Great DJ, kept the dancefloor entertained all night!
Nashville Party Authority was a great choice for our wedding! They kept our guests and us dancing throughout the entire night. It was also extremely easy to keep in contact with them throughout the wedding planning process.
NPA messed up our songs during the ceremony, played songs that had an audio quality like they were being played from a radio (was muffled) & provided mics that had feedback when used for speeches. I would have ignored these issues if they hadn’t threatened to not show up the day before the wedding because of $150. We booked with them two years in advance, which they gave a discount for but I would not use them again simply because of the stress they put on us hours before our wedding. I don’t recommend them.

I would say that this DJ experience was nothing special. When looking for a DJ we were just looking for the basics. In terms of that, they met the expectation. Communication was a bit challenging leading up to the wedding. We only communicated with someone who worked for NPA ahead of time and didn't have the opportunity to meet with the actual DJs at all before the wedding. At the wedding these were a few instances where things could have been better. Anytime someone was on the microphone during the reception, no one could hear because the music was not turned down first. Overall if you are looking for a basic DJ who can get the job done without breaking the bank, then I would use NPA.

We hired NPA based on the fast communication, fair pricing, and great reviews. Blair (the events coordinator) was an absolute pleasure. His email responses seemed instant. He was very easygoing and professional to work with. About a month prior to the wedding, NPA had given me a proposed reception timeline along with the key moments they would need for the specific songs we wanted. They had also accepted my "must-play" and "do-not" play lists, in addition to any changes we wanted based on the timeline that was provided. We had very specific timestamps of two different songs for the mother-son dance and they accomplished it seamlessly. As for the rest of the wedding songs, there were quite a few hiccups. Instead of playing dinner music, the DJ we had played songs off our must-play list (which was for the party music after cake). I never mentioned it to Blair, so this may have been my wrongdoing. I thought looking at the list, it would have been implied the songs I added were for more of the party-scene. The DJ also said he didn't know the song for our mock send-off, but it was confirmed in the email threads. He did find it and played it very quickly right after it was mentioned. There were also quite a few songs I wanted that never got played that I specified on my "must-play" list. Overall, I would still recommend NPA even though there were some issues. The pricing was very fair and they were extremely reliable which gave me peace of mind throughout the whole planning process!
Nashville Party Authority did an amazing job at our wedding!! Communication with them in the months leading up the wedding was clear and very prompt. They gave us the option of providing our own playlists, which we very much appreciated so that we could have our favorite songs played. Brandon was our DJ, and he did such a great job introducing the various speakers at dinner and pacing everything else the whole night. Highly highly recommend this company!!
NPA was wonderful to work with. Blair was extremely responsive and his communication really put us at ease. Brandon was our DJ and he did an incredible job. Our only regret is that we didn't hire him to DJ longer! Everyone was dancing the entire time, he took my playlist into consideration and was great with MC'ing as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENED. Search no further if you are on the hunt for a DJ for your wedding.
I would highly recommend Nashville Party Authority for your DJ services!!! Their prices are very reasonable!!! Blair was awesome through the whole process! This was my first wedding happening out of state and Blair made it so easy to plan!! We were extremely happy with Blair's service, as well as Preston’s service, at the wedding!!!! I am not sure how we got connected with Blair and Nashville Party Authority, as we are not from TN, but I truly believe that God had a hand in it!!! Blair was so accommodating to my extra requests and through this whole journey he was very present, his response time was immediate, and his experience was very helpful! We have to say that Blair and Preston nailed it!!! Not ONE complaint did we have. Give yourselves a huge pat on the back!!!! We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Blair and Preston!!!! They both did an AMAZING job!! The bride and groom and guests were very happy, and the dance floor was full the entire night!!! Thanks for the wonderful night!
I would highly recommend this DJ company to anyone who is looking for an easy person to communicate with. We ran into a tiny hiccup during our planning process and Blair had it fixed within the day. Brandon was our DJ for the night. He did an absolutely incredible job understanding the vibe we were looking for and playing songs that we would all love. He was nothing but professional and nice throughout the entire night.
Really easy DJ service to work with, they had great communication, customer service, and made our event a fun hit with guests. We initially booked Nashville Party Authority for our wedding in 2021 but had to delay a few days before because we got COVID! We worked with Blair, who accommodated our emergency, helped us to rebook, and kept us involved as the new date approached!
Day of the reception NPA was on time, professional, and fun! The music was great, the reception was awesome, and they were responsive to announcements, changes in event order, and anything else we needed. This is a great DJ service I’d recommend to anyone, we had a small wedding but they made it a blast.
Our DJ from Nashville Party Authority did a great job. He was engaging, but not overly so. He kept the show about the bride and groom. He kept the party rolling, but also was able to gauge the energy of the room and played games when the young folk were needing a dancing break. We were very happy with him.

