Hello! My name is Nancy Zumpano. I have been photographing weddings since 2010. I absolutely love the uniqueness and diversity of each and every wedding! The most amazing part of being a wedding photographer is getting to know our couples. We cannot wait to get to meet you and to learn about your love story! Photography, travel and the Adirondack Mountains are all part of my soul! We love the uniqueness each place holds. We have venues that are near and dear to our hearts and we are always up for traveling to a new place to celebrate our couples! Being a former math teacher has transferred to my business. We are organized, well planned and do our homework! We invest time in learning all that is important to you. Ultimately, the utmost important part of our business is that you treasure your portraits for the rest of your lives! Efficiency is also our priority! We want to create your portraits and then for you to fully enjoy your day. Our portfolios are balanced between stunning portaiture and fun/relaxed, storytelling candids. I have had several opportunities to continue my education studying with top photographers in the country. Most recently I traveled to Tucson, Arizona for an intensive with Roberto Valenzuela, Joel Grimes, Jen Rozenbaum and Pratik Naik. My new learning is always evident in my work and directly impacts my clients. What I love the most in life is people, photography, travel, and adventure! Joell joined our team over 5 years ago after a long career in ministry. As a member of our team, Joell brings her creative eye to each couple's special day in helping to tell their unique story and bringing out the best in everyone involved. She thoroughly enjoys engaging with all, from the youngest to the young of heart. Joell has the ability to see details that others might miss or to see a special moment that she captures in photos assisting Nancy. She enjoys helping couples tell their love story from the very beginning (assisting with engagement sessions), through their wedding day (assisting Nancy & even picking up a camara to take a few shots) to the finale of producing and editing each couple's images to develop their slideshows and portfolio. In addition to being Nancy's assistant, Joell has over 25 years of officiating at wedding ceremonies and continues to maintain her license. She loves to work with couples to make their cermeony uniquely theirs to express a couple's love for each other. She brings with her a toolbox of resources that allows her to create and perform wedding ceremonies that are meaningful for all in attendance, especially the couple. Nancy and Joell were better wedding photographers than we ever could have hoped for! They were communicative and flexible throughout the entire process. We had multiple planning discussions and sessions to make sure all our wishes came true! Amidst everything else that goes into planning a wedding, this was extremely reassuring. On the day of, while they were still flexible, they were also willing to be assertive to ensure everything on our list was captured. I found this very helpful. On top of all that, our pictures are breathtaking! Even weeks later, I'm still obsessed! We cannot thank Nancy and Joell enough!

Nancy went out of her way meeting us at our venue weeks before. We walked the biggest hill and all got a workout just to make sure we had photograph opportunities planned out so we didn't waste time the day of the wedding.
She was patient, kind, attentive she and Joell made sure we had every question answered always responding to my emails, text and calls.
After the wedding the she brought me to tears with their thoughtful little extras delivering our photos.
I highly recommend Nany and Joell If you are looking for a personalized, attentive and caring photographer.

Nancy did an amazing job from the very beginning! She was quick to reply and truly took the time to get to know us and what our vision was. She was able to guide us through what normally is a very stressful process seamlessly and made it fun along the way! Nancy and Joelle were always professional and followed the outline they helped us to create but were also able to go with the flow and capture moments we very grateful for! Her passion for her craft and the time she puts into her work shines through in her final products! Nancy Zumpano Photography was the best choice for our engagement and wedding photos. Nancy offers a vast range of options for availability, location, prices, and final product print options.
Working with Nancy was so easy - scheduling meetings, locations to shoot, discussing package prices, and enjoying our time working together. It was so important to us to have a photographer with a great sense of humor who could capture moments of us and our families both formally and candidly.
Nancy and her assistant Joell ensured our comfort and eased our stress through the planning process. My family is very large, and Nancy and Joell helped us seamlessly transition between groups. They provided helpful recommendations for making our photos look the most professional as well as locations for the best photos!
We were married at the Apple Orchard Lodge in Vernon. Nancy was very familiar with the venue and other vendors working with us. Following her recommendations ensured that we had the best possible experience and even better final products!

Nancy was an absolutely amazing photographer! She is very detailed and dedicated to getting the best pictures. She really goes out of her way to get to know you and what you want, (including zoom meetings and meeting in person), she did amazing engagement photos for us, and worked with us for 2 days for the wedding capturing great photos of the rehearsal and the wedding day itself. She gives you so much for such a great price! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a photographer to use her. She will immediately put you at ease and make it super easy to get the photos you are looking for!

