved how everything was spread out enough for people to move around however they pleased. We loved the activities for guests to use and our personal favorite was the use of the fire pit at the end of the night. The on site guest rooms and "hen house" was the cherry on top so that our family and wedding party could stay close was a definite plus. Jo and John were so amazing to work with and they made us feel like family. The bar staff was amazing as well! We highly recommend it for anyone looking for their perfect venue!
If you want an actual wedding weekend instead of just a rushed day, Naastad Acres is the best decision you could ever make! We got married here last summer, and it was the most amazing, fun weekend of our lives.
Being able to have our family and wedding party stay together in such a beautiful place was so special. They have this super cute space for the rehearsal dinner that everyone staying on-site can hang out in all weekend. Honestly, they think of every tiny detail, which made everything so relaxing for us. Plus, the grounds are totally immaculate, and every single corner has this cozy, homey vibe. To top it all off, the fireworks at the end of the night were just beautiful!
The staff here is next-level. Everyone is so sweet and personable—we literally left feeling like they were part of our family.
Just to show you how much our family fell in love with this place: my niece actually got married here a year later! Going back felt exactly like coming home, and my husband and I had the best time catching up and visiting with Jo and John.

Your entire wedding weekend — Friday at 1 PM through Sunday at 11 AM — is yours at Naastad Acres. More than just a few hours, you have time to decorate, rehearse, celebrate and enjoy your wedding without feeling rushed.
Located near Hatton, North Dakota, conveniently between Fargo and Grand Forks, Naastad Acres is a family-owned countryside wedding venue surrounded by mature trees and open prairie.
Centered around our classic little red barn, the property offers beautiful spaces for every part of your celebration. Say “I do” beneath the white pergola, enjoy cocktails and conversation on the spacious courtyard, and celebrate beneath our 40-by-60-foot tent filled with string lights and a chandelier.
Naastad Acres comfortably hosts celebrations of approximately 100 to 450 guests. The property also includes getting-ready spaces, a prep kitchen, a fully licensed venue bar, tables and chairs, and countless locations for beautiful photographs.
Optional on-site lodging allows your closest family and friends to stay together for the weekend. The Elevator sleeps up to 22 guests and includes four bathrooms. The upper-level Barn/Bunkhouse sleeps an additional 10 guests and may be rented together with the Elevator.
At Naastad Acres, you are more than another name on our calendar. We live on the property, personally care about every celebration, and hope each couple leaves feeling like part of our family.