Brandon was my DJ, but I did a lot of talking to Blair as well when setting things up. Both were awesome and I could not be more thankful for how smoothly everything went with them! Super prompt with everything, answered the phone when I called, getting the timeline set up was a breeze. Would highly recommend!!!!
Brandon was our DJ on our wedding day, and he was a huge reason why everything went smoothly! Blair was an excellent communicator and very friendly. I’m impressed how efficient NPA was on our wedding day, and our guests were on the dance floor all night! I would definitely recommend them to any future newlyweds!

This was the 2nd time we had Kevin as we asked for him again after he DJ'd our middle daughter's wedding reception! He was so good at reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor! Our dj was AMAZING!!!! He did such a good job, I’ve actually had a few people ask for the playlist during cocktail hour. We did not provide specific music to be played during cocktail hour nor the reception and I can tell you we were blown away! Our dj kept the party going all night!! Everyone had a blast and he really knew what type of music to play to keep the dance floor packed! I HIGHLY recommend.
NPA was AWESOME! So easy to communicate with. Our guests had a blast and the dance floor was packed all night. Our DJ was so accommodating to our playlist wants and some guest requests. We truly had so much fun and they kept the party going!
Kevin, our DJ, and Blair, our coordinator, were both AMAZING to work with. Blair helped me build our timeline and made sure we had songs selected for all the most important moments and also allowed me to put in some song requests. They were easily the best/most organized vendor we hired. They were also very accommodating when we needed to move our date due to COVID. Kevin was very nice and professional but also knew how to get the party started. I ended up on the dance floor for almost the whole night which is exactly how I hoped to spend my wedding reception (he also did a great job with the ceremony music). All of this amazing service was also very reasonably priced. I'll be recommending this company (and especially Kevin) for all future couples!
We couldn't have been happier to have Nashville Party Authority as our DJ service! Blair was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process and answered any questions we has almost immediately! We had Brandon as our DJ the day of and he was excellent! He played a great selection of music, was very friendly and helped make the day run so smoothly! Would highly recommend to anyone!

What a freaking party!!! DJing is a lot of pressure to keep the dance floor energetic and moving; they definitely lived up to the pressure! My husband and I were most excited to celebrate and dance with all of our guests and Nashville Party Authority had EVERYONE on the dance floor!
We are so happy we chose Nashville Party Authority to be our wedding DJ! Blair was very attentive during the planning process and answered all of our questions right away. Kevin was our wedding night DJ and he was fantastic. Due to covid restrictions we weren't allowed to have a dance floor but Kevin adapted so well and still played music that we and our guests absolutely loved, going so far as to take requests from our guests as the night went on. We had an amazing experience with Nashville Party Authority, I highly recommend!
Nashville Party Authority definitely lived up to its name. Our DJ played the right songs and accommodated the festivities with the right mix of rock, pop, hip-hop, and slow love songs that characterized our relationship and our party. He was efficient and played our requests first, and was a crucial part of the success that had everyone singing, smiling, dancing, and having a night to remember.
They DJ my wedding last weekend and did an excellent job! There were no screw ups with specific songs for the ceremony and the reception songs were awesome! The DJ also was great with introductions and just being all around funny and making the night memorable!
Our DJ, Kevin, kept everyone moving and grooving! He listened to my wants and needs as a bride (no unedited music prior to 7pm) and if someone requested a song that didn't fit that need, he always checked first. Loved them and would recommend to any and every one!!!
songs didn’t fade in on time half the time so there were awkward moments of silence. DJ said a prayer for the food without asking permission, and would only play half the song people requested and go back to a generic top 50 playlist. Not very enthusiastic either, just kind of stood in the corner and didn’t do a good job of getting people dancing or playing music to get them dancing. overall wouldn’t recommend.

