I am also bilingual and speak both English and Tagalog, which allows me to connect more personally with a diverse range of clients and their families. I genuinely love what I do. While we chose not to hire a full-service wedding planner because we wanted to experience the process ourselves, we quickly realized that we needed a day-of coordinator to ensure we could fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics or unexpected issues - especially with nearly 175 guests in attendance.
Our family and friends were eager to help and contribute in their own ways, but we needed an experienced, neutral third party who could provide guidance and keep everything running smoothly. We were specifically looking for a coordinator who was familiar with Filipino wedding traditions and cultural elements we wanted to incorporate throughout the ceremony and reception. After researching several options, we came across Najorda Events through a Facebook wedding group. Seeing Tricia Najorda's passion and enthusiasm through her posts and reviews, we immediately felt she was the right fit for us.
What stood out most was Tricia's commitment to communication. From the beginning, she encouraged us to reach out by text or email whenever questions came up, led productive check-in calls, and proactively connected with our vendors before the wedding. From our first conversation through the end of the wedding day, she was exceptionally responsive, organized, and supportive.
During our meetings, Tricia followed up on important details we had not considered ourselves. It is easy to become overwhelmed by the countless moving pieces, and her experience helped us stay focused on what mattered most. We especially appreciated how she respected our vision and ideas while thoughtfully offering recommendations based on her experiences. The timeline she created was extremely helpful, and her guidance and patience alleviated so much stress throughout the planning process.
On the wedding day itself, we are happy to say we were able to be present and enjoy every moment because we knew we were in great hands. Tricia and her team handled the day's logistics with professionalism and care. They took excellent care of our personal belongings and gifts, ensuring everything was safely transported and placed in our hotel room and designated storage areas exactly as requested.
Throughout the day, Tricia kept us on schedule while remaining flexible when adjustments were needed. Her check-ins and thoughtful reminders helped us stay present and make the most of the celebration. It may sound simple, but reminders to drink water, eat, and take a moment to enjoy the day turned out to be invaluable amid the excitement and whirlwind of events.
After the wedding, one of our first reflections was that we could not imagine the day without Tricia and her team. Thank you, Tricia, Sacha, and Brittany for helping make our wedding day so successful and memorable. We highly recommend Najorda Events to any couple looking for a coordination team they can trust to follow through and go above and beyond.

tor for the reception celebration. I first met Tricia at a networking event for entrepreneurs, and the first thing I noticed was her calm demeanor and genuine excitement for us and our event. Working with Tricia honestly felt like working with a trusted friend/auntie who makes sure nothing gets in the way of you enjoying your celebration. She is absolutely the hype woman you want in your corner throughout the wedding process.
Our work together started with a discovery call where I shared our vision for the reception. Tricia took detailed notes and asked thoughtful questions. For my fellow Type A planners: Tricia is amazing because she will take over exactly what you want her to take over. One of the biggest things I learned early on was that you hire Tricia and her team so YOU and your partner can actually enjoy your event and guests instead of stressing the entire time.
She was always responsive, organized, and communicative throughout the process. I could text her questions or updates anytime, and she would always get back to us in a reasonable timeframe. She also helped keep us on track with vendor payments and deadlines.
What stood out most was how much guidance Tricia and her team gave us leading up to the reception. She gave us best practices for organizing décor, seating charts, signage, and name cards so her team could execute our vision smoothly day-of. She also has a great network of trusted vendors — I used two of her recommendations for hair and makeup and had a wonderful experience. Her pricing was very reasonable, and I appreciated that she asked upfront about our budget so she could guide recommendations accordingly.
One of the most unique things about our reception was that we lost our original venue because the company went bankrupt only 3 weeks before the event. I still remember texting Tricia at 10 PM to tell her what happened. She immediately helped calm us down and supported us through the process. Somehow, we secured a new venue within a week, and Tricia and her team were incredibly flexible through all the changes.
We had 107 guests, and throughout the reception Tricia and her team kept everything organized while still making the night feel warm and personal. She genuinely cared about our guests, knew who our VIPs were, and was thoughtful about family dynamics. She was also in constant communication with vendors and subtly gave us updates throughout the night so we felt informed without feeling stressed.
Everyone says you won’t eat at your wedding, and let me tell you — it’s true. We were running on pure adrenaline all night. Thankfully, Tricia and her team constantly reminded us to eat, hydrate, and take moments for ourselves. She even made sure we had food packed up to take home at the end of the night!
Our guests also gave us so many compliments about Tricia and her team. They were warm, attentive, organized, and truly helped the entire night flow smoothly. Tricia even made sure we properly closed out our bill at the end of the reception so there were no loose ends for us to worry about.
By the day of the reception, I truly felt like I could let go and trust her team completely — and that is priceless. Thank you so much, Tricia and Najorda Events, for helping make our reception celebration so special.

r. Initially, my husband and I were going to coordinate the day ourselves since we were planning for a small, intimate wedding with less than 50 guests. Well, it didn't take us long to figure out that we couldn't be coordinators and the bride and groom all at the same time, so I am glad that we ended up looking for some help, and somehow the stars aligned and I found Tricia and Najorda Events from the Bay Area Brides FB group! Tricia is SO organized, detailed, experienced, chill, friendly, reassuring, and fun! She even caught that our caterer did not give us the amount of cupcakes that was our own catering contract, and that a guest was "stealing" mints and approached me discreetly to tell me (don't worry, that guest had the bride's approval to take the mints lol)! Not only did Tricia have our backs, but she also had our guests' backs. One of our guests accidentally fell and busted their knee on the gravel, and Tricia came running with her first aid kit and patched them up. She also respected our venue's time frame and got all of our guests ready and seated for the ceremony, photos, cocktail hour, and reception hall all on time. At the end of the celebrations, her team packed up all of our stuff and loaded it into our vehicles so that we could have an easy exit - nothing was missing. The day seemed effortless for us, all thanks to the huge effort that Tricia and her team put in to make our day even more special. We highly recommend Tricia and Najorda Events for any event planning - you won't regret it!

a day-of coordinator because of our budget and my own lack of knowledge of how much this service might cost. Tricia was easy to contact and quickly scheduled a time to hop on a call with us to discuss her services and was even able to work with our budget. Tricia was an absolute pleasure to work with and although she was hired as our day-of coordinator, we felt like we got so much more because Tricia was there for us the whole way. Leading up to our big day, Tricia met with us online for wedding updates, in person to do a venue walk-through together, and was readily available via text or call to answer questions or offer advice. Tricia had many amazing tips and suggestions for the wedding which we appreciated. She also communicated with all our vendors to share our wedding day timeline. The day before the wedding she coordinated a quick and smooth ceremony rehearsal with us and our wedding party. On the day of the wedding, Tricia and her team (Jusann and Sherylley) were absolutely amazing and fit in with our friends and family so well. Many of our guests told us how kind, professional, and fun Tricia and her team were. I will never forget how her kind reminders of: “You’re the guests of honor!” and “I got you!” put us at ease and allowed us to be worry-free on our big day.
