Natasha Lamalle Photography

mentary-style photographs, and we were nervous we would not find a photographer that would listen to us. Natasha did all of that and more - from our engagement session to our wedding, she captured every moment (and even ones we missed out on) with care, style and flair, while also making sure we got the requested formal/family photos. She was a calming presence throughout the day and night, and I would recommend her 10/10 times over!

t the process, she was prompt, communicative, and generally a joy to work with, making herself available to us for phone calls whenever we needed and always quick to reply to emails. On the day of our wedding, Natasha did such a beautiful job documenting every moment, big and small. It was really important to us to be able to enjoy the whole day, and her candid style allowed us to be present while she captured the day. Everything from the tiny details to family formals to amazing action shots on the dance floor turned our better than we could’ve imagined. We will treasure these photos forever and are so grateful that we found someone as amazing as Natasha for our big day. She went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn’t recommend her more highly!

always manages to find the perfect picture that will make you cry, laugh, and then cry again. She has a remarkable eye. If you want to get away from stilted formal shots and remember and celebrate the actual day of your wedding, work with Natasha. She makes the entire wedding process a joy, from the initial meeting with her to the date night she set up for you to view your photos. She also does "slice of life" engagement shoots which can be a fun and casual date night that she captures with her incredible camera. Everyone has been blown away by the quality of the pictures. There is a reason that she is a top world wedding photographer. I trust Natasha completely. If you are not interested in classic boring posed photos, you can do no better than to hire Natasha Lamalle immediately. She is a true artist with a camera. You will fall in love over and over again through her photos.

and insightful throughout all of it. Then, when we already thought we couldn’t get happier with our choice, she blew us out of the water the night of the wedding. She was understanding and was able to make immediate adjustments with rain plans, family drama, and everything in between. Even guests walked away at the end of the night saying “I talked to your photographer for a while and she’s amazing!”. Natasha’s balance of formal portraits and candids lead to some absolutely beautiful pictures, that I’ll be cherishing for many years to come.

and are true representations of how the day felt for us. We often didn't even know we were being photographed. :) At the end of the wedding, Natasha also gave us a few Polaroids that she had taken throughout the day, which was so thoughtful! When we had our planning meeting at her home studio, she also offered to take a few headshots of me for free since I had been recently furloughed, which goes to show you how thoughtful and kind she really is. We'd recommend Natasha to anyone and everyone! Our wedding photos capture the fun, vintage, moody vibe we were going for and I'll be obsessed with them forever!

ately began searching for a photographer who could deliver the wedding experience we were looking for: someone who prioritized capturing raw, genuine emotions over posed photos, who would allow us to spend as much time at our cocktail hour and reception as possible, and who could put us at ease throughout the day. Natasha gave us all that and more. From our first consultation, it became clear that Natasha was exceptionally skilled and creative, and that she possessed an eye for capturing the most minute, ephemeral moments and turning them into incredible art. Over the course of our working relationship, she’s gone above and beyond—from offering to communicate with the venue for our engagement photos on our behalf, sending lovely, thoughtful messages in the lead-up to the big day, and even staying later than her initial booking time to capture post-wedding moments we’ll treasure forever. Also, to our delight, she provided stunning sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after the wedding, allowing us to relive those magical moments almost instantly. I couldn’t wait for her to provide us with our full gallery to write this review—that’s how truly incredible she was as a vendor. If you’re planning a wedding in the broader DMV area and looking for someone who brings a unique, genuine perspective to photography, Natasha is the perfect choice!

photography but was worried that our event and budget was too small for her services. Natasha worked with us for a package that met our needs. On the day of the wedding she made the entire process stress free. She took the time to understand us as a couple so that she could focus on capturing the special moments that we would always want to remember. As an added bonus she even recommended us an amazing florist! I could go on and on, if you are looking for a wedding photographer who will capture what is special and unique about your day definitely reach out to Natasha and you will not regret it!

he time we got to work with you this past year, from our engagement photo shoot at Gathland State Park to our virtual meetings to talk about specifics to the date nights you planned for us to see our photos to our wedding day on May 6th. From the candid photos to the more staged ones, you brought our love for each other to life in a way we couldn’t have dreamed of! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️ Sam and Julia

include a surprise gift for the groom) and our whole wedding day. It rained the day of our engagement photoshoot at the National Zoo, and she helped us persevere and find great locations anyway. Throughout wedding planning, she helped us figure out a reasonable schedule and encouraged us to include fun details like portraits with sunglasses, a game of newlyweds vs. parents cornhole, and fireworks. We knew we could just let the day unfold and she captured every moment and action-shot, not only of us but also of our friends and family, which was so important to us. I can't recommend her highly enough!!

such a joy to work with. The mother of the groom said it best: "I'm telling you, she is world class; and we're all so lucky that you found her before she's snagged by Vogue. She is jaw-droppingly good; a true artist, whose camera is just an extension of her body. She was dancing through the crowd, or doing from-the-floor Ninja moves while she took half of these photos! Always in the right place, at the right time."

both our Friday intimate religious ceremony and our wedding the next day--and both sets of photos came out perfect! She was with us for our entire wedding planning journey, from start to finish with delivering our beautiful album. Natasha is a true professional and knows how to capture special moments. Each photo that she produced each had a significant meaning to it, and our first look photos are unreal! She is accommodating, flexible and always has a plan B. If we couldn't take photos at our desired location, she came up 5 different options. I couldn't recommend her enough--she is a charming, lovely person and we loved having her share in our special day!

rom the photos, I know that she was in the middle of the action at all times, but we never noticed. She was amazing to work with, and I give her my highest recommendation!

!!! She didn't complain about any of our unforeseen changes in schedule. She proved that her professional goal was to solve problems - we are so happy that we have beautiful photographs to share for the rest of our lives!

le is very sophisticated, stylish, and editorial. Her photos could easily fit in with a New York Times lifestyle piece! We planned our wedding from across the country, meaning we never got to meet her until the day of the wedding, but we immediately felt at ease and comfortable with her. She also very skillfully navigated complicated family dynamics - a great skill for weddings ;)

ish for years to come. Her touch with each photo looks natural and his turnaround time in producing albums and Facebook content was simply astounding. We were able to share with family and friends while they were still in town. We will certainly go back to Natasha for any future photo needs and highly recommend her and her work to everyone looking to document a special day.
