We truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Nancy and Joell! From our engagement photos all the way through our wedding day, they were absolutely incredible. One of the things we appreciated most was how incredibly flexible and understanding they were. The day of our engagement session, we had an unexpected emergency come up and had to reschedule. They were so understanding and accommodating and made the whole process completely stress-free. We never once felt like we were inconveniencing them, and that meant so much to us. They were both so personable, genuine, and easy to be around. They are the kind of people who make you feel comfortable immediately. They were real and authentic, and it truly felt like we were spending time with friends rather than simply having our pictures taken. That made such a difference, especially on our wedding day when there were already so many emotions and things happening. They were also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They knew exactly how to guide us through posing, where to position us, and how to work with the lighting to get the most beautiful photos possible. Even when we weren’t sure what to do, they made it feel natural and effortless. They captured so many genuine moments and emotions that we will be able to look back on for the rest of our lives. And their turnaround time was absolutely unbelievable! We received our fully edited engagement photos the very next day, and our fully edited wedding gallery was back to us just one week later. Hello! My name is Nancy Zumpano. I have been photographing weddings since 2010. I absolutely love the uniqueness and diversity of each and every wedding! The most amazing part of being a wedding photographer is getting to know our couples. We cannot wait to get to meet you and to learn about your love story! Photography, travel and the Adirondack Mountains are all part of my soul! We love the uniqueness each place holds. We have venues that are near and dear to our hearts and we are always up for traveling to a new place to celebrate our couples! Being a former math teacher has transferred to my business. We are organized, well planned and do our homework! We invest time in learning all that is important to you. Ultimately, the utmost important part of our business is that you treasure your portraits for the rest of your lives! Efficiency is also our priority! We want to create your portraits and then for you to fully enjoy your day. Our portfolios are balanced between stunning portaiture and fun/relaxed, storytelling candids. I have had several opportunities to continue my education studying with top photographers in the country. Most recently I traveled to Tucson, Arizona for an intensive with Roberto Valenzuela, Joel Grimes, Jen Rozenbaum and Pratik Naik. My new learning is always evident in my work and directly impacts my clients. What I love the most in life is people, photography, travel, and adventure! Joell joined our team over 5 years ago after a long career in ministry. As a member of our team, Joell brings her creative eye to each couple's special day in helping to tell their unique story and bringing out the best in everyone involved. She thoroughly enjoys engaging with all, from the youngest to the young of heart. Joell has the ability to see details that others might miss or to see a special moment that she captures in photos assisting Nancy. She enjoys helping couples tell their love story from the very beginning (assisting with engagement sessions), through their wedding day (assisting Nancy & even picking up a camara to take a few shots) to the finale of producing and editing each couple's images to develop their slideshows and portfolio. In addition to being Nancy's assistant, Joell has over 25 years of officiating at wedding ceremonies and continues to maintain her license. She loves to work with couples to make their cermeony uniquely theirs to express a couple's love for each other. She brings with her a toolbox of resources that allows her to create and perform wedding ceremonies that are meaningful for all in attendance, especially the couple. Nancy also made a trip to our venue a few weeks before the wedding to scout out the location with us. Overall she is fantastic to work with and delivers a truly top notch product. My husband and I could not be any happier with the quality of her photography. Not only was she a pleasure to work with but she also provided absolutely incredible shots of our wedding. We will be forever grateful for her ability to capture the moments of our special day and would recommend her 110 percent.

Our engagement photo session was SO helpful for getting comfortable being ourselves, and we were so pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful slideshow & thumb drive of the results to keep. The amount of pre-wedding organization Nancy facilitated made things run very smoothly on the day-of while making sure to capture all the key photos that were important to us. Both her and Joell brought such a positive energy to our wedding. They captured us and all of our guests naturally and beautifully. We could not be happier with our experience!

We had a large wedding party, 10 on each side, our blind dog, and a big family, with lots of guests. They made sure to capture all of our important moments! Our engagement session was fun, too. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We particularly love how they got to know us as individuals, and our love story together, and were very mindful of things that are important to us to use in our shots. The shots came out beautifully and we are thankful to them for helping us create lasting memories!

done a better job. They made sure the wedding party enjoyed themselves and made sure everyone felt comfortable. She kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. We met multiple times beforehand to go over what photos we wanted to ensure we got what we wanted and had plenty of time to enjoy our wedding. She provided a slideshow of some of the photos within a day or two after the wedding, I couldn’t believe it! Our photos are beautiful and something we will cherish forever. If I could recommend Nancy a million times I definitely would!