We had the best experience with NPA! They were our DJ for both the ceremony and the reception. They were extremely responsive, professional, and did a wonderful job of selecting music that kept everyone on the dance floor. They made sure to play all of our "must play" songs and steered clear of our "do not play" list. We were so happy we had them be a part of our big day!

We had Nashville Party Authority DJ our wedding and we had a wonderful experience! They took time to sit down with us prior to the wedding to hear about the type of music we desired and helped us with our timeline and song ideas. Communication was great throughout the whole process and our DJ, Keven, did a wonderful job with playing a combination of songs from our list and songs that kept the party going. We had a high quality and professional experience with NPA from start to finish and were so grateful!
We cannot rave enough about Blair and Kevin for helping make our wedding ceremony and reception so special. It was a pleasure to coordinate all the details with Blair. He's incredibly organized and provided honest guidance / feedback when requested too. Kevin brought the vision (and party) to life on the big day. The song selection and the order of events were spot on. Kevin also was a saint when we had a few extra requests and pivots. It was a great time and we have Blair and Kevin to thank for it.

We had Kevin as our DJ and he did the ceremony music and reception music. Our only instructions were to get people moving and dancing for the whole time, and he definitely did that! People have been talking about the DJ and dance floor atmosphere since our wedding.

We attended a wedding that used NPA as their DJ last fall and pretty much knew that's who we wanted at our wedding. Fast forward to last week when we got married, and it confirmed we made the best decision. Kevin, our DJ, had the dance floor filled all night long. There was never an awkward moment where people didn't know the song or the dance floor emptied out, which is amazing. He also did a wonderful job with the ceremony, announcing, and interacting with guests. Truly a great value for the best service! Would highly recommend!
It was great to work with Nashville Party Authority. Meeting ahead of time to go over all of our songs and then being able to send them a suggested song list was a relief. The ceremony and reception music was perfect throughout the night and we danced our butts off!
Blair was great to work with to plan our reception. Our DJ was wonderful. Our ceremony musician did not show up and our DJ seamlessly filled in for our ceremony music. He played great reception music that had the dance floor full all night.

Nashville Party Authority is AMAZING! Booking a DJ was one of the hardest wedding planning decisions we made, because it's the one thing you can't really look at to make a judgement call - and you're trusting someone else to make your reception fun! But NPA was perfect - they were so easy to work with (responsive, understanding, flexible) and our guests has THE BEST time! This is a no brainer - book them!
When our original DJ went MIA just 3 weeks before the wedding we panicked. Thankfully Blair came to the rescue and was able to work with us at the last minute to get our special day covered. The DJ that staffed our event was very sweet, although he seemed intimidated at times to initiate events throughout the night. He went along with a last minute change I requested with no hesitation or attitude. Overall, very pleased with NPA and the staff to make our dream wedding a reality.
We were super disappointed with the music at our wedding. We tried to contact NPA in advance to talk about what kind of music we liked and didn’t like and what we wanted (and didn’t want) played at the reception, but the owner, Blair, insisted his DJs were artists who would “read the room” and had to be free to follow the energy and requests of our party guests. We should have cancelled at that point, but we are artists, too, and they had good reviews online. But heads up, the music was so lame. Eventually all our guests just started making fun of it and dancing anyway and/or making their own requests (many of which the DJ didn’t have). He also didn’t have a cord to connect an iPhone to his speakers when we offered to find the songs people were requesting. I was disappointed. The music at the reception is now a running joke among my friends and family.
I cannot recommend NPA enough! I worked with Blair in the wedding reception planning process, and he was very prompt in responding to my emails and answering any questions that came up. My mom and I met with him to go over the reception timeline, and he was so organized and professional and helped so much in this part of the planning. Nik was our DJ for the reception, and he was wonderful! He played a great mix of music and customized it to our guests (we are Alabama fans, so he surprised us with an impromptu playing of the fight song). I had a BLAST at the reception, and NPA was a huge part of this. I looked at several DJ companies, but I am SO thankful that we chose NPA!!!
These guys were great! We were pretty extensive with our request list, and they managed to check off all the boxes for us. They were even able to cover the last minute song requests from the father of the bride right before the party started.

