Nate Messarra Photography

ure every moment of our special day. They were very quick to respond any time we had questions and were receptive to our ideas and overall vision. Highly recommend booking them for your wedding!

with edits and selection of images and was always ready to answer any questions we had. The quality of the album was very nice and we now feature it on our coffee tables in our home!

rsonal experience. They interact with everyone, capturing every moment, without ever getting in the way or distracting from the main event. Nate and Alex shot our engagement pictures as well as our wedding pictures and both have FAR exceeded our expectations. We discovered them at the Houston bridal expo in 2021 and were immediately captivated by how vibrant and full of life their photos were. We booked them and have absolutely no regrets. Seeing our own wedding day come to life once again through their images is something we will cherish forever. I can’t recommend Nate and Alex enough! I would book them again in a heartbeat. You will be in excellent hands!

them, we didn’t worry about photos at all! We were confident that they would do an amazing job. We were specifically looking for vibrant, colorful photos and they delivered perfectly. The two of them are incredibly friendly and professional. The day of, they kept things moving and never slowed down the schedule, yet they captured way more photos than we could’ve imagined! Their unlimited model for photos and time took stress off our plate too. We also highly recommend renting their photobooth, which is really more like a mini studio right at your wedding. It was a HUGE hit at our wedding!! The photos turned out so well and guests were able to go online and download their own copies. Other photo booths produce grainy photos and/or only let you save the photos with a border around them or in a group of 3. With Nate & Alex’s photobooth, the photos turned out so well that 6 months later, I still have friends and family (and myself!) posting photos online of the day, printing them out for their walls at home, and talking about how they wished they’d taken more photos at the photobooth. As two awkward people who never seem to get a good picture, Nate and Alex gave us hundreds of amazing photos from the wedding and from our engagement shoot! They gave posing tips and coached us throughout both and it made a huge difference. Nate & Alex are worth every single penny!!! Your future self will thank you for hiring them!

l at ease. He goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. We met and went over the timeline, he answered our endless questions, gave us helpful tips and tricks and even suggested places we could take engagement/wedding photos. His recommended videographer was incredible as well. He patiently and thoroughly walks you through every step of the way and makes a stressful process a lot easier. Not to mention, the photos turned out beautiful, vibrant, and captured our day perfectly. HIGHLY recommend going with Nate and his team. They are worth every penny.

ry step of the way. The wall art and wedding books are unique and beautiful. I highly recommend hiring them to anyone.

irection which I greatly appreciated. The photos are absolutely stunning, and we look forward to enjoying them for years to come!

gate the wedding planning process, not just with photography but with many other aspects of planning. They gave us insight we hadn’t thought of before. When we postponed our wedding due to the pandemic, they were flexible and able to work with us through the nuances and challenges that postponing brought. They are professionals, easy to work with, and know exactly what they’re doing. We also highly recommend the photo station for the reception. Our guests had a great time with it (so did we!), and the quality of those pictures is the best we’ve ever seen from comparable photo booths. The process to review the photos after the wedding was easy and fun. We love our wedding photos; they are bright and colorful with all different types of lighting. We appreciated how Nate and Alex made sure to get different types of pictures, as well as shots with all of our guests. We ordered a beautiful keepsake album from Nate and Alex that we look through often, as well as several framed pictures that are displayed in our home so that we can see them every day. Nate and Alex are kind, talented people and a pleasure to work with.

d he was such a joy to work with. Him and Alex were so kind and professional on our wedding day and made sure we kept to our schedule and got every shot we wanted. There’s nobody else I would trust with capturing our big day! Thanks Nate and Alex!

r feeling rushed, while still getting in every single photo and more!! They are very enthusiastic about their craft and attentive to each and every detail. They felt like more than just our photographers, but truly friends. During the reception, they were always near for any and all pictures that we requested. After the wedding, they took skyline photos with us which went above and beyond all of our expectations!! We could not be more grateful for them! Thank you Nate and Alex!!!!

d I are not always the best at taking a bunch of photos but Nate is excellent at capturing organic moments and offering suggestions to make us feel at ease. His suggestions gave us a tons of moments and memories that we'll be able to cherish forever. On the big day, he brought positive energy, was always prompt, knew the schedule inside/out, and seamlessly incorporated himself throughout. He was excellent at capturing the set shoots (e.g. first look, bridal party, family, bride/groom, etc.), keeping people on schedule, and also excellent at capturing/framing so many candid moments throughout the ceremony and reception. After the wedding Nate communicated a clear timeline, provided an initial edited grouping of photos, gave us the option to look over the whole gallery (hundred and hundreds of photos) and select additional photos for extra editing, and finally gave us the full gallery of high-res images. I would recommend Nate to shoot anyone's engagement pictures/wedding. 6/5 stars.

