GORGEOUS AND COMFORTABLE! First, the trial was discussion of what I waned and what I was willing to try. It felt not stressed at all and almost like a therapy session. Even afterwards she comforted me in that she could anything I wanted and for the day of, she gave me lots of great suggestions. For the day of, EVERYONE looked amazing. Really liked the look she was able to convey and all the guests complemented how “simply gorgeous” everyone looked. I should’ve have been so stressed! The makeup and hair lasted the ENTIRE DAY and didn’t bother my sensitive skin. Everything was very comfortable to wear and felt very natural-which was exactly what I wanted. All my bridesmaids also loved her and loved her whole experience. You can definitely tell she takes her work very seriously and takes pride in the process as well. Really can’t say enough in how wonderful everything was and how she really earns your trust for your special day!

Natalya did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She also did some family members of mine. Natalya did an absolutely amazing job! Her skills are unmatched. She is kind and patient and super professional. She listens to her clients wants and needs. As the bride, she made sure I was happy throughout every step of the process. She took my pictures and ideas and brought them to life. And her expertise made my visions come true. My wedding was 10 hours and my makeup lasted the whole night. This was the best experience I have ever had. She bot only was so kind but she genuinely cared about how we all felt. She was quick and her work absolutely amazing. I felt great.all night. Let me start by saying that it was rainy and gloomy day. Natalya arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable on the looks we wanted. As the morning went on, a tornado warning was issued and we were extremely hesitant about our hair and makeup lasting at all. Needless to say, driving to the ceremony, attending the ceremony, an outfit change and full reception later and my hair and makeup were fully intact. I received so many compliments and was so thankful that I booked Natalya. I will definitely use her again for any future events.

Natalya was absolutely fantastic from the moment we reached out to her. She was incredibly prompt with her communication and extremely flexible with our needs. She is so warm and welcoming; she truly feels like family. The bridal make-up trial was very intimate at her home. We all hung out and talked while she was working. She used pictures as inspiration and made sure to ask if things were the way the bride envisioned. She also told us the products she was using and explained why as well as gave recommendations for hair jewelry. On the day of the wedding, she was, again, fantastic. We all had great conversations as she did our hair. She did curls, full updo, half up/down with curls, and the bride’s hair/make-up on the day. She even brought hair jewelry for us to borrow to make things even nicer. To top it all off, she took pictures of us while we were getting ready on our own phones. Not only is Natalya a wonderful human, she is excellent at her job. We highly recommend her for all of your hair and make-up needs for your wedding or other special occasion!

We were thrilled with Natasha’s hair and make- up master work. She consulted with us and integrated our ideas with her artistic talent. She has an eye for blending color , as well as an ability to bring out the best of our facial structure with just the right amount of shading, make up, and eyeliner. She also did a beautiful job with our false eyelashes! Our hair was gorgeous as she not only fashioned it, but did an artful weave to hold it loosely in the back. For my daughter-in-law, the bride, she brought fresh orchids and wove them into her hair so that they were visible from behind her veil. ( She then provided us with instructions as to how to remove the veil for the reception ). Natasha was calm, patient, and so supportive- we bonded during our morning before the big ceremony! She also worked with our photographer, making the entire occasion a seamless, memorable, enjoyable event! The results of Natasha’s talents as a hair and make-up artist were very apparent in the photos as well as in the compliments received from the guest! We highly recommend Natasha Diamond for a wedding hair and make up artist !

Natalya is incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. She did my wedding day hair & makeup, 3 bridesmaids hair, my mom and mother in law’s hair & makeup, and last but not least, my daughter’s hair! She listens to your inspo and offers her advice to ensure you look and feel your best on the big day. She was very patient, even when a few things started going sideways with the day of set up (unrelated to hair) and took great care of everyone, including making my 3 year old daughter feel special. Natalya’s prices are very fair, especially compared to what some other places are charging, and you get 5 star quality service.