From the very beginning, Blair was so easy and fun to work with. He was VERY quick to respond to any questions/changes we had. Preston was the DJ at our wedding and was so much fun. He made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Any time I had a request he honored it and made sure to play the type of music we wanted.

Absolutely incredible. NPA was the perfect DJ company to use and took all the stress away of trying to figure out what songs to play at our wedding. Blair explains everything from the beginning of the process to the end in detail, and keeps all the paperwork extremely simple. If I needed another DJ for another event, DEFINITELY would use them again. Our DJ was Nik and he did such an amazing job entertaining our guests and had them dancing until the last song. Could not have asked for a better DJ!
We booked our wedding ceremony and reception with NPA and could not have made a better choice! Our planning meeting with Blair was super easy and his experience in the field certainly puts a stressed bride at ease. Chase was our DJ and he was absolutely fantastic! Even after most of our guests had left, he kept the party going because the wedding party wasn't ready to call it a night. He was very professional but also a lot of fun! The whole evening went smoothly and stayed on schedule with his help. We will certainly turn to NPA for any future DJ needs. I highly recommend NPA!!
Working with Blair leading up to the day was a breeze. He was very flexible with the changes we had. Day-of, Nic was great. He worked well with my day-of-coordinator in the lead up to ceremony and reception. At the reception, he played everything we asked for and was great at reading the room and adjusting music accordingly. We had thought about the DIY DJ route and were so glad we went the Blair and NPA!
Nashville Party Authority made our Wedding a big party! We had two different age ranges at our wedding and the DJ made helped us to dance the night away. From the song list selection, setup, and entertainment factor... I would highly recommend Nashville Party Authority. You get the best at a very reasonable price.
From start to finish I was 100% happy with NPA. They had a great timeline laid out, worked really well with my wedding planner and venue, and most of all made the reception a blast. I would recommend them to anyone. And they were insanely affordable.
We used NPA for our wedding on March 10th, 2018 at ONE at Cannery Row. Since we live in Texas, we based our decision solely on their reviews and we could not be happier. We coordinated with Blair over the phone & through email; he guided us through the itinerary and even acquired specific tracks we had chosen from YouTube for our ceremony songs. We sent them a Do Not Play list and a list of songs we liked, but trusted their judgement overall. Our reception was just one big dance party and so much fun! I wish we could do it all again and just dance all night! Thank you!

He did a great job working with our wedding coordinator to keep our day flowing smoothly. We booked our package with Blair and he was always quick to answer any questions I had. We got a great rate for a DJ. Blair was super professional and super responsive throughout the booking process. Kevin was our DJ, and he did both the ceremony and reception. Everything played exactly how we requested, and he emceed the night smoothly and kept everything on schedule. Most importantly, the dance floor was a hit all night long! Everyone had such a great time!
We used NPA for our wedding reception and were very satisfied with the experience from beginning to end. I reached out to four other DJ's before finding NPA, and the others don't even compare when it comes to professionalism and punctuality. Blair, the owner, is very responsive, transparent, and pleasant. He amended our agreements with lightning speed and helped make suggestions for the flow of events and which songs to play when. I can't say enough good things about him.
Jordan was the DJ for our reception and did a fantastic job. He showed up on time, kept the dance floor hoppin', and dealt with our drunken guests' song requests quite diplomatically. We also leaned on him to make announcements for the first dance, cake cutting, toasts, etc. and keep us on a timeline (we didn't have a wedding planner), and this was no problem for him.
Stop looking and just book Nashville Party Authority. You won't regret it!
Oh. My. Goodness. NPA was absolutely amazing! From the very begin of the whole booking process with Blair to meeting our DJ Josh everything just flowed so well together! Josh did an amazing job mixing old school songs with some of today’s hits and made sure that everyone was on their feet dancing the night away! Josh also did an awesome job communicating/rolling with the punches. Could not have asked for a better experience! Everyone at NPA is just amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a DJ service!
Blair and his team was awesome!! Nik and Daniel were my DJs for my wedding ceremony and reception and they were great. They were so polite and all my guests told me they loved the music that was played. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing a dj, whether it is a wedding or any other event. These guys are top notch.
Overall, absolutely AWESOME. Great prices, great service, great dance party at our wedding. We had NPA recently at our wedding providing reception music and a sound system for our ceremony and we had the best time thanks to them! The DJ, Kevin, did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the tunes going and was prompt in arriving to our ceremony to set up our sound system for our officiant and readers. Blair (the head contact for NPA) was wonderful, professional, and enthusiastic to work with as well.
One star off is because NPA forgot to include our Intelligent Dance Floor Lighting for our reception, which was a huge bummer! NPA does not charge extra for the lighting, but it was listed in our contract and discussed with Blair that we would have it for our reception, and, selfishly, I would have loved to have the Intelligent Dance Floor Lighting.
Irregardless, we highly recommend NPA! Great DJ as an alternative to live music at a wedding reception.

