in order to make our timing we had planned out. We had an original plan to take pictures at certain locations but the weather went from sunny to pouring rain and he took over and gave us some ideas on where to take pictures and we literally just told him "Do what you think is best". We had no worries at all! He ended up sending us around 45 pictures the next day and made a slide show within two days. The pictures are AMAZING. He captures the moments that are real and authentic which is what we were looking for. WE LOVED WORKING WITH YOU AND YOUR TEAM!!!! If anyone is looking for a photographer, this is your guy! Now...If you're looking for someone that is passionate for the art of photography and videography, makes it a point to understand the couple well before the wedding, is 100% present on your day, then Nathan is your person. He is willing to play so many roles for you! (coordinator/time manager, the bride's right hand man, the groom's wedding interpretor, the bridal party's favorite person) He, with my wedding planner (love greyson events), created a foolproof schedule that had 2 plans depending on weather and tons of cushion to allow for anything. He was there from the start to end and sneaked us out for the most amazing sunset pictures at the lake. Again, we are so appreciative for him and his team for their confidence and expertise. We didn't give him a lot of requirements because we trusted him fully and knew he would capture us and the day perfectly. He did just that.....way beyond our expectations! So thankful!

In all communication leading up to the wedding, he was extremely helpful and eager to make our big day exactly what we envisioned. He photographed our rehearsal dinner, which gave us some of the most intimate photos of the weekend, and then was present for all of the most beautiful moments of the wedding day - pre-wedding yoga & golf, hair & makeup, first look, sunset photos - he orchestrated them all perfectly. He also worked together flawlessly with our videographer/wedding planner/everybody. He has this way of setting up an incredible shot seemingly instantaneously, and his photos are far above and beyond any other work I've seen. The photos from our wedding day exceeded all my expectations and I'm so grateful to have those memories to look back on forever. What really makes Nathan special is the way I STILL have friends and family members remarking about what a great guy he is - he brings this effortless joy with him, even in the 95 degree heat that was our wedding day. He was literally on the dance floor, dancing, while taking pictures at one point. We love him, our friends and family love him, I would hire him 100x over for our wedding in a heartbeat. Nathan was at our engagement shoot in Chicago. They were the best engagement photos we had ever seen. Our wedding was over Halloweekend, and my husband and his groomsman did a zombie 5K the morning of our wedding - Nathan offered to photograph this - which was above and beyond. He worked with us on our timeline and was very prompt at getting all of the family photos and then wedding party photos done when we didn't give him much time. The cherry on top was when we had our guests dress up in costumes and Nathan dressed up too! He was and is always willing to have fun with his clients, and we'd consider him a friend. We were very impressed with his communication style, photography skills and how quickly he is able to deliver photos. We got a sample of our wedding day photos the night of, and then an additional AMAZING slide show just a few days later. Nathan wasn't just a photographer during our wedding journey - we really feel like he was just a friend, enjoying the time with us. job from beginning to end. Not only are his pictures beautiful, but he is so kind and cares about your day as if it was his own. He put on all of the guys' boutonnieres for us and even carried a sewing kit with him just in case! Our bridal party and parents had a BLAST taking photos because Nathan has such a good time with it. To top off the wonderful day, we had pictures IN HAND that night!! He started editing at the reception just so we could have a few sneak peak photos after the wedding.

ded up electing to do engagement photos though originally had not intended to and he offered to come out to Boston, as this was a city with more memories for the both of us. We were touched at his flexibility and the photos turned great. On the day of our wedding, he was very attentive and in the end we got some outstanding photos. Living in Chicago and getting married in Grand Rapids, we did not know the good areas to take pictures. He had the best ideas, and was so easy to work with. We didn't feel awkward with him at any moment, and the preview he sent us (2 days after the wedding!!) was absolutely beautiful. He is such a talented photographer, and really listens to your dreams/views of what you are looking for. Pricing was VERY reasonable, and we loved that he didn't give us a time limit for the day. A lot of of other photographers will only work with you for 6+ hours, or 8+ hours and then charge you more and more. Nathan wants you to have the BEST day possible, and not worry about that kind of stuff. He shows up when you want, and leaves when you want. I twos so great to not have to worry/think about that on your wedding day. I can't wait to have another reason to work with him again. Definitely the best decision we made for our wedding was to work with him. Not the cake, not the venue, flowers...it was him. Thank you so much Nathan! You helped make our day perfect.

Nathan IS the glue that holds things together, smooths things out, quietly and graciously keeps a timeline while snapping the most incredible, provocative, and heartwarming shots. I cannot say enough about him - Nathan knows everything about his job and executes it supremely. He even helped put in my veil! He and his awesome partner for the day, James, even captured our cake cutting on video because they noticed our videographer was mysteriously missing for the moment. He literally captured every moment of the day. I don't often hear of many photographers doing this! We had a rather large wedding party, nine bridesmaids, nine groomsmen, two ushers, and two ring bearers; Nathan handled them with ease. Eleven days after the wedding Nathan had already e-mailed me the link to all of my photographs. He also posted a few preview pictures the morning after the wedding we were able to see before leaving on our honeymoon. The pictures were above and beyond what I was expecting. Nathan has an amazing talent. We feel so lucky to have been able to have him capture our day. I will forever cherish our photos. I could go on and on about how amazing Nathan is!
