Whether you’re looking for traditional or modern music, versatile pianist Nate Hance is here to play all the music you love for your wedding! He has spent decades honing his skills on cruise ships, weddings, headliner shows and gigs of all shapes and sizes. He will work with you to craft the perfect playlist for your wedding, whether that be pop, rock, country, jazz or classical music!
Nate has long been passionate about the piano and his initial training included classical and jazz. He received a degree in music composition from Concordia University and has been working full-time in the industry since his graduation in 2010. His experience includes playing the piano on a cruise ship for three years, which allowed him to travel to more than 60 countries. He is able to perform in a variety of settings and from a range of genres.
Nate is able to provide the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Nate most often performs as a solo pianist, but he can make arrangements for duets and ensembles. As someone who enjoys getting creative, Nate likes learning new songs and welcomes requests. He can also bring his own keyboard, microphones, and sound system if needed.

Nate can be said to truly demonstrate when extraordinary talent is combined with a clear commitment to tailoring his services to help make the wedding day uniquely special and memorable. We were blown away by how beautifully he played the songs we had requested him to play, which he learned, and seemingly mastered in preparation for our wedding day. He learned the Mario 64 ending theme, but made it "wedding style"! It was PERFECT. He definitely made cocktail hour fun for the guests!
Lastly, he came recommended by the Watson Block, which made connecting and booking with him all the easier!
We would definitely encourage other couples to connect with Nate if you're in the market for an exceptional and fun pianist for your wedding!

ry accommodating and performed those pieces beautifully. Some of them were classical, and others were covers of more contemporary, popular pieces, so he's clearly a very versatile musician...he even did a custom arrangement and sent a few samples in the weeks leading up to our wedding to share his progress and make sure we felt good about the arrangement (which we absolutely did)! Then for our cocktail hour, we gave him free rein over music selection, and couldn't have been happier with the selection of jazz and pop that he played. He did a great job of reading the room/crowd and adapting the music to fit; I believe a couple guests even made impromptu requests that he was able to play on the spot! Overall, I highly recommend Nate...his communication, flexibility, and talent really helped to make our big day special!

He played anything we asked for and even would pick up on conversations and change up the music accordingly. One of my friends called out to another friend that he looked a bit like Inspector Gadget. Nate overheard that and added in the Inspector Gadget jingle in the middle of another song. He was so fun, but also respectful.
Highly recommend, and have shared his name with many friends.
