ch in part to the staff! Venue is also GORGEOUS and the views are amazing!! You won’t regret making this your wedding venue!!
Kudos to the entire Nags Head Golf Links team, especially Private Events Manager / Superhero Liz. My wife and I had initial concerns about planning remotely, and they morphed into ...
major concerns when the pandemic arose. Throughout it all, Liz was THE GLUE who kept things together. She maintained a consistently detailed, responsive, and transparent approach with us. She was also super patient to the million questions thrown her way. After months of planning, she and team created an environment just as we imagined. On the Wedding Day itself, we were honestly blown away by Liz's command, attention to detail, and flat-out hustle. Any couple would be lucky to have her in their corner.
As for the venue, the NHGL clubhouse and surrounding grounds are actually more stunning than the photos show...almost as if they were designed for weddings -- not golf. There are plenty of food and drink options, and the sangria itself is well worth your trip. From a value perspective, we loved the versatility of both indoor / outdoor layouts that could flex for weather and size of guests. For us (and seemingly most others), Mother Nature naturally aids with a dose of heaven-sent Sound breeze and gorgeous sunset. With so many options, you just can't go wrong.
We just got married at Nags Head golf links in October and it was the most magical day. Liz and her team were incredibly wonderful to work with. Liz answered any and all of my que...
stions in a timely fashion and was even willing to make some changes literally the day before the wedding. They set up and broke everything down for us and Liz was always close by when we needed her on the day of. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day and the Nags Head Golf Links team made that all possible. Not to mention the sunset and view are AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was.
This venue is absolutely beautiful!! The views of the river are breathtaking. Liz and Meredith are so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They are super quick to respond to emails...
and really are there to make your dreams come true. I wish I could share pictures of how amazing everything turned out. They take care of everything. They even decorate. All we had to do was drop off all the decorations and they took care of the rest. I was totally at ease with their skills and never once was worried how the reception would look like. I felt like I walked into a dream when I arrived at my reception. Highly recommend this venue.
We just got married at Nags Head Golf Links and it was a truly wonderful experience. After seeing many public beach venues, it was relieving to be at a golf course that was private...
and intimate. Ashley and Taylor were responsive to our many questions and concerns throughout the process, from when we first visited and throughout the wedding night. The venue is stunning and unique- you get to take amazing pictures at sunset and dance on a deck under the stars. Our ceremony on the sound was beautiful and the sunset was breathtaking. The food was fantastic and the chef was able to accommodate various dietary restrictions, from vegan to gluten-free. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to take full advantage of the beauty of the Outer Banks but doesn't want their ceremony to compete with sunbathers on the beach.
