I looked the same from the beginning to the end of my wedding, and it was a long night of dancing! My wedding was in August and it was also so hot! Naomi listens to your requests, and executes it perfectly. Despite having personal things going on, Naomi always made me and my girls feel like the priority and I will forever be thankful to her dedication! Angela - Again, hair DID NOT MOVE! She pays attention to every detail, curl, pin, etc. in inspiration photos. Her time management is impeccable. She knows how to handle all types of hair and gives specific instructions to guarantee the hair will last. In addition to her skills, she is so genuine and professional. She ensures the client is happy with the outcome! I will always recommend Naomi Martinez Studio for anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup! Prices are affordable compared to what I saw during my research, and the work is flawless!

Naomi and Angela are truly miracle workers. I got married on a humid day in July, and had 11 girls get hair and makeup done by them. Come 4am all of our hair and makeup was still stunning, and a few of the girls even slept with it on and woke up looking like they just got it done! They were so fun to work with and super fast as well! I was shocked to have 11 girls done in less than 6 hours. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Naomi and Angela couldn’t have been more professional. They were early the morning of the wedding and were amazing to work with. They were able to get through my large bridal party in plenty of time and they were respectful about keeping things nice and clean while we got ready at my home. I would highly recommend both of them!

Janice (makeup) and Tonya (hair) from Naomi Salon came to my parent's house where we were getting ready morning of the wedding. We had such a lovely morning with them doing our glam! Myself, my bridal party (7), my mom, and my mother-in-law all got our hair and makeup done (10 women total) and we did not feel rushed at all. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and it lasted all night! We were so impressed with Tonya, each bridesmaid wanted a different hair style and every time she finished a girl's hair it always looked exactly like their example photo! Janice personalized each girls makeup based on their complexion and what they were hoping to get, she made everyone look unique yet cohesive as a group. I would recommend to everyone, and would definitely use them again for an event!

I don’t have any negatives to say about Naomi & Angela. They were easy to work with, easily reachable, & very flexible. They had my girls & me ready for photos and the ceremony with ease. The make up & hair were flawless. My only regret is that I will never again be as pretty as I was on my wedding day thanks to Naomi & Angela, I wish they could style me everyday!

Naomi and Angela were my hair and makeup team for 7 women and myself. They were very efficient with time, we were done within the 4 hours of estimated time. Everyone looked flawless. My trials went well, I had one note about my eyebrows and Naomi fixed that for my wedding day.

My husband and I got married in June 2023 at Saybrook Point, I worked with Naomi for my makeup and Angela for my hair. I do not wear much makeup regularly, so I wanted to go for more of a natural look. Naomi truly made me feel and look my best on my wedding day. She knew exactly what I wanted, and made me feel so beautiful. I loved how she set the look so that it lasted all day. All of my bridal party, as well as my mom and my mother-in-law also felt and looked so beautiful as well. She is truly an artist and is amazing at what she does. Angela did our hair, and she also is extremely talented. We all had inspiration pictures of what we wanted our hair to look like, and she was able to bring all of our visions to life! She also helped all of us to look and feel our absolute best on my big day. She has so much passion for what she does, and it truly shines through her work. They are both so professional and efficient with her work. There were a total of 10 of us getting hair and makeup done, and they finished everyone in just about 6 hours! Truly impressive! Naomi and Angela make a wonderful team, and I would 100% recommend them to any future bride, they are a dream to work with!

I used Naomi and Angela for my early September wedding and I could not have asked for a better experience. They were extremely professional, efficient and friendly. Had such a pleasant experience working with Naomi and Angela. I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. Naomi understood exactly what I was looking for. When I went in for the trial I thought I wanted a natural look but after thinking about it I wanted a full glam moment. And she sure did deliver. I have never felt more beautiful. The airbrush makeup stayed on all night and even into the morning. My hair by Angela was exactly the dream I wanted. A boho look, but also keeping it timeless and structured. My hair did not move at all, Even through all the dancing. They were both a pleasure to work with and it was easy to communicate with them both during the planning process. Naomi was amazing ! She did a beautiful job with my trial and all of my bridesmaids. She did 13 ladies by herself! We got so many compliments from our wedding guests! The makeup stayed for over 24 hours!

