we made for our wedding. I’m the type who has never really had a “vision” for my wedding, wasn’t too interested in many of the details but was planning a wedding with a guest list near 300 people, so I needed a LOT of guidance. Najla stepped in with her wide breadth of experience and guided us through the whole process, assisted with decision making when we got stuck, referenced years and years of planning experience to give us an idea of what’s normal vs. over the top, what’s worth investing more thought/time/money in and what isn’t. She’s well connected and well respected within the event planning community here in Oregon, essentially pays for herself through vendor referral discounts at times, making hiring her all the more worth it. Her calm and professional demeanor makes working with her a breeze, and helped reduce my mountains of wedding-associated anxiety. She’s incredibly organized, has spreadsheets and timelines for everything, and knows how to prioritize the time sensitive items to ensure you’ll get the vendors you really want booked before high time hits and they’re all taken up. On the day of, there were last minute issues that cropped up- problems with the sound system, guests who didn’t RSVP showing up needing meals and seats assigned, etc. but I didn’t feel any of the stress of dealing with that myself, Najla had it all taken care of to the point where I didn’t even know any of that had gone on until the next day. By hiring a planner like Najla, you give yourself and your family the ability to enjoy that big day to the fullest without having to concern yourself with the details of whether things are proceeding as planned or what to do if anything goes wrong. Her passion and enthusiasm were palpable throughout the planning process, and her excitement on the day of the wedding was infectious- it’s hard to find someone who is so genuinely into their work, and that really made her such a joy to work with. I would highly, highly recommend her event planning services.

of the vendor contracts and coordination and knowing that we would have a coordinator at our rehearsal and wedding was a weight off our shoulders. It allowed us and our bridal party and family to truly enjoy the day! During the day of our wedding, co-lead Jocelyn set up our decor and tables beautifully and allowed us to be able to stay in the moment without having to think of what was next.