Natalya is so kind and accommodating. I've asked A LOT of hair and makeup artists and they are way overpriced. Natalya on the other hand is the most affordable (although wedding prices in general is expensive). The suggestion she had for my hair wasn't my plan but it turned out to be so beautiful. I am so happy. The hair and makeup for my entourage too is beautiful-- their beauty is enhanced, not changed. One thing I would like to suggest though- she should use a ring light to see how makeup looks under the light/in the camera so that it looks good not just in person but also in photos. Also, I am Asian and I think she is not so used to doing makeup on Asian face. I had to do a bit of contouring on my face after the session but maybe it is just my preference. Overall I would highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough good things about Natalya and her hair and makeup services! I first met her at her in-home studio for my trial a few weeks before the wedding. She did exactly what I asked for and did a wonderful job. For my wedding day, she came to my house and I changed my mind and decided I wanted curls and she made my hair and makeup look amazing. She and Rebecca also did the hair and makeup for our bridal party including me, the bridesmaids, my mom and a couple of other people. She did such amazing work with everyone’s hair and makeup, really listened to us and did exactly what we wanted. She also gave suggestions when people needed ideas. If you are on the fence about hair and makeup for your wedding day, please don’t hesitate to book Natalya. She does a wonderful job and her prices are very fair, especially for this area. She is great!

Extremely talented, kind, accommodating, fun, flexible, and timely. Natalya came to our hotel room on my wedding day and over the course of a couple hours did hair and makeup for my step mom, my mom, my sister and me (different ages, different personalities). Honestly I can’t say enough good things about Natalya. From the first moment we spoke I was incredibly excited I had found her. We did the trial, and I had zero worry myself and my girls were going to look great. Her attention to detail and her technique is truly hard to find. Her personality is simply incredible and I felt I’ve known her for years. Come wedding day, I was extremely calm and not a worry in the world. She worked through 8 people and by the end of it I felt she was family and I wanted her to stay for the rest of the day. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of service and professionalism by Natalya. Based on the reviews I had high expectations for my trial. THANK GOD I had a trial because I saved myself. Upon arriving there she had issues at home and was visibly upset throughout our visit. While she did my hair without charge it did not look at all similar to pictures I showed her. I am Hispanic, and would need warmer tones. I left looking completely different than my usual complexion, and my face NOT matching my neck. She over powdered my face and brought out all the texture on my skin. As far as my eyes, the eyelashes looked lopsided and there was powder all over them, and she even put eyeliner on my already small eyes which made them look much smaller.. I cannot express how awful I looked. I voiced this to her days later, she disagreed claiming that I looked beautiful and that I wore the make up all day in humidity.. mind you the pics I sent her/posted here were 1hour after leaving my appointment. Everyone please do your research and do your trials.

Natalya is incredible! She was super attentive, professional, and kind from the moment we started talking about what I was looking for with hairstyling for my wedding. I booked a trial a few months before my wedding and she took the time to show me and explain to me what she was doing as she did it so I could really see what the style was like. On the day of my wedding, she traveled to my house about 45 minutes away early in the morning so she could do 6 girls' hair before 11:15 which worked out well. Definitely recommend!

Natalya executed a variety of hair styles among a varied set of hair types for the girls that stayed throughout the entire day/night! Natalya is incredibly professional and wonderful to work with. She did my wedding day hair & makeup; six attendants' hair; and my mom's hair & make-up the morning of my wedding. Natalya listens to your visions and accepts any requested modifications (I wanted a bold lip) with poise. I treated all of my bridesmaids to having their hair done and although it made for an early morning since my husband and I were doing a first look, all the gals absolutely loved their hair. Some of my friends with straight hair even kept their curls the whole night! My mom also looked fabulous with her hair and make-up done. I have thick hair and my biggest concern was that my hair would fall down. Natalya heard me and made sure it was prepared to stay put! Natalya's prices are incredibly fair (especially compared to some of the beauty farming companies), for the very incredibly high quality services you receive. I highly recommend working with her and know that all of my bridesmaids also agree!

Makeup and hair was the part of my wedding I was most worried about, given that I was having essentially a destination wedding. But all my fears went away when I did my trial with Natalya 3 days before my wedding. She was super friendly and professional, gave great pointers and I fell in love with my look. On the day of my wedding, she executed my vision perfectly and even loaned me a hair piece to make my hair extra special. She also did the hair and makeup of two other guests and they look absolutely lovely. Only snafu was that we cried too much and we ran into some lash problems but that was pretty easily remedied!