I used Salon Naomi for hair and makeup for my May wedding for myself and my bridal party. My stylists Angela (hair) and Janice (makeup) were phenomenal! We talked about options during my trial to figure out what would work best for me and my party. My day of look lasted ALL. DAY. My hair and makeup did not fall and looked perfect until I went to bed 14+ hrs later. Can’t recommend their traveling stylists enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Naomi and Chantelle who were able to glam up my entire bride squad! I reached out in 2021 to confirm availability for my wedding in 2022 and was contacted the SAME day to book. My trial was done in the summer of 2022 and was fun, smooth, and FAST! Naomi and Chantelle put their hearts into everything they do and are receptive to changes, feedback, and do not shy away from answering questions. I had 12 bridesmaids and 11 of them got their makeup done on my wedding day, in addition to my mom, MIL, and aunt. Naomi and Chantelle had us all done on time and ready to get on our shuttle feeling beautiful in our own skin. The energy was relaxed, calm, and free, even with so many different personalities, skin types, and hairstyles. Each and every one of my girls was so pleased with the way everything turned out - they are STILL talking about it! You will not regret booking with Naomi's team for your special day. Not only will you feel like yourself, but you will feel radiant, beautiful, and like a BRIDE!!

I would like to start off by saying that Janice and Tonya who did my hair and make up the day of my wedding were absolutely amazing. They were timely, communicated well, and attentive. They listened to what everyone wanted and followed through and the results were beautiful. They would receive 5 stars. However, the company itself I would give 1 star to. The owner Naomi was very hard to work with and unprofessional. Out of all my vendors, Naomi gave me the most stress. When I would reach out to Naomi she would not respond to my calls, messages, and voicemails for about 3 weeks! Even my day of coordinator tried to reach out and could not get in touch with her which she was shocked by. Naomi didn't apologize and just stated that she was busy along with other excuses. As a bride who already has enough stress, a vendor who is not responsive and makes you chase them to get a simple response is not someone I would recommend working with.

Naomi and Tonya were so special to work with. We planned our wedding cross-country, so all of our planning was over the phone and by email. Naomi did my make-up and Tonya did my hair. Both of them were so responsive and knowledgeable and listened to what I hoped for. They traveled on site to the venue and were prompt, professional, so lovely, and special to work with. The make-up for myself and my wedding party were so gorgeous, both in-person and in photos! My hair turned out even better than I imagined. I was nearly brought to tears to see how gorgeous they did my Mother and sister's hair and make-up. They helped us feel so beautiful on a most special day. I highly recommend Naomi's salon, and particularly Naomi as a wedding make-up artist, and Tonya as a hair stylist.

Naomi and Angela are the absolute best and you will not regret booking them!! I just got married this past Saturday and had the most amazing wedding day, much of which I attribute to these amazing ladies. They completed the hair and makeup for me and 8 girls in an insanely timely fashion and were not a minute later than what they promised (I had a first look and bridal party photos before our ceremony). Each and every one of my girls loved their hair and makeup. All of the bridesmaids looked like absolute supermodels! My hair and makeup not only brought me to tears but also my fiancé. They truly made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt and so far my pictures have turned out absolutely stunning. I also hired Naomi and Angela to stay after our first look for touch ups and they quickly transformed us all again to be ceremony ready within minutes. I had the BEST experience with Salon Naomi for my wedding! I cant recommend them enough! From booking to postponing (Covid) to the day of our wedding, they were so kind, responsive to emails and amazingly talented. Tonya was our hair stylist and literally read my mind with what I wanted for my hair. Janice was our makeup artist and had all of us looking so naturally beautiful! A month later my mom is still talking about how obsessed she was with her hair and makeup!

