Choosing Naperville Country club was one of the best decisions my husband and I could have ever made! We toured about 7 different venues in the Chicagoland area before walking into...
Naperville Country Club and knowing that this was our venue. From the very first time we reached out to Brittany and her team, they were nothing but accommodating. Brittany was able to sneak us in for a early evening tour to initially show us the space. Once we had the schedule for our ceremony space (off site), she was able to get our paperwork processed quickly to make sure that we had our date locked down. From there, everything was exceptional. Brittany and her team were also very responsive when it came to any emails or questions we sent her way. We were able to have a private tasting at the event for the official tasting, and the food at the tasting and the day of was absolutely delicious. Leading up to the wedding, Brittany was able to help us with seating plan questions, layout opinions, the order of events for the evening, and coordinating with our vendors. Once I had done the initial introduction between Brittany and the vendors, Brittany coordinated it all and made sure the day went smoothly. A few days before the wedding, we sat down with Brittany to drop off the decorations and walk through our vision. She and her team set up all the decorations exactly how we had pictured! During cocktail hour, we had the ability to go out on the golf course and take some pictures. On the way back to the clubhouse, she had coordinated drinks and appetizers to be waiting for us so we could have a few moments to ourselves before joining back in with our guests. We had a possibility for rain during the reception, and she kept us up to speed on if was actually going to impact our plans or not. I could keep touting the praises of Brittany and her team all day. We would recommend Naperville Country Club to any of our friends looking for a venue for their wedding!
We were really happy with how our reception turned out. We ended up working with a few different coordinators, which kind of made us a feel a lack of overall connection with the ve...
nue. The food was great and the room was setup well. However, they remodeled the cocktail hour area and did not tell us, so the room ended up with a different feel than I thought it was going to have, so I wasn't as thrilled with how my decor turned out in that space. The fireplace is cozy in that area though and it fit everyone comfortably. The best part of booking here was that they were very flexible with changes to our day as we went through the planning process since we booked further out and we never felt bad about having a smaller wedding in the end.
My husband and I looked at over 18 venues in the western Chicago suburbs before selecting Naperville Country Club as our reception venue. It has the capacity to seat around 200 peo...
ple, which was perfect for us. We felt that it was far and away the best value of all the options we considered, with no minimums and a broad range of meal options. A 5 course chicken dish (appetizers, soup, salad, intermezzo, and main course) with a comprehensive bar package of house liquors start around $60 a person. This price included rental of the facility, white linens, mirrors and votives on the tables, so it was very inclusive!
The venue itself is very picturesque, and the ballroom has a private patio (complete with fire pit and the option of s’mores!) overlooking the golf courses. When we arrived after the ceremony, we were escorted around the golf course on a golf cart to take pictures at a scenic bridge while the sun was setting. The grounds are very well maintained and parking is ample for guests. In addition to the main ballroom, there is a large side room and a private lobby with a fireplace which are perfect for the cocktail hour.
Like most country club venues, we booked the reception prior to tasting the food, which made me a little nervous. However, all menu options we sampled at our tasting were incredible, and we were not disappointed on the day of the wedding either. Their chicken and wild rice soup was my personal favorite! They were accommodating for dietary restrictions and modified one of their vegetarian options to be vegan and gluten free, which made meal planning for our guests much easier. We had 3 guests with severe peanut allergies and they were very diligent to keep the entire reception peanut-free, and let us know well in advance about any possible contaminants when we selected the menu. Additionally- the advice I received most often before the wedding itself was to make sure I ate food during the day of the wedding. The banquet manager met us at a side door after we took pictures on the golf course, with our signature cocktail and a serving of appetizers so we could snack before we greeted guests. Additionally, we were served first for every course and had plenty of time to eat, which was wonderful!!!
Working with Dana (Director of Banquets and Member Events) was easy and stress-free! She is extremely detail oriented, and always followed up with emails after all conversations either in person or on the phone. We were allowed to start bringing items to the venue starting Tuesday the week of the wedding, which was convenient. At the end of the night, her staff had all the decor packed quickly and it was loaded in a car just as the last shuttle from the hotel arrived, so none of the guests needed to stay behind to help pick up.
I would highly recommend both Dana Robinson and Naperville Country club for any Chicagoland brides and grooms planning their wedding. Selecting this venue was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
We had our receptin at Naperville Country Club. I would say that they did a very nice job overall. The food was wonderful and the venue beautiful. My only complaint is that the ...
club's party planner was not the best at returning emails and often seemed inconvienanced by me. I felt that after she had received my final payment for the reception she was "done" with me. However, the reception itself went off without a hitch and I received many compliments on the food, drinks, and gorgeous view of the golf course.
I had my wedding at Naperville Country Club and was blown away by the great service and professionalism I received from them. Laura was our coordinator and did whatever she could t...
o make sure we had the best wedding possible. The banquet room is perfect for weddings and there is a very large space in front that has enough room to hold cocktail hour without feeling cramped. We even got to take golf carts out on to the course with our photographer to get some awesome pictures. I highly recommend NCC and loved having my wedding there!
I loved everything about the Naperville Country Club. The food was excellent. We have guests compliment the food a year after the wedding. The setting was perfect. The wedding ...
was the only event at the club that night.;At the time the assistant manager of the club could have been more helpful. However the club has hired a new manager.
