Nahid's Global Events

I highly recommend Nahid! She was my planner for my Indian wedding, which included sangeet, wedding, and reception events. We were supposed to get married in June 2020, and she helped us navigate two Covid-related postponements. She was available to chat with us at any time and fought for our vision. She brought us creative ideas and advised us on the best way to approach vendors + timeline while still letting us have our unique vision. During our wedding weekend, Nahid and her team helped all the events run very smoothly and handled any issues without our input. I can't recommend Nahid enough.

Nahid was the planner for my Indian wedding and she was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I would give her 100 stars if I could! We signed Nahid on for our wedding about 7 months ahead of the event. Unlike most planners you will encounter in your search, Nahid was available for us to contact her whenever we had questions from the time we signed her on. Most contracts you will see only start consultation 1-2 months before the event (depending on the type of contract you get). She was available via phone and email and spent ample time with me at site visits and mock table setups, truly more that what was outlined in her contract. And trust me when I say that those additional months of contact make a big difference. There is nothing worse than signing all the vendor contracts and then have your coordinator/planner come into the picture and you realize you could’ve done better. She also initiated contracts with our vendors that she recommended and it was nice to have her as the main contact person for some of our vendors. She recommended quality and reliable vendors throughout the process. I can truly say that Nahid is professional, experienced, and world class. My parents and I attended most of the in-person meet ups with Nahid together. I have parents that were very particular in their likes/dislikes and Nahid was respectful of their opinions. I loved how Nahid asked me what details were most important to me. She made note of them and ensured they were carried out the day of the wedding. The entire wedding day stayed on time, she was great at this and all my guests commented on how they’ve never seen a wedding so organized and timely. I wanted the day to start at 9:30am and it started at 9:27am. I wanted dancing to start at 10pm and that’s exactly when it started. My guests were shocked and really enjoyed that for once, things happened on time at an Indian wedding. There are few planners who will keep you updated on the timeline during the event and Nahid did just that. I feel like I put so much pressure on Nahid during this event. We had a parting gift that we wanted to be given to most of our guests and she carried it out. I also had disputes with the catering manager at our venue and she ensured that the communication continued to move even if I didn’t want to be the one to directly communicate with him. On the day of the wedding, she ensured my husband and I ate and were resting in the break. The dance floor/DJ closed at midnight and she was there beyond 1am getting all of our supplies back to us in an organized fashion. She does her best to not bother the bride/groom unless necessary. Honestly, Nahid treated my wedding as if it was her own daughter’s wedding and I have great respect for everything she did to make my day special. You will never go wrong choosing Nahid as your wedding planner. She will voice your concerns with vendors and ensure that everything is carried out accordingly.

Nahid helped coordinate our Hindu-American wedding at Wilson Creek Winery. Nahid is very detail oriented and will fight for your vision. She made multiple trips out to the winery to meet our vendors for walk throughs, she recommended great vendors, and she handled everything day of. Nahid is very knowledgable about Indian weddings and was able to guide us through the process and prepare us. She is so thorough with the details that we were able to relax our wedding day. The day of the wedding she handled all of the vendors, the venue and guests. We would highly recommend Nahid.

I will start and end this review with the same comment..."I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAHID AND THE TEAM AND NAHID GLOBAL!" My now wife and I hired Nahid as our coordinator for our fusion wedding that incorporated both the Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies. And I will gladly and loudly admit that it was a perfect event due to Nahid’s guidance before the event, and her and her team’s assistance on the day of. Below are just a few reasons why I recommend this Nahid Global: **Communication - Nahid was not only really responsive to emails and phone calls, but she made herself always available to verbally discuss if needed. In our case, we had numerous questions around the fact we were having a fusion wedding, and how to integrate everything. Nahid was always happy to share her suggestions and opinions which we not only appreciated, but helped tremendously to make our wedding perfect. **Flexibility - As time approached our wedding, there was lots of minor changes to timeline and things related to our vendors. Additionally, as with any large event, there was some hiccups on the day of. However, with the help of Nahid, I did not even know all the things that went on since her and her team handled everything, and somehow made sure everything was just as we wanted. From vendor deliver timelines (to then dealing with delays), to specifics she knew about vendors and their needs (due to her extensive work in the industry), she adapted to the needs of everyone to facilitate a cohesive event. **Great support staff – Nahid is great, no doubt about it. But I can say that she has a great support as well. Her team was always available on the day of for my wife for anything she needed, to directing guests, to coordinating with the vendor and DJ, to getting my wife and I water and food throughout the day. They had considered everything that we didn’t even know we needed until we needed it. They were exceptional. **Attention to Detail – The biggest and strongest attribute to Nahid is her attention to detail. She had everything and everyone on the same page, and as we expected. She knew how everything should be set up and to ensure that everyone knew what to do, and most importantly, that my wife and I were not stressed. And we were not. And as a bonus, she assisted us in getting a refund for a vendor that did not provide services up to par. **Extremely Experienced – Nahid’s experience is extensive. Only after hiring her did I learn of how well known she is in the industry. In our wedding alone, she had known and worked with our officiant, DJ, Florist, and Event Design company. This not only helped with facilitating everything, but she knew how all the vendors worked or their preferences. Also, she was able to give us invaluable suggestions and advice. And most importantly of all, we really didn’t stress at all during the day. She had us reassured prior to the wedding that she had it all under control, and she sure did. The event went off perfectly. I can go on and on, but I think I have made my point. I highly recommend Nahid Global for any future event planning.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced wedding planner, choose her! She patiently guided us through the process and we planned for more than a year! I couldn't be any happier that Nahid was my wedding planner. My wedding was beyond my expectations and how I imagined it to be. Throughout the wedding planning, she's was available at all time through phone calls, and in person whenever necessary. She was extremely organized, helpful, and recommended the best vendors that made my wedding day the way I wanted it to be. I always wanted my wedding pictures to be taken with city view, and she made my dream come true by arranging our pictures at the helipad. She cared about all the things I wanted, even the smallest details!! Nahid planned our wedding at the Hyatt La Jolla, she did an amazing job! we loved all of it, from the help with planning the details to the flawless execution the day of our wedding! We live in the Bay Area, and Nahid was the day planner for my daughter’s destination wedding, at the La Valencia Hotel. From beginning to end, she was there with advice and suggestions for all aspects of the wedding and reception. She coordinated everything with all the vendors, including the minister and the hotel! We brought several items down for the reception, and she set up everything, the ballroom was absolutely gorgeous! She kept everyone on track, so the entire day flowed smoothly. She even handled a couple of glitches, and none of the guests ever knew the difference. I can’t emphasize enough how much time and effort Nahid put into this day, giving my daughter and son-in-law, the wedding of their dreams. We could not have done it without her!!!