Naomi did an AMAZING job on the makeup for myself & my bridesmaids this weekend. She is an absolute sweetheart who is incredibly talented. We fully trusted her to complete her makeup how she thought it would look best -- and we all looked flawless! I really wanted to work with Naomi for my wedding in October. My friend has used her for her wedding and her staff did a nice job with hair and makeup. I had reached out to her 3 times (on her website and twice on her Instagram) to try and get a contract going. I got a vague response and then eventually nothing. I finally called and left a message with her salon- no call back. Was even willing to sign without a trial but she lost my business due to poor customer service.

Naomi and Angela were absolutely awesome! They are a great team. I first met them for my makeup and hair trial. I had some vision of what I was looking for and both my hair and makeup came out beautifully. It got me so excited for the big day. On wedding day they got myself, my bridal party of 7 and my mom all ready. They traveled to the location we were getting ready at which made it so easy for us to all get ready together. Everyone was so pleased with how their hair and makeup came out. And personally, you both made me feel so special for my big day! It was totally the natural look I was hoping for. Also getting ready that morning ran so smoothly thanks to you both!! They kept everyone on schedule with hair and makeup and it was such a relaxing and fun morning getting ready! I can’t thank you both enough. Would highly recommend them!

Overall, Naomis reviews were glowing though I regret not heeding many of the 1 star reviews. Naomi informed me they only had one more opening for my wedding day and they might not be available if I wait to book. I made the mistake of letting myself be pressured into booking the services without a trial. I had my trial in February. When checking in, I was told multiple times I had arrived at the wrong time for my appointment until I showed my email confirming the correct time. I started both appointments by showing photos of what I wanted. During my make up trial with Janet, I was disappointed that I had false lashes applied without mascara on my natural lashes and thick eyeliner, which looked poorly blended. I asked to have my brows filled in, and Janet responded that she assumed I didn’t want them filled in and then proceeded to tell me I should get my brows done because I had ”a lot of stray hairs.” I had my brows waxed the week before. For lipstick, I asked for a nude-pink color. I was shown a bright pink color. When I asked for a more nude pink option, I was told, “you said pink. Now you’re saying nude. What do you want?” I tried to explain I wanted a blend of pink-nude and felt shamed when explaining. For my hair trial, I was assigned Tonya. I specifically asked for a half up- half down style with a braid from my temple to the back of my head. The first style, Tonya disregarded my request and only brushed my hair half back. When I clarified my vision, I felt I received an attitude. The braids were small and did not reflect the photos I shared. I also asked for large loose waves and was told multiple times that my hair would not hold large curls though the curling iron used head small. When I asked to add a part, Tonya responded that we tried it my way and now we would “try it her way.” I felt even more uncomfortable during my trial witnessing Naiomi tell a client she was asking for a different service than the client booked. With clarification, Naomi acknowledged the front desk person made a mistake and tried to have the client return later despite booking her appointment at a specific time for a professional photo shoot. I cried when I got home from the trial because of how unhappy I was with the trial and my experience. I called Salon Naomi to cancel services two months before my wedding. I left a message with the answering service and did not receive a call back. I sent an email the next day and received an email from Janet expressing her condolences about my canceled wedding— I was not cancelling my wedding just the services but no one tried to speak with me to clarify. I assumed Janet was aware until I received an email from her a month and a half later saying I would lose my deposit as well as be charged an additional $200 fee. I asked if this could be waived as I was already sacrificing my deposit and giving them enough notice to rebook with another client. Naomis response was that I could speak with her lawyer as Janet and Tonya were unable to rebook. My wedding came and went. I was later surprised to learn that Tonya and Janet had in fact rebooked for another wedding that same day in spite of what Naomi had informed me. Tonya posted about working that day on Instagram and I also confirmed on the brides wedding website her wedding was in fact the same day as mine. I am disappointed they never spoke to me about canceling and charged me for a deposit, trial, and $200 cancellation fee despite rebooking.