People are STILL talking about how excellent our DJ was at our August 2017 wedding. I absolutely loved having NPA set the tone for our night! They were so charming and hilarious over the MC and they read the feel of the crowd so well. Our party went from 6-10 and at 10pm, we still had TONS of people out on the dance floor. From my 92-year-old grandmother to my 16-year-old cousin, everyone was raging about how fun the DJ was. Hire them, hire them, hire them! And thank you, NPA, for the greatest night!!!!
It was awesome to meet and plan with the DJ team in advance. It gave a very clear understand of the flow of the wedding and how the DJ was going to work with us to keep a flow to the wedding ceremony and reception. We had some rain and so the wedding was slightly delayed....the DJ was so great to entertain the guest while we were waiting for the showers to clear up. ...Was even smart enough to play some songs about sunshine! The guest really felt like he knew what WE wanted to hear! Kept the party ALIVE all night! Kudos for helping to make our wedding a huge success and memorable for all!

Joe did a great job on Saturday with our daughter's wedding at Front Porch Farms! Thank you so much for your help with everything and providing wonderful service. We found NPA to be the best value with their affordable prices and great professionalism. We gave a list of recommended songs and even made last minute changes the day of the wedding and they executed them all perfectly! The DJ did a perfect job announcing us at the beginning of the reception and played great music (including all our requests.) We are so thankful that NPA was there to guide the reception!

I worked with Blair during the planning process and he was always helpful and quick to respond. Josh was the DJ for our wedding today and he was amazing. We gave him a few song requests but for the most part just let him have control and he did a great job. You could tell that he enjoys his work and was having a good time. He was very friendly with us and with our guests as well and was good about checking in with us to help stay on our schedule and also being flexible with changes. NPA provided us with mics and speakers for our ceremony and with music for cocktail hour and the reception. I definitely recommend them!

They were so easy for our day of coordinators to work with, they were on time, setup quickly, and on top of everything. Our dance floor was packed all night just as I had hoped it would be and we have received SO many compliments from guests about our wonderful DJ's. We were more than pleased with their performance & their ability to read the mood of the party. It was great it was to work with Blair and Nashville Party Authority for our daughter's wedding this past weekend at The Hermitage, Cabin by the Spring! Everything was done exactly as we requested and Chase was a such a terrific DJ! He was very nice, professional, easy to work with, and extremely accommodating. Nashville Party Authority helped make this very special night in our daughter's life everything she hoped it would be and we really appreciate it! From my initial contact with Blair about 8 months ago, he was responsive and communicative, always willing to answer my questions. I would DEFINITELY use NPA and Chase again in the future!
I am so pleased with the experience we had with NPA. Blair was extremely responsive to all my questions. I generally had a reply within an hour of my emails. He was extremely helpful figuring out a good schedule. We had Josh as our DJ and wow!!! He was just extremely professional as well as talented. All my guests were more than pleased. He had a very sweet and reassuring way about him. He definitely made sure I was happy. The dance floor was never empty and we shut the place down. The night was more than I ever imagined. I booked NPA well in advance and was very happy with the price. Closer to the wedding, NPA did a great job communicating with me and setting the schedule that worked best for our wedding. Every email was answered promptly. They worked with me and gave be good recommendations on time. The big day, they were on time and set up exactly where we wanted them too. The DJ, Kevin, was FABULOUS. Not only was he too sweet complimenting me right before I walked down the aisle, but he took care of all the details and timeline to a T. Some of my friends wanted to play a game during the reception, I told him my idea and he ran with it! Everyone had a blast. Thanks to Kevin and Blair the wedding was a success!!
Super affordable and well worth every penny!! Blair was great and easy to worth with. Chase was our DJ on the day of and it was fantastic!! We had many guests compliment the music choices and the flow throughout the night was great! Can't say enough good things about NPA!