and incredibly responsive, but they are warm people and easy to work with. Flexible with times and dates to meet and always willing to pivot to make sure we got exactly what we wanted from the experience. We were supposed to get married during the beginning of 2020 and had to reschedule and juggle a bunch of things around. Messarra’s were so easy going and tried to make the transition as easy as possible. My husband and I can say that we have made great friends in Nate and Alex and plan to use them for all of our photography needs going forward.

would last after the wedding day was over. This was a vendor I did not regret choosing. They took both our engagement photos and wedding photos. From the very beginning Nate was always available by phone to explain things to me and to answer any questions I had. He is definitely an experienced wedding photographer and knew what he was doing in both sessions. My husband and I haven't done anything like this before, but Nate made us feel comfortable and told us exactly what to do. We were so pleased with how the photos turned out! I feel like their photography style is more "classic" which is what we were looking for. They got all the "typical" wedding poses as well as candid shots which I also love. I didn't even notice them during the ceremony but they got beautiful shots of the whole ceremony, from beginning to end. Three months later we're still obsessed with our photos and our family and friends have seen nothing like it. We highly recommend Nate and Alex, especially for something as big as your wedding photos!

ID-19 and the daily changes and new restrictions it imposed. We even had to move our wedding up 24 hours!! While some vendors had to back out- Nate and Alex came through. They worked so hard to make everything look perfect despite all the chaos. I am SO happy we chose Nate and Alex and HIGHLY recommend it to any bride/or anyone in need of a photographer. I can not say enough how great they are!!

tement. They take the time to get to know you leading up to the wedding day so that there is not just a stranger taking photos of you on one of the most special days in life. We could not be more elated with their work and we cannot ever recommend them enough. Nate Messarra Photography will help you remember the magic of your wedding day with the most breathtaking photos and videos you could ever have!

an issue with our cake and Nate stepped in to help like he was a seasoned baker! They did everything that we asked them for at 110% - Even if it made the schedule tight, they were more than willing. At the reception, whenever we wanted pictures with family and friends, it seemed like Nate and Alex were always there at the ready. We never had to go searching for them the entire night. Nate and Alex didn’t feel like our photographers, they felt like our friends because they were so nice and we could tell they wanted us to have the best wedding day possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to capture all the special moments on their big day! Thanks again Nate and Alex!

nal artists! We really enjoyed our photo reveal sessions at their home and the patience they exuded while we took our time to select our photos and create our album. We also appreciate how much time they took to get to know us so that our photos reflected us as a couple. Thank you Nate and Alex!

moment beautifully! We got so many compliments for our photos. Not only Nate and Alex are so great at what they're doing, but they're also so much fun to work with. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who will provide you with a LOT of AMAZING photographs, please do yourself a favor and look no more! I promise you'll thank me later ;) But seriously, they are ABSOFREAKINLUTELY the BEST!

r any questions we had throughout the planning process and worked with us to ensure that everything went smoothly and in a timely manner on our wedding day. Though we had a large bridal party and family, they were able to manage everything efficiently and with patience. They captured our wedding day perfectly and we loved how our pictures and video turned out. We highly recommend them!

e couldn't be happier. We've only seen the sneak peeks so far (which they got to us a few days after our wedding - right before we left on our honeymoon), but they are just magical. Nate and Alex were both so easy to communicate with, really know their stuff, especially when it comes to figuring out the timeline (which i was so stressed about until Nate and I walked through it together), and they just make you feel so at ease even during the most hectic parts of your wedding day. They were so fun and honestly, when they arrived at my house to start taking the getting ready pictures, it felt more like they were friends who were there taking the pictures rather than just some people your hired to do wedding photography.  Nate and Alex went above and beyond to make sure that they captured not only beautiful but also visually interesting photos.   We also used the Photo Station, which was absolutely a hit! Rather than just a photo booth, they have a professional attendant (Nate and Alex traded off in our case) who gives suggestions to the photo takers, which ended up in some hilarious photos. And the quality of the photos was very professional - we got them the day after our wedding and it was so fun to go through and see how much fun all our friends were having - the Photo Station absolutely a MUST!! Finally, we also used the videography service. I was a little bit nervous that having two photographers and two videographers would make the wedding feel like a production, since we were having a fairly low key wedding, but it was one of the best decisions we made - to be honest, unless we were specifically doing photos, i didn't even notice any of the videographers or the photographers - they managed to completely be in the background while capturing everything. And the sneak peak video that we received along with the photos was just so beautiful and I can't wait to see the whole thing!  So, if it wasn't apparent by this ridiculously long review - definitely hire Nate and Alex - you will not regret it!

