up and enjoy the day. We were able to bring all decorations to the venue the day before and the people there set it all up for us. The food was delicious and our guests had a wonderful time!

an event center, or even at a private estate…. I wanted a venue that was unique, inviting, and breathtaking. My luck struck, when the wedding date I had wanted, October 6th, 2012, coincidentally became available by a bride who chose to move her date. Napa Valley Country Club and their staff were beyond amazing during the entire course of our wedding planning… I thought I had come up with some unique and differentiating ideas; however, that was before I met Don Guinn!! Together we collaborated on a wedding event that was so legendary, it has officially been named, “The Royal Wedding 2.0!!” Don was responsive, creative, and a consummate professional. He had wonderful ideas that added touches to our wedding that inevitably created a wedding day that can never be replicated. Having our wedding at Napa Valley Country Club, provided us with the opportunity to use many different types of locations… our cocktail area was at sunset in the Grove, our dinner was in the main dining room; which provided a wonderful back drop with the windows lined in tea lights, our dancing, cigar bar, and outdoor lounge, were on the terrace surrounding the main dining area. Guests enjoyed cake in the Club’s bar area while watching a slideshow of myself and my husband. To cap off the night, we had a sparkler exit and taco truck in the front of the Club… I really can not put into words how much I enjoyed working with Don and his team, or how much I loved having my wedding reception at Napa Valley Country Club… They say, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” but in my case, the pictures of our wedding will never do justice to how wonderful it truly was.

The club house has been recently rennovated and is gorgeous, not to mention the huge deck with stunning views so it did not require a lot of extra decoration. We planned our wedding from Chicago so it was perfect to have the food included so we didn't have to find a caterer and coordinate one more thing and on top of that the food was AMAZING! It was also perfect to have a day-of coordinator as part of the package. Don does a wonderful job. He has been doing this for years and knows every detail involved in your big day. He will help you plan your day with military precision but always has this calming presence. It was perfect and we could totally let go and trust him. We loved that we could stay until midnight, somthing you don't find at most winery locations and the price was simply unbeatable. Don is also very focused on getting you what you want and working with you and for you. He helped us customize some menu items and beverage options. One extra special detail is that the bride and groom get to have a champagne toast on the 11th hole of the golf course after the ceremony. It is the highest point on the course and I cannot put into words how beautiful the panoramic view is from there. Our photographers were drooling over themselves and the pictures were fantastic. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

e, we had a taco truck late night and cigar bar on the deck. Also, they allow you to party until midnight (not common in Napa) and they only allow for one wedding per day. You can get married on a beautiful lawn with a very picturesque view and then celebrate in the club house. All of the details have been thought including heating lams on the porch. They were able to do accommodate all of the things we wanted to make our wedding unique. The day ran perfectly and smoothly because of NVCC. The open bar was a full bar instead of one of those small tent bars. The prices were more than fair considering that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. If I had a limitless budget, I would not have changed a thing and NVCC would still be my top choice.