Working with Nahid was a flawless experience from start to finish. We started working together about 1 month before my wedding. Whenever we'd meet, she had a checklist of things we needed to go over and was always really organized. She thought about all the details that I hadn't even considered! I felt like she was truly advocating on my behalf when dealing with other vendors I had booked and was able to get them to do things they otherwise wouldn't have. She is extremely well connected in the industry and people love her. She also made great recommendations for other vendors that made our night special. On the day of the wedding, it felt sooo good to trust someone like Nahid to handle business. She came to me with updates and photos and had everything under control. We had a large wedding close to 300 people and I throughly enjoyed my wedding day because of Nahid & her team!

Working with Nahid to plan our wedding remotely from Africa was pleasant. She was very helpful in sourcing vendors and making sure we got the best deals. She did a great job pulling everything together the day of the wedding and making sure all the vendors delivered their best for a seamless and flawless day. She was also very accommodating with our inter-religious and families being involved!

Although she will shine and be at her best under pressure, you can count on her for being in control. Her staff is always there to help and aware of all the details, step-by-step. Here relationships with suppliers and hotel staff are superior to any you have seen. She has excellent complementary suppliers from Florists to Equipment Rentals and Wedding Cake Bakers. Her cultural background makes her the exceptional planner she is. She is well versed with most cultural wedding and customs. At wedding day, you can rest assured that Nahid, her staff, her service providers and her suppliers are on top of all aspects of your wedding and are in control to make sure your wedding day is a very pleasant and memorable day.

We hired Nahid to plan our destination wedding in San Diego and she was an angel! She helped with every aspect of the wedding planning whether or not it was in the contract. Her service and efforts exceeded expectations and were invaluable to both me, my husband and our respective families. I started out researching wedding planners on the internet.  I wanted someone who would be able to encompass my husband and I’s cultural backgrounds and upbringings.  I am half Persian/half American and grew up in the United Arab Emirates.  My husband is Nicaraguan. As soon as I came upon Nahid’s Global Events, I knew Nahid Farhoud was going to be my wedding planner. She understood the importance of honoring ones culture and embracing multiple cultures on ones wedding day.   We set up an interview, my fiancé, my father, mother and I, and met with Nahid.  Nahid was able to establish rapport with us,  she took the time to get to know us all, our vision, thoughts, desires, dreams and concerns.  She won us all over (which is not an easy thing with 4 different personalities at the table).   It was evident Nahid was trustworthy, dependable, creative, embraced our cultures and had a good sense of humor. Nahid was an absolute godsend for me! She got things done! As any bride can imagine there were so many components that needed to be addressed and taken care of that I was completely overwhelmed. Nahid was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding planner. She is experienced, she knows all of the best vendors in the business, and she's SO GOOD at what she does. She was kind and thoughtful when I told her about my vision for my destination wedding at the Loews Coronado, and she worked with me in making sure that it was absolutely perfect- and she made sure we stuck to that vision. She recommended vendors, worked on contracts with them, and thought of other creative ideas that we could include in our wedding (like a nitrogen ice cream station at our pool party which ended up being a hit). She knows so much about Indian weddings (more than either of our families did!) and was able to guide us on things we would even need for the ceremony. At no point did I need to do anything at the wedding- she took over completely and managed her crew and all the vendors. We were all so relaxed during the weekend that we had time to enjoy each and every event (we had 4 big events and not once were we stressed about anything). I had been searching for months for a wedding planner that could understand a wedding that consisted of a fusion of eastern and western culture. Our wedding was planned for month of May, and we only had less than few month to plan for everything...and I mean everything. As we got more into it, we realized that we needed to prepare for our especial day so much earlier. However having Nahid Farhoud as our planner reduced a lot of stress and frustrations. Looking back I believe without her help the process of preparation would have been quit overwhelming or even impossible. As a planner, Nahid was organized, calm, flexible and attentive to our needs. Her suggestions on choosing the best venue/venders that would fit our needs were absolutely helpful. Not only wedding elegance walked us through the preparation process step by step, they also played a superb role on our wedding day that brought the whole piece together so smoothly that our families and us could have not imagined.