I had the best experience with Naomi and Angela for hair and makeup on my wedding day! They arrived exactly on time the morning of my wedding and were able to do hair and makeup for 7-8 of us within a few hours. They work quickly without sacrificing quality. They also bring a very calming presence which I appreciated the morning of. I couldn't have been more pleased with how many hair and makeup turned out! And it lasted all day with very little touch ups. And same with my bridal party! No one looked liked they had a ton of makeup on and everyone's hair stayed in all night. I would recommend them to any bride looking for hair and makeup!

Naomi & Chantelle were BEYOND AMAZING! From the minute I booked with them, to having to push the wedding a year due to covid. Adding and removing people for hair and makeup up until the week of the wedding and never once did either of them make it difficult. After the trial; with both women I couldn’t wait until the wedding day since they did such an amazing job but they really outdid themselves the day of! They gracefully did 9 bridesmaids, mother of bride & groom, two flower girls and myself with time to spare. Everyone in my wedding party was in awe; over a month later and my girls are still raving about these ladies! I can’t thank you both enough for being so phenomenal. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone & everyone!

Right when I got engaged I knew that I wanted Janice and Tonya to do my hair and make up! I met them through some of my other friends when they were getting married so I was excited to hire them for my big day. They were both amazing people to work with, flawless in their work, so friendly and kind, and I highly recommend them!! Due to covid pushing out my wedding Janice wasn't available for my new wedding date, instead Naomi said that she would do my make up. Even though I was very grateful for her stepping in...I found that working with her was incredibly difficult. She would never respond to my phone calls or emails. I tried to be as communicative as possible and weeks would go by without a response. I understand if this was a one time thing, but it wasn't. Tonya was always getting back to me in a timely manner and was always willing to work with me!! Then, the day of, Naomi showed up with such an attitude. She treated me as if I was a complete annoyance. I have never felt so much bad/negative energy from one person. She added so much stress to my day which was completely unnecessary. She was rushing all of us girls, talked about money and about how busy she was with other weddings (in a negative way). I was paying a LOT of money for her service, besides all the other costs that go into a wedding, and I just found her to be extremely rude and completely unprofessional. She was even counting tip in front of us! Then, she was training a new girl who wasn't any better. When Naomi left, the girl stayed behind because she was going to do touch ups for all of us. Next thing I know, she's packing up to go without doing touch ups??? She just left! I was told she was staying until 12-12:30 and it was only 10:30. I did not let her ruin my day, but honestly I was completely frustrated with her. I expect that the owner would act nicer and would be better about communication. My advice is to stick with Tonya for hair and Janice for make-up.

I could not recommend Naomi (makeup) and Angela (hair) any more! No only did they make each and every one of my bridesmaids drop dead gorgeous and make me feel like a million dollars - but they are also the definition of grace under pressure. We accidentally set off the fire alarm in my venue and had to evacuate - so we started hair and makeup about 30 minutes behind schedule. They never panicked, they never rushed, and they even STILL finished EARLY! EARLY! Which gave me more time for pictures and and everything else. They are fun to be around, easy going, and do the highest quality work for a very reasonable price!

I hired Naomi (makeup) and Angela (hair) for my wedding this past weekend and I only have amazing things to say about them. From a business perspective, they were fast, efficient, on time, communicative, met industry standard for cost, and made things really easy. I just needed to be in my bridal suite with my ladies on time. They were done early which made being ready for the photographer stress free. As far as quality of work, I have never felt more beautiful. Angela did my hair and while she was fast, it was just so beautifully done. Even better, it was secure. I was able to rock the dancefloor all night and it was still firmly in place (despite being a loose/romantic look). Naomi has all the magic tricks in her bag to make sure that the way you look when she's done with you is how you look hours later. I'm a heavy sweater and there was absolutely no shine to my face. I literally looked flawless. If you're CT based (or not...I hear they travel) you should 100% book them!