had an absolute blast shooting with them throughout the whole night. It's really cool looking back and not only having beautiful pictures of the best day ever, but knowing we (and our wedding party) truly had fun with the people behind the cameras. Thank you both so so much for perfectly capturing our special day. You really went above & beyond for us and we are forever grateful.

nderstand what we wanted and really listened. On the wedding day they were a joy to work with, assuring and quietly confident. Their presence was inconspicuous throughout the entire ceremony. When it came to helping our family and wedding party pose, they were creative and clear, and the personalities of our loved ones came out beautifully in the photos. Our couple photos are more beautiful than I could have imagined; they captured tender moments and the joy we felt. Regarding quality, my husband (artist and graphic designer) and I could not be more pleased. The photos are stunning yet relatable, capturing how we felt that special day. Nate and Alex make the photos easy to view, print, and share; and we’ve enjoyed sharing them with family so easily. Lastly, and very importantly, working with Nate and Alex throughout the entire process was wonderful. They are highly skilled at their craft, and they are incredibly thoughtful about every detail of their service, showing that they truly care about you as a person, about all the details, and about your wedding photo experience as a whole. Thank you, Nate Messarra Photography!

on time, easy to work with, and you hardly noticed them at the reception, yet they captured all the fun. And we had pictures after the wedding within a couple weeks. You will not be disappointed, and be sure to check out the photo station they offer- everyone loved it!

the images with you (a private showing with champ and cookies!!) so you can experience the day all over again with your spouse. Great team!!

ce enough to have us view our photos at their house which was a great experience and they made us feel so special! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

is part of your wedding! You will be well informed and very pleased with the final product. They have a gift of making the entire process of photographing bridal portraits, wedding and reception completely stress-free and so much fun! Their energy is contagious as they capture unique, beautiful photos in the timeframe they are given. You will love working with Nate Messarra Photography!

ctly, and are such a joy to work with. They are extremely personable and genuine, which made it so easy to relay our ideas and feel comfortable while doing so. Our photos were delivered in a respectful amount of time after our wedding day, and presented to us in multiple formats which made it so easy to share them with family and friends! When purchasing wall art from them, they help you with decision making and design which is tremendously helpful. We also got an extremely high quality wedding album, which I could not be more excited about!!!! I honestly feel like I came out of this experience with two new life long friends. I would HIGHLY recommend Nate Messarra Photography.

re amazing and we can’t thank them enough for giving us such beautiful pictures to look back on

photo booth and everyone had so much fun while taking the pictures!) After meeting with Nate, I knew they would be able to capture our wedding day perfectly. We are so happy with how our pictures came out! During the day of, they went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted and even after the wedding, they had us over to their home for a picture preview party, which was such a great way to relive our wedding day! I would recommend Nate Messarra Photography to any couple!

had a million questions. On the day of the wedding, they helped us all stay ahead of schedule - something that we were very nervous about. They were both calm and positive and helped us remain relaxed. Even though we got married out of town, Nate and Alex went there early and knew exactly where we should take our wedding portraits before the ceremony. They were very discreet during the ceremony and were very efficient with family photos immediately following. Our reception photos were so fun with a lot of dancing photos and lots of smiles and laughter. By the time everything was over, they seemed more like our friends than our photographers. Nate and Alex provided us with beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime. Thank you to you both!

g! Highly recommend!! :)

e. It was like talking with an old friend and we knew immediately that we needed him to shoot our wedding. While a little more expensive than the other photographers we looked at, he and his wife Alex are worth EVERY PENNY. From amazing engagement photos to an awesome photo booth that was the hit of the wedding, it was amazing working with them. They even have you over to their home and provide snacks and drinks while you review the photos. If you every need professional photography do yourself a favor and hire Nate!

e were looking for since after all the planning you only have your photos as your memories! They truly capture the day and the feelings all around! I highly recommend any couple using them!

