Nate has been photographing my family's important events for years. Like our family, we have seen Nate's craft grow as well. We were blown away the first time he took our photos and have been every time since.

Nate photographed my daughter's wedding over 5 years ago and when I emailed him to say I was having trouble accessing her pictures he suggested we hop on a Zoom so he could walk me through it. That's what you're getting with Nate. He truly cares about the couples and families he works with and the images he captures show it. We absolutely loved working with Nate. If I had another child getting married I would insist that they use Nate for their wedding.

Book Nate! That's really all I can say. Even our priest told us how impressed they were with him. He was everything we were looking for in a wedding photographer and more.

I had the pleasure of working with Nathan this past year for the 1st time and I cannot begin to tell you how easy he was to work with. As a planner, there is a lot that we need to pay attention to to make sure the day runs smoothly and Nathan was always 1 step ahead of us. His energy, thoughtfulness, and calm demeanor were infectious and I could tell how happy our couple was with him. And then we saw the pictures! Just WOW! is all i can say. My daughter chose Nathan as her photographer and we could not be happier. My daughter, Nathan, and I met for coffee and we could tell right away how passionate he is about his craft. My daughter gifted me an album that Nathan designed and it is truly a work of art. He did such an amazing job capturing the day and I relive it every time I look at my album.

Nathan is a great photographer. He is very chill - which I frequently hear many wedding photographers are not - and really focuses in on making you feel comfortable and natural in your photos. Everyone in the wedding party was raving about his style, which made getting all of the classic shots fun and easy. The photos came out great and there were many high-quality candid, detail, and posed shots. Something for everyone! We could not have been happier!

Nate truly was the highlight of our wedding! From the start, he was organized and creative as we planned our wedding at the Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn. He listened to us, understood our vision and made sure to capture all of the beauty of the space while adding so many of his own ideas. Looking through our photos, we still can't believe it was just one photographer - he captured so many different angles, people, and moments, it was unreal! Beyond being unbelievably talented, Nate's calm and outgoing demeanor made our wedding day so much fun. By the end of the night, he felt like one of the family! There were so many moments that were just us two and Nate, and we didn't realize how important it is to truly trust and like your photographer until that day- we could not have been more thrilled that we picked Nate to capture it for us. He will not steer you wrong! He is an incredibly skilled, wonderful photographer and person. HIGHLY recommend Nate!

Nate was excellent to work with from start to finish! He was informative and independent at the wedding, which we appreciated when we were juggling everything the day of. What we appreciated most was his chill attitude during the wedding chaos. Our pictures came out amazing and we keep hearing that they should be in a magazine! 10/10 would recommend Nate to everyone.

Nate is simply AMAZING! I would never say this to his face but I think he started to tear up when he was telling us about some of his favorite weddings. There was definitely a little "twinkle" in his eyes. From the moment I saw it I knew how passionate his was about his work and couples he gets to work with. From the moment we met Nate it just clicked (pun intended;)). I was drawn in by Nate's honest and open approach, and Jeffrey nerded out with him over camera equipment, a true match made in heaven. But seriously, Nate captured everything we hoped for and more. The extra attention he paid to close family and friends was what really blew us away, it was like he knew everyone who was important in our lives and captured them beautifully. We didn't look to bad ourselves;)

Finding a photographer was one of the hardest things my fiance, Gregg, and I had to do, and we are so glad we found Nate. Nate immediately put us at ease when we met him with laid back approach. He walked us through the entire wedding photography process and answered ALL of our questions, and believe me, we had a lot! On our wedding day I was an emotional mess! Nate was so patient with me and walked me, sometimes literally, through the day. He always asked how I was and let me know that we could stop at any time. He truly cared how I was and wanted to make sure I was alright every step of the way. I don't know how he got the shots he did, especially with how emotional I was, but they are all breathtaking. Thank you Nate for capturing our day so beautifully!

Nathan was phenomenal! He came highly recommended by my cousin who used him for her wedding and he did not disappoint. The photos from our wedding were absolutely beautiful! My only regret with Nathan is that we didn't have him do our engagement photos:( Nathan, do you do baby photos?!?! ;)

Not to sound cheesy, but Nate is great! My family is a lot to handle but Nate somehow, in his soft demeanor, wrangled us all for family portraits and got every grouping I asked him to get. My mom is still in amazement with how he did it. That aside, he really is great. When we got our photos we were blown away. He created a story for us, which is what he said he would in our first meeting. It was like we were reliving our wedding day again. All the memories, and moments we missed, we are there and we will love them forever.

My mom and I met with Nathan at a coffee shop near my parents house, which was over an hour from his and a sign of his commitment and dedication. Nathan speaks so passionately about his photography and immediately put my mom and me at ease. Once, while he was taking notes, my mom and I looked at each other and nodded our heads in agreement, I had found my photographer! Throughout the wedding process, Nathan was there every step of the way, to answer questions, give suggestions, and really just get to know me and my then fiance, Geoff. I cannot recommend Nathan anymore! If there were more stars, I would give them. You will not be disappointed!

Nate has the ability to keep everyone calm in even the most stressful situations. When it rained pre-wedding when we were taking pictures it could have been disasterous but Nate figured out a way to use the beauty of the rain and the venue to capture amazing photos. He also worked quickly without making you feel rushed or hassled. In addition to the posed photos, Nate has a gift for capturing the candid moments as well. He really brings the day to life and was amazing to work with. I am having him shoot my wedding this June and feel relieved that no matter what happens with the weather, Nate will help us all remain calm and carry on while getting amazing photos.