At first I was hesitant time-wise if it would be possible to get all of the girls done but the two of them were absolutely amazing and finished earlier than expected resulting in the highest quality of work. They glammed my girls and myself to the absolute fullest and everyone looked beautiful. My bridal party had been in many weddings prior to mine and everyone agreed they were the BEST hair and makeup artists by far. Where do I even begin with Naomi Martinez Salon… I met Naomi and Angela (hair) back in 2018 when I was a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding. I am 2+ hours away in New York but with how immaculate my hair and makeup came out, I knew I would have them do my wedding one day. Fast forward 2 years later and I’m engaged. During the pandemic, finding hair and makeup vendors was near impossible due to businesses being closed. I reached out to Naomi and Angela and they remembered exactly who I was, and we signed a contract immediately. I just have to say, not having to worry a SPECK about how my bridesmaid's and my hair and makeup would turn out, was colossal in wedding planning. There are no words to describe how talented Naomi and Angela are. I should preface by saying, I had myself, 12 bridesmaids, my mother, and my aunt all getting hair and makeup done – 15 people!!! I had a 1:00pm ceremony and they finished with more than enough time. They traveled all the way to New Jersey to work with my bridal party and me. I always anticipated being sick with anxiety the morning of my wedding, but it was the calmest I had felt in months – all thanks to their organization, diligence, and genuine care for me to be nothing but relaxed the entire morning. The work Naomi and Angela do is indescribable. I had a very diverse bridal party: thick hair, African American, wigs, sensitive skin, fine hair, hair extensions, curly hair… they did it all – effortlessly. I cried when I saw my finished hair for the first time and my makeup made me absolutely speechless, truly beyond flawless. Not to mention, everyone and myself's hair and makeup stayed the ENTIRE day and night. Naomi stuck around until we all left for the ceremony for touch ups and provided me with my own lipstick, oil pads, and extra eyelashes. They are the best vendor I went with and I would hire them again and again – my friends have already decided they will also hire them for their weddings! I am so thankful to have crossed paths with Naomi and Angela… life really does come full circle and they truly made my wedding everything and more. They make you feel beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside as well. Their #1 goal is for you to be happy and relaxed and that means absolutely everything to me. I can’t wait to work with them again!! Thank you for everything and more, Naomi and Angela. Love you both!!!

I Venmo' d the owner Naomi Martinez 295.00 in June, 2020 for hair for my daughter's wedding. My daughter also hired her for hair and makeup. The wedding was to be in Sept. 2020 but due to the Pandemic it was moved to Feb. 14, 2021...Valentine's day. Naomi moved the date as she was not booked. To be thankful, I supported her business by purchasing ionized acidic water she makes and claims is sanitizer that kills 99% of all germs and could be used on any surface including your face & it sanitizes everything. She also claimed she was sending them to nurses at Yale (see pic.). So I thought that it was the real deal. I paid her cash through Venmo for all transactions. My daughter's fiancé had a change of heart in Nov & left her. She asked me to deal with all the fallout as she just couldn't and as a Mom my heart hurts for her. I contacted everyone... the venue, the band, the photographer, the florist, the caterer and all were so amazing and returned her deposits due to the sad situation. They were all heart broken for her. Naomi never responded to any of my emails, texts or instant messages. My daughter also tried and nothing. I finally got a text from her the other day "Hello, We had a death in the family so it's been a difficult month for us planning due the funeral etc. So I have been behind on messages. We certainly don't make anything difficult for our Brides but I don't remember receiving a message from you or her. We will process the refund on Feb. 1" I felt horrible and responded "I am sorry for your loss. Thank you, and I will let my daughter know we should expect our refunds on the 1st thank you" We never heard from her again... I reminded her again yesterday by sending a text saying "FYI, we never got our refunds". Her Response, "Hello she never provided me with a credit card. Since the retainer she was made through Venmo. She can call me directly" I was so confused, as businesses always refund someone in the same manner in which they paid. We went back and forth via texts, I finally said "please don't contact me again" as it just wasn't worth it. I then got this text from her... "this is why we deal with brides directly and not their mothers. Our brides are adults, and as a business owner dealing with them we expect them to behave themselves in a mature way... We transferred her wedding date without charging her a cancellation fee for the original wedding date...If your daughter wants a refund she needs to provide me with a credit card information, and I will make her sign a waiver before I release the funds. You are not our client, she is. I need to do the refund on your credit card information that has her information not yours. You at as a business owner should understand that." She was nasty & rude, & in my opinion its odd she requested payment through Venmo (cash) and then wants to refund on a credit card. I took the high road & texted her "refund me or don't, it's your choice to either do the right thing or not, but don't contact me again". One of the most important things to me in life is kindness. Naomi is someone I would never interact with again. I am out 295.00 for services not rendered. This is not someone I would recommend hiring because she is rude and just not a kind person. I am sure she is talented but to me on the most important day of someone's life they would want kindness and a stress free environment.