Nancy did such a wonderful job with our engagement and wedding photos. My now husband and I weren't fully comfortable in front of a camera before meeting up with Nancy but she had us opening up in such a short time. We have amazing photos from the engagement session from exploring a new location that we wouldn't have thought of. The wedding photos are phenomenal and show just how great a day it was. Nancy and Joell went above and beyond to make our day so special and we are so glad to have all of the incredible photos to look back on. I had an excellent experience with Nancy Zumpano photography. They gave me a reasonable and fair price based on my specific wedding photography needs, and had a very thorough meeting with me to discuss how I needed to prepare and what that needed from me. The day of my wedding, Nancy and Joell jumped right in, took great photos of the ceremony, coordinated the large group photo, and family photos. They exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend them for anyone else's wedding photography needs.

Nancy was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met her we knew she was going to nail it.. and she did. She made it her mission to get to know and understand our love story. She incorporated places and things we love in our photos. My husband and I had a huge bridal party (10 girls and 11 boys) and she did an amazing job getting beautiful photos done quickly and effortlessly. She shot beautiful photos and we didn’t miss any of the party!! Our families are also huge !!!! She managed to wrangle each and every family member to get all of the pictures we wanted. Our priorities were her priorities. She also made us a slideshow and my entire family and friends were in tears watching it. It’s been on repeat ever since she sent it to us. Nancy is professional, kind, fun, passionate, and incredibly talented. We were so lucky to have her capture our special day.

I can not express enough how amazing Nancy and Joell were to work with. They went above and beyond anything I expected from a photographer, and by the time our wedding came along they felt like friends. Our photos came out beautifully and I just can not imagine our wedding day with any other photographer. We knew exactly what to expect at every stage, they talked us through how to get the best photos, and even made a trip to plan photo spots at our venue before our big day. Nancy and Joell were absolutely terrific to work with and went above and beyond our greatest expectations. It is clear they are incredibly passionate about photography and want the couple to have the wedding of their dreams. We really appreciated the use of our engagement session to get to know one another prior to the big day. Nancy also made a trip to our venue a few weeks before the wedding to scout out the location with us.
Overall she is fantastic to work with and delivers a truly top notch product. My husband and I could not be any happier with the quality of her photography. Not only was she a pleasure to work with but she also provided absolutely incredible shots of our wedding. We had a great experience working with Nancy Zumpano Photography. From our initial conversations, it was clear that Nancy was very enthusiastic about not producing cookie-cutter photos, but rather photos that reflect what is important to us as a couple. Our engagement photo session was SO helpful for getting comfortable being ourselves, and we were so pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful slideshow & thumb drive of the results to keep.
The amount of pre-wedding organization Nancy facilitated made things run very smoothly on the day-of while making sure to capture all the key photos that were important to us. Nancy and Joell were so wonderful to work with. They were very organized, thorough, patient, and most of all, kind. We truly appreciated their organization thru the use of schedules, printed lists, keeping up with emails/texts, and even having clear directives for us to create beautiful shots. They really went above and beyond on our wedding day. We had a large wedding party, 10 on each side, our blind dog, and a big family, with lots of guests. They made sure to capture all of our important moments! Our engagement session was fun, too. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We particularly love how they got to know us as individuals, and our love story together, and were very mindful of things that are important to us to use in our shots. Nancy was absolutely amazing, she really focuses in on getting to know a couple and giving them what they want out of their special day. She’s super professional but also manages to get you laughing which gives you the absolute best photos possible. During our engagement shoot her attention went into finding the best angles and lighting for our actual wedding day so on the day of, she was fully prepared and already knew exactly where she needed to be. Her focus really is on giving you memories that will be able to look back on for years.

Nancy & Joell were wonderful! They were very professional, kind and creative. We were so rushed trying to get everyone ready in time, they pulled people aside quickly to get special moments on camera. They were very thoughtful and had great ideas. Nancy and her assistant are the best at what they do. They went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was as perfect as it was. I couldn’t have imagined anyone who could have done a better job. They made sure the wedding party enjoyed themselves and made sure everyone felt comfortable. She kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. We met multiple times beforehand to go over what photos we wanted to ensure we got what we wanted and had plenty of time to enjoy our wedding. She provided a slideshow of some of the photos within a day or two after the wedding, I couldn’t believe it! Our photos are beautiful and something we will cherish forever.