e photos which was perfect, because I had no ideas at all! They are very comfortable in the flow of a wedding and seamlessly fit everything in, including a ton of family photos and all the spontaneous moments as well. Hiring them was definitely one of the best decisions that we made! And if you can, definitely add on their photobooth as well - we got a ton of compliments, and it is super fun & easy!

give ideas, and they always took our ideas and made them reality. The best money we spent on our wedding was with Nate and Alex, hands down.

instead of staged!

c shots I wanted and also get so many beautiful candid moments I might not have had otherwise. My favorite thing about their style is that they won't over edit the photos, so the photos are beautiful and realistic.

tails of our day. They're very responsive, collaborative, and definitely exceeded our expectations. We can't recommend them enough--thank you Nate & Alex!!

!! Everyone has been SO impressed with our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. I DEFINITELY recommend using their photobooth also. Our guest absolutely LOVED it and the photos were so beautiful that some people thought they were our actual wedding photos!

our day that much more special. :)

to show in our priceless wedding pictures. We did a lot of research on the front end. From the beginning, we were drawn to the fact Alex and Nate are a husband and wife team and also sensitive/understanding to religious ceremonies. Not just that but they had the professionalism and portfolio of a more “corporate” photography company but they were so personable and approachable that it felt like we hired friends. They were the only photographers we met with in person because honestly, they had everything we were looking for (and more). On the ride home, we were both ready to sign the contract. One thing that I absolutely had to have was a photo booth. I wanted one that have the ability to print out pictures that guests could take home. I even went out of my way to specifically look this option up when looking at photographers. After having had such a fantastic first meeting with Nate and Alex, I figured I would give in and just see what would happen. Well, it was the biggest payoff of all my wedding planning “compromises”. It turned out to be such a hit!!! I didn’t know until a few days before the wedding what the exact set up would be. Nate had a screen where the pictures would be displayed almost instantaneously high up so all wedding guests could see. The best part of all this??? The quality of the photos…WOWOWOWOW!!! Everyone looked like flawless movie stars. None of the pictures were blurry from movement at all. Those that weren’t dancing said the photos was the best feature they had ever seen at a wedding. We also got a link to the photo booth pictures not even 3 days after. We were bombarded with messages on our honeymoon with how incredibly awesome the pictures were. Lastly, the attention to detail on their behalf is phenomenal. How many photographers would invite you into their home, provide wine and treats and ask for your favorite songs so as to provide the perfect environment for you and your husband (and only you two, they stepped away) to look at all of your wedding photos for the first time. As we left, we were gifted with the most beautiful flash drive (you have to see it for yourself) that had every single picture we had taken. From first engagement picture to last wedding picture and all in between. From our scheduling engagement session to the big day, Nate and Alex were a perfect mix of approachability and reassurance all while letting us have creative freedom and enhancing what we had in mind, without being pushy. The wedding pictures were the number one most important thing to me, even more so than my dress. I can honestly say Nate and Alex exceeded my high expectations of our wedding pictures. They were one of the few things I did not have to stress over from start to finish. I have the fortunate problem of not being able to figure out which ones I want to order and display. I know that these pictures will be displayed in so many homes, so many places and for some many years. Without a doubt, the best wedding gift we received were Nate and Alex’s beautiful, timeless photographs.

taking pictures. They provide all the props, as well. And, we loved being able to see all the pictures on display on a big screen. The pictures are up on their website for the guests to access right away. It was such an excellent addition to our reception!

e bridal session because I wanted to be completely surprised on my wedding day. Nate and Alex suggested that I could still have my bridal portraits done on my wedding day. We only needed a few minutes and they shot everything I wanted. My wedding photos are spectacular and they really captured every wonderful moment. The photo booth station was a huge hit as well!!! So much fun!!! Nate was very creative with our engagement photos as well!!! They have a customer for life with us!!!! They were professional, punctual, fun and enthusiastic!!! I can't say enough great things!! Thank you Nate and Alex!!!

They are are thorough, detailed, professional, prompt, kind, and caring. They truly care about their clients and capturing all the right moments. Nate Messarra Photography is fantastic and I would HIGHLY recommend!

that made it so memorable. Family and friends who weren't necessarily present at the ceremony or reception felt and relived those emotions by only looking at the wonderful wedding album. I can't thank enough Alex and Nate for what they offered us. If you're looking for a wedding photographer that will make your big day eternal, please do choose them. They are simply the BEST!