I found Nashville Party Authority on line for our son's wedding. And I'm so thankful I hired our DJ through them. Blair is excellent in providing advice and he was extremely patient with me. Our DJ was Jordan and he got the party started and kept it going with his excellent selection of music. He was fun and respectful. The bride and groom were very happy as we're all our guests. Nashville Party Authority kept our party going. The power went out before the ceremony, but the DJ definitely made up for it with the dancing once power was restored. Some of the songs we requested were not played, but overall we were both extremely pleased with the day! Thank you Nashville Party Authority!
As the father of the groom I wanted to let you know that your music selection was perfect. The bride and groom (a trumpet player) were elated. I was under the impression that my son had given you suggestions and was quite surprised that other than the traditional dance selections you created the perfect playlist for our son's wedding. The music that was played got us all dancing and even made the photographer comment that "Yesterday was pretty darn awesome and we've never been so tempted to dance at a wedding". Joe was the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception, and he was AWESOME! The song transitions during the ceremony were very smooth, and songs were never just cut-off. Also, everyone loved the music that was played during the reception, and Joe never let the dance floor become dull. Blair was the person I stayed in contact with at Nashville Party Authority, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was always very responsive to my emails and phone calls. He responded to most emails within an hour or two and made last minute song changes a breeze! I highly recommend Nashville Party Authority to anyone!
If you are looking to book a DJ for your wedding...stop looking and let Nashville Party Authority take care of you. They just did my son's wedding reception at Cabana's and it was fabulous. The way they were able to feel the mood of crowd and keep things going were awesome! It even got my 86 year old mother up dancing and she hadn't danced in over 50 years! I rarely post reviews for these type of things but they really deserve a huge shout out. Everyone at the reception commented on how much they enjoyed the evening and the music was such a huge part of that. Thank you!!!!
We loved Nashville Party Authority! They were very prompt, flexible and did a great job with the variety of music we wanted! They were very reasonably priced which Is helpful when on a budget. I would definitely recommend them!
Blair was just fabulous and very helpful with setting up itinerary for the wedding day. I had no idea about timing and order, he helped me with that over the phone and answered any questions I might have had with the timeline of the actual day. The DJ was amazing. He was very accommodating with the music. The poor guy's vehicle broke down on the way, and ended up missing the music for the ceremony, but totally made it up during the reception. He was also kind enough to not take full payment (because I didn't know about it until he said something to me about it, thank goodness for knowing after the fact!). Nashville Party Authority is a great company and they were just fantastic!

Blair was great to work with, very professional and always there to answer questions and offer suggestions. The DJ he sent to do our wedding was very nice and did a great job. Especially since a lot of our guests were not big dancers. He did a great job getting everybody dancing at some point in the night. Great song selections also.
My son and his fiancé chose to have a backyard wedding at our home. A friend of mine who is a wedding planner recommended Nashville Party Authority for DJ services. We couldn't be happier. NPA was the perfect addition to our reception. They were very helpful during the planning process, open to any changes or suggestions and very responsive! They also gave us an itinerary so we knew what to expect throughout the evening. Aaron, the DJ, did a great job keeping the night rolling and getting us to "fun" part as quickly as possible! We loved his music selection and he was very open to requests! He even let us grab the mic and sing along if we wanted to. The kids loved that! Most of all they were very flexible. Our outdoor wedding turned in to an indoor wedding last minute due to weather. Aaron was forced to wait to set up until after the ceremony was over. He got his gear set up quickly and was ready to play in no time. Thank you NPA! We can't wait to use you again!!
From our very first call to the end of the reception, NPA was first class and professional. Jordan was our DJ. He and Blair (owner) patiently worked with us to put together the ceremony and reception we dreamed of. They provided all the necessary equipment, allowed us to use their microphones for our soloists and musicians, and also guided us through what was needed to play a surprise video complete with sound. I highly recommend their services!
