Anyone can snap a few photos. I capture moments and memories. My specialty is knowing how to make you and yours look the best *IN THE MOMENT*. I will TALK to you first- you and I will communicate as much as needed (my dad jokes are epic) and before the first frame is snapped I'll know which side you favor, what you'd love to see in your images (and what you really don't want), and which parts of your wedding are the most important to you. Then, you can relax while I pay attention to the lighting, environment, background, foreground, composition, the position of the sun, and the weather forecasts... mix it all together and we'll have a blast creating images you're going to LOVE. le in the photos. I am a procrastinator as so Nathan was actually booked the day of my wedding, however, he went above and beyond for me. He contacted a photography associated of his, Lyndsey McIntyre, who he trusted, to take my photos. I met with both Nathan and Lyndsey ahead of the ceremony. They helped me think through the timing and how the lighting would affect the photos. Lyndsey took the photos the day of and Nathan edited them.
When our big day came, it was overcast, unseasonably cold, and misting all day! Not ideal for an outdoor wedding, but we did have a Keltic theme, so it worked! I cannot express how tough the photographer was given the conditions! She stuck through the terrible weather, navigated guests with umbrellas and raincoats and was able to deliver unbelievable photos! She even encouraged my husband and I to steal away for some precious time alone and captured my favorite photos of the day.

t December, I don't know what we would have done without him! He was so incredibly helpful and patient leading up to and throughout the day, consistently going above and beyond for us. His fun and relaxed personality created such calming presence throughout the day and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He managed to somehow wrangle both of our huge families into taking fantastic pictures and also fixed the zipper on my dress that no one else could all with a smile on his face and without breaking a sweat. I couldn't be happier with our experience with Nathan and the beautiful pictures he took. I could not recommend him more!!

genuinely kind and caring soul, with an artistic eye for detail and an ability to see what most overlook! We spoke countless times over the phone and via text prior to the big day, but never met until shortly before the event, and still he managed to put my husband and I [not to mention an oversized bridal party] at complete ease... it was as if we had known each other for years. Not only does his brilliant work speak for itself, but his coordination abilities and level headedness amidst otherwise chaotic circumstances instantly erased any last minute worries I had about not hiring a wedding planner! I know without a doubt that our day went as smoothly as it did thanks to having Nathan there every step of the way!!!

He will, however, direct you on how to place an arm, hand, etc so that the photo comes out well, and you will not look awkward! - We can't wait to use Nathan down the road for other life events. ust his ability to take gorgeous photos - I know that there are tons of great wedding photographers out there - Nathan's gentle, calming, supportive AND organized, efficient personality is why he's the top of the game. He's a relatively soft-spoken fellow, but when it's time to get the job done, he puts on a Director cap and deftly wrangles brides, grooms, maids, groomsmen, and especially family members! to create the kinds of images that make it seem like your wedding party always looks amazing when just standing around together. It takes skill and talent to take great photographs. But it takes experience to imbue those photographs an emotional vibrancy that is created when the subjects are calm, confident, in love, surrounded by loved ones. Nathan has the skill, talent, and experience necessary to document one of the most important days of your year. Don't pass on this guy; he's the real deal.

as a huge help with the timeline of our wedding- when we should do things and in what order- had awesome picture ideas, and helped us to organize and prioritize what pictures and moments we most wanted to capture. We only met him the actual day of the wedding, but exchanged about a hundred+ emails and phone calls before then and we were thrilled with his professionalism, happy demeanor, and calm guidance. He even went out of his way to come for our rehearsal dinner and take beautiful pictures there as well! He's a seasoned professional, so he knows how to walk you through every aspect of the experience – from scheduling photography for your wedding day to making minor adjustments in poses so that you look your absolute best – he holds your hand through the whole thing. He has a calming and positive presence that makes you feel relaxed in front of the camera. The best piece of advice I got from the person who recommended Nathan to me was to listen to his advice. If he suggests trying some shots this way or that, DO IT. You won't regret it. He's a true artist.

And if all that isn't enough, he's a genuinely wonderful human being. He took the time to get to know us before the wedding and was the one who ended up making sure my husband and I both took the time to sit down and eat during our reception. And beyond that, Nathan KNOWS weddings - their inner workings, the timing, the order of operations, what looks good, what will not translate well to photos, even when to put your dress on and how to keep a flower secured in your hair. As a bride and groom, you couldn't possibly anticipate all these things (and why would you? You don't do this very often!). But Nathan does, and it is so helpful and makes him a truly special addition to your big day. Ultimately, it's his stellar and out-of-this world photography that truly differentiates him from the rest. You couldn't possibly choose someone better!