Naomi and Angela were absolutely wonderful on my wedding day. Naomi was insanely Kind and helpful during this process. She did not let me leave the chair until it was absolutely perfect. She was accommodating and was nothing short of amazing. My hair and makeup stayed perfect the entire evening.. even after sweating and dancing for 4 hours. I would recommend her to any future bride

Naomi did the makeup and Angela the hair for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding. They were both wonderful to work with specially during this difficult time with Covid and all the restrictions. They arrived right on time at the hotel suite and did an incredible job. Myself and all the girls were so impressed and felt beautiful for the wedding! The makeup lasted despite the mask wearing and hair. I would recommend them to anyone. They were able to get us done timely and were able to achieve every look each girl was going for. Very professional and great ladies to work with through the entire process. So thankful for them.

Naomi is an artist in what she does! She made my daughter look absolutely radiant on her wedding day. She came to our house and did the make up for the bridal party, mother of the bride, mother of the groom and the bride. It was just perfect for every single lady! It looked natural, yet glamorous. Just perfect! and she was a delight to work with and have around the day of the wedding as we all got ready. Her team is just fantastic. We had Tonya work on all the ladies' hair and again, she did a fantastic job! If you want to hire a professional team to do hair and make up on your special wedding day, you need to hire Naomi and her team! You will be so glad you did!

I was so happy with the Naomi Martinez Studio for my wedding day! I worked with Chantelle for hair and Janet for makeup, and they did a great job putting together an elevated look where I still felt/looked like myself. They also did a fantastic job on hair/makeup for the bridesmaids and mothers - everyone was thrilled with the end-result, and truly enjoyed spending part of the day with Chantelle and Janet.

INCREDIBLE job by Naomi on make-up and Tonya on hair for our entire wedding party and mamas. They were so awesome to work with and so friendly. They truly care about their work and felt like part of the family that day! Cannot wait to use them again. I can’t recommend them more!

My makeup for me wedding was not one star but my experience was horrible. I hired her for hair and makeup for myself and 6 others. 2 bridesmaids decided not to use her for either service after I paid deposits on them though had not signed a contract. I assumed I could use that deposit towards the total. She told me I could only use it for in salon services even though no contract was signed. I had no choice but to agree. She was a half hour late to arrive on my wedding day which then made me 40 minutes late for my first look that my on time husband waited for. This rushed my pictures. She charges one amount for non bride hair and makeup no matter what the person is getting done which was $95 for each though her website stated it was $80 or $85 she said that was an old price. The site needs to be updated. 4 minutes was spent on my grandmothers hair that looked unflattering and she gets her hair done every Saturday and looks good, and another 4 minutes was spent on minimal makeup and paid $190 for this. The hair stylist was 15 minutes early that day and pleasant. My bridesmaid informed me she made a rude comment about her husband. I believe Naomi was upset that she and the other bridesmaid had services done with another salon because she was cold towards both of them when they arrived. 6 months after my wedding I contacted her for in salon service for the deposit I lost. She cancelled one hour before my appointment due to an emergency which I was completely understanding about. I called and left several messages with her answering service for several weeks after my last minute cancellation and never received a call back. I emailed her and finally got an appointment that I did not want after how badly I was treated but was not losing my money that she obviously wanted me to give up on. My spa facial and eye treatment were completely rushed and not as described on the site. I emailed her afterwards and forwarded the services I chose to be sure this is what she did and she said it was though it was not as described whatsoever. She also tried to sell me everything under the sun while I was there. She was more interested in selling me product than my service.
