Nancy Hayes Weddings & Events

9 days before my wedding NancyHayes called me and told me that one of her other brides had rescheduled and she would not be able to do my day-of-coordination. She told me she would get me a back-up planner, which I agreed to because I felt I had no other option. I had interviewed 6 other planners and chose NancyHayes because I thought she was good and her prices were the lowest for what I thought I was getting. I would have spent much more and gone with someone else if I had known what would happen, and the backup I was getting in the end. Worst part is, after the wedding, when I called NancyHayes to give her my feedback on how I thought things went, she was very defensive. I ended up crying on phone and telling her I did not want to continue the conversation if she was going to be combative. She also told me things that her backup planner told her had happened at the wedding, and after talking to all of my guests none of them heard of any of these going-ons. Way to make a bride feel worse when they're already feeling bad! For a situation SHE put me in! We paid her in full, even though our contract was breached, and she never offered to return any of the money, even after hearing how upset I was. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. Pay a little extra, you'll get a lot more!

Nancy Hayes was a great addition to our wedding. I called her about a month out, realizing that I really wanted a Day of Coordinator to help coordinate the reception setup and party. She was wonderful! She stepped in, asking me questions about my overall esthetic, plans, timeline, and vendor info for the reception. She contacted our vendors and setup timelines for their arrival. She helped us to adjust our schedule at the reception to make sure everything go done and ran smoothly. It was so wonderful to be able to fully enjoy our reception and not have to worry about timeline! I loved being able to see all the planning and designing I had done come together so beautifully with help of Nancy Hayes. She was always right there to offer a hand, food, refills on drinks, and to tell me what was coming next. I can't imagine not having her at out wedding now. For coming on board a month before, she really helped us tie loose ends together and solve some last minute issues. She had a very sweet substitute intern to help her to, so I had two sets of extra hands for setup and tear down. She is quick and smart and really knows the wedding business! Thank you Nancy Hayes for all you did for Nic and I!

Nancy Hayes is the best! She is professional, easy to work with, fun, and creative. I am so thankful that she helped me plan my wedding. She is enthusiastic and truly cares about making your big day beautiful and special!
