the crowded industry. From the moment we met Nate we knew he was our guy. Starting with the initial meeting, he showed up early, prepared and excited. His fun, energetic and professional personality immediately set us at ease in front of the lens. Between the engagement shoot and wedding, we climbed on lobster traps, frolicked in the ocean and ran through soaked fields in formal attire – Nate was as excited as us to get his feet wet (literally) to capture the raw emotion; creating the most beautiful unique shots. He instructed us on posing but also allowed us to be our weird-selves which made for a perfect blend of candid and professional shots. Nate and his second shooter use top-of-the-line equipment and have an incredible eye for shooting both the dramatic wide-angle shots and close ups. The focusing aesthetic in every single shot was meticulously thought out to really capture the emotion of the day (not every photographer can nail this). Additionally, our rustic venue naturally had lighting challenges with small rooms and dark ceilings, but Nate was quick to find the best spots for portraits and did a fantastic job with the dimly-lit reception barn. He offers a few different packages, many of which include an engagement photo shoot. We didn't want to do an engagement shoot, so Nate swapped that out for an extra hour of coverage on the wedding day. The photo albums that he produces are gorgeous and super high quality. On the day of the wedding, Nate and his second shooter came in and were great to work with. They made my (introvert) husband comfortable while shooting, and they worked hard to scope out great places to take photos at the hotel and at our venue. He has a great vision and works hard to take great photos. Just a few days after the wedding he put up a preview on his blog with a ton of photos from the wedding. We just love them! Nate is particularly affordable and yet produces images that are far superior to those of other photographers who charge way more. It should be a no brainer!

When we received our photos (by the way, we only had to wait around two weeks!), we both cried. Nate is able to take a picture of the most mundane task and make it completely breathtaking. I gave him idea of what I wanted and Nate did all the leg work. He found potential locations, spoke with the property owners, and set up everything (he even gives ideas on what to wear!) From the first meeting right up until the wedding day, Nate was in constant communication through text messages and emails. As the wedding date approaches, Nate likes to meet to set up a timeline for the wedding day so everything stays on track. Don’t worry, Nate takes all the work out of this too since he will have the timeline done for you (the bride and groom can fine tune it if needed). Most importantly, the pictures! Absolutely amazing AND Nate works hard for a quick turn-around time. You don’t have to wait months to enjoy them. Nate had our engagement photos and wedding photos both completed in just a couple weeks! I would highly recommend Nate Creamer Photography and we will definitely be using him for future events.