Natalya was amazing makeup artist! I saw her reviews on The Knot, and after I spoke with her, I knew she would be a phenomenal artist! My makeup looked absolutely stunning for my wedding. I’m a very dark complexioned African American, so trust me when I say im very picky with whom I let do my makeup - because usually it’s hard to get my perfect shade. But Natalya was so talented that she was able to literally pick every makeup application to make a perfect canvas of art for my wedding makeup look. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding.

I was nervous before my trial as I have had slightly negative experiences previously with professional hair & makeup services as a bridesmaid. Natalya was very personable and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process, like I could completely give myself over to her expertise and skills and trust that she would do a fantastic job. She created a beautiful updo for me with gorgeous, intricate braids that was evidently made with love and recreated this look on my wedding day. The style lasted the whole night, even after I danced a ton. She also did awesome and varied updos for my sister, sister-in-law, and mothers. This was also my first experience with false lashes and that went very well! I felt beautiful. Her prices were also very reasonable. She was worth every dollar!

After narrowing down my list to a few hair/makeup artists, I ended up choosing Natalya because of the wonderful reviews about not only her work, but also her calm and kind demeanor. I am so glad that I went with her! She showed up promptly on wedding day and was quick to set up and begin working. I allowed my bridal party to choose their own looks and Natalya handled their hair while Becca did their makeup. Whether they chose old Hollywood or classic styles, each bridesmaid/maid of honor looked stunning. Natalya did both my hair and makeup, and I knew I was in good hands. We ended up changing up my look a little between my trial and my wedding day, but Natalya was so easy and flexible to work with. I was impressed and called her to make an appointment. She was very professional and gave me the necessary information to make a decision on what the outcome would look like. Natalya styled hair for me and my bridesmaids for my recent February wedding! She was fantastic and all of her styles were beautiful! My bridesmaids have a variety of hair types and lengths, from very short to very long, but she handled each of them beautifully. I had several bridesmaids with very short hair say they had never thought they could wear an up-do because of the length of their hair, but they were shocked at how easily and beautifully Natalya made it look! She showed up early on the day of my wedding and was the calming presence that I needed that day. She also explained everything to me before she did anything and ensured I was happy with the results throughout the process. Natalya is a perfectionist and truly an artist - I was thrilled with both my hair and makeup and received endless compliments on my bridal hair and makeup thanks to Natalya.

I would absolutely recommend Natalya. I reached out to Natalya because of the pictures of her work on her website, and her extremely reasonable prices. Natalya responded promptly via phone call and we arranged a time for a trial in her home. She quickly made me feel comfortable and welcome (even letting me choose the music for the duration of the trial), and did a consultation with me to determine what my vision was and how much hair/makeup I normally wear, so that she could do work that I was comfortable with. After the trial, I put a minimal deposit down to secure her for my wedding day. On the week of the wedding, she was very flexible with a change of location. On the wedding day, she came early to set up, and she and her associate did hair for 5 bridesmaids, makeup for a bridesmaid and the mother of the bride, and bridal hair and makeup. The process was very individualized for each person, so that each hair style and makeup was different and worked well for that individual. They were very organized, worked well as a team, and were able to finish exactly on schedule. The work was absolutely beautiful; everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. Natalya even loaned me sparkly hair pins to complete the look. Everyone looked beautiful and confident in photos. Natalya is so sweet and was a highlight of the day. She was an encouraging and calming presence on my wedding day. If you hire her, she will work to exceed expectations!

Natalya was the only negative experience we had with a vendor in planning our wedding. Her reviews looked good and her prices were reasonable, so I thought she would be a good fit. The original plan was to have her do hair and makeup for six of us (bride, bridesmaids, and mothers). I opted to do a paid hair trial at her home out in Gaithersburg, MD, and I'm glad that I did. Her studio was a room in her house which did not feel as professional as going to a salon would have been. She spent the first 20 minutes sitting across from me, interview style, asking about my desired look. During that conversation, she strongly recommended that I try hair extensions, saying that my hair lacked volume, and while I was hesitant to use them, I agreed. She also explained her opinions about appropriate wedding looks and referred to herself an artist. I asked to have my hair down but she insisted that my hair be clipped in some way. I deferred to her judgement. The style was heavily hair sprayed and felt too overdone for my taste. The extensions were unconformable and looked unnatural in my opinion. After the trial, I decided I wanted to go with a simpler hairstyle for my wedding and planned to get a haircut and do a blowout at a salon. I still wanted Natalya to do hair for everyone else and makeup for all of us. I called Natalya to explain what I had in mind and if she was still available. She immediately became rude and patronizing. She told me she had a vision that I didn’t understand and blamed me for only doing a hair trial and not hair and makeup. She told me she was speechless, didn't know what to say, and that I would regret my wedding photos in 20 years if I proceeded with my plan (yes, she actually said that!). She told me she wanted to be proud of her work, implying that she would rather give up $700+ in business because she disagreed with my vision for my wedding. She ended the call by saying “you need to email me with what you decide…and the deadline is tomorrow” and then hung up on me. During that call, I almost cried because I felt so belittled and insulted. I returned Natalya's extensions in the mail. I'm so grateful I did my trial with Natalya and did not decide to hire her on the spot!

To whom may read the note below: this is a vengeful and inaccurate review in most respects...

. Amazing in so much detail intended to cause harm. It is also not my style to give long accounts of conversations in this forum. I will only state the following: (And please read my numerous other reviews - is you read nothing else of this follow up.) 1. My studio is not dark room - It is beautiful space with continuous light on three sides and a dedicated entrance. 2. The very description of me as a "vendor" shows a fundamental disrespect for professionals who provide this service - I am a hair and make-up artist - and always have conversations with clients to explore and whether we have alignment in vision, approach, and the terms of a working relationship. All this wants to be agreed long before a client's wedding day - to make sure it is a wonderful experience in every respect. 3. Though my years of experience, I often make unique recommendations to clients. They are not always followed which is never a reason I would refuse to work, Nor do I always recommend extensions or a similar approach to every client. 4. I held the date for this person's wedding despite numerous changes, other requests, and no contract in place (in courtesy of an scheduled trial). She arrived for her trial with a friend and fiancee - and I received nothing but enthusiastic feed-back for my approach from all. With this style in place, she went on that evening to her bridal shower, where I received texts from her that everyone loved it. It was in the follow up conversations, that involved much more than a choice of style, that we did not agree on terms and schedule for the wedding job, which were constantly changing. I did not hang up on her. In fact, I had invested 4 to five hours with this person discussing details of her wedding, since first contacted. An important aspect in these conversations is the artist's capability to provide first-rate service in the time-frames provided. I pride myself on speed and efficiency, but did have a concern that the proposed time-frame here was insufficient. After the trial, two weeks before the wedding I asked for a proposed schedule - and I told her I would review it for a final approval. (this is simply coming to an agreement - based on my ability to deliver. Unfortunately, I earned her displeasure for this, and found her treatment of me (including this posted review) very dehumanizing. Natalya and her assistant, Lisa, were incredible! She made me very comfortable at my hair and makeup trial, explaining what products she was using and recommending products specific to my skincare needs. I’ve never seen foundation blend so naturally on my skin! On the day of the wedding, Natalya and Lisa actually beat us to our venue to get ready and got through myself, my mom, and my bridesmaids ahead of schedule. Our hair and makeup stayed put well and she is fairly reasonably priced. Although she didn’t do either my hair or makeup exactly like my trial, I still trusted her. I was worried that my makeup on the wedding day was a bit too dark, but she was right that it came out great in the pictures and just took some getting used to since it’s so different than your everyday makeup. She also loaned me a beautiful gold hairpiece that I got so many compliments on!

I am writing a review based on my October 19th, 2019 wedding. Prior to the wedding date, I had a trial run at Natalya's house. She sat down with me to figure out my style and comfort level first and it was a long consultation which I appreciated. I really enjoyed the trial run and I looked very nice. On the wedding day, she showed up early and was all business. Some felt that the makeup was a little rushed but everyone's hair was so beautiful. When it became my turn, she looked a bit tired and my makeup did not go like the trial run. I actually liked the trial run so much better than the actual wedding day makeup. However, my hair was on point. She did previously recommend that I do not go last two when it comes to her services so that I have some time to mingle with people before the wedding. I am thinking maybe I should not have gone last so that she could have spent more time with my makeup. My intention was to go last so that my makeup would stay fresh. I am also Asian so she may not have been accustomed to Asian make up. But everybody complimented on my hair and everyone's hair looked so fantastic. I would say I recommend her for being courteous, nice, professional, and punctual. Overall a pleasant experience and my bridemaids were very happy with their hair too.