Wedding days can be so overwhelming, with so many places to be, people to work with, and guests to tend to! Of course, one of the top priorities is to get the best shots of your big day - Nate did just that! He made myself and all of the bridal party and guests feel super comfortable and got the best pictures that truly captured the joy of our wedding day! The photo process did not feel forced at all, he actually made it SO fun! I would definitely recommend him to brides-to- be if you want great, timeless pictures AND a relaxed, fun wedding day!

We are so happy Nate was our wedding photographer! He took beautiful photos of our wedding and was extremely professional, patient, and calm throughout the entire process. Everyone has that one photo that they look back to from there wedding day. As a bride, I was very intimidated because I didn’t know how we would ever get that shot. Nate makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. His calm demeanor and easy going attitude made us get the shot and so much more. I read through all of the reviews on Nate's photography and I have to say, they are true! We hired a lot of vendors for our wedding, and they all did a great job, but Nate is the only one who the guests were talking about the next day. It was hard to understand why, since none of them had seen any of the photos he had taken, but after seeing Nate in action we all knew the photos were going to be great. Nate is shooting our wedding next year and after getting our engagement photos from him we cannot wait to see what he does at our wedding! Nathan was an absolute pleasure! My fiancé and I hate having our pictures taken but Nathan made it so easy. We were so comfortable with him. He let us be us. We didn't want the posed, stiff photos our parents have from their weddings and Nathan gave us just what we wanted. We look natural and like we're having fun, because we had a blast! Nate was the best vendor of our entire wedding! His laid back attitude and calm demeanor leading up to the wedding put us at ease, and his professional and artistic approach landed us with the photos of our dreams! It felt like every time my husband and I were thinking, "oh we should get a picture of this" he was already there. It seemed like he was able to be everywhere at once. He also was able to manage people well in the traditional portraits which is great when there are 3 sets of parents, 9 people in your wedding party, along with 5 kids under the age of 4. Some of our favorite photos from our wedding were the photo of the reading during the ceremony where he snuck up to the balcony to get a picture of the whole wedding, close ups of our hands during the vows/ring exchanges, and some portraits of the two of us he had planned by visiting the ceremony and reception site prior to the wedding. He also went above and beyond the past year working with us to make the photo book that will be a keepsake that we will cherish forever. We were so impressed with his work, professionalism, personality, and AMAZING value added.

Nate was AMAZING. I have NEVER liked the way that I looked in photos or liked having my photo taken. His work made my husband and I feel like he had known us for years. I SO APPRECIATE his professionalism, his humor, and his art!

Nate shot engagement photos for us. The day was gloomy and without mentioning it to me fiance, I assumed there was no way our picture would turn out. After roughly 45 minutes we were back at the car with my fiance looking concerned. Nate showed us a few pictures on his viewfinder and we were stunned. They were exactly want we wanted. While he was showing us the raw images on the viewfinder I noticed a little blood on his neck. As it turns out, while Nate was rolling in the field in order to get the perfect shot, he was simultaneously getting eating alive (thought his shirt) by mosquitoes. Nate had the eye and did way more than most would of in order to get the shot. My wife loved the pictures so must we not only used them for our wedding invitations but also our xmas card & thank you cards. This guy is all time.

Simply put, Nate is the best. Not only did he make us look our absolute best on the big day, he was able to capture every moment with a perfectly natural touch. From the shot selections down to the lighting , Nate didn't miss a detail. If you're looking for a photographer who you can finally trust to capture your vision, Nate is your guy!

I'm not a big review-writer, but Nathan Ramirez warrants a rave review! From the moment we saw his portfolio, we were sold. We were looking for a photographer whose style celebrated and highlighted color, rather than muting it like so many wedding photographers out there today. We were not disappointed! Our photos were vibrant and rich with color and life - just like our wedding! Nathan is also very skilled at getting impromptu shots to look as polished as the set-ups - not a small feat! In addition, Nathan was always prompt in replies and endlessly patient as we described our vision to him. He was on time, prepared, and focused - a true partner in our planning. We are so, so happy to have worked with Nathan and we recommend him wholeheartedly and without reservation!

My wife and I liked to refer to our group of vendors that we had selected for our wedding as "The A Team". Hand-picked and vetted, we really loved all of our vendors, and Nathan was our absolute favorite, the Mr. T of our "A-Team". When we first met Nathan, he immediately felt like a partner, allowing us to make our own decisions but always ready with advice. And the advice was always great, drawn from Nathan's experience as a wedding photographer and his strong sense of style. Nathan assured us as well that he would be unobtrusive while still capturing everything on our shot list. "I've been called ninja", he told us and proved it on the big day. And when all was said and done, the finished product, our photos, were absolutely stunning and delivered right on schedule. We could not possible recommend Nathan enough.

My husband and I were nervous about being in front of the camera as we aren't really "center of attention" people. However, Nate's calm demeanor and professionalism put us at ease and made it feel so natural. Nate captured our day in a way I never thought possible. Nate was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. He told us in our first meeting that his job is to allow us to experience our wedding without a camera lens stuck in our face - and he was completely right. He got amazing shots while giving us space - not easy to do. He is quietly professional and blends in to the background of the wedding, but still was able to take control when we needed him to direct our unruly bridal party of 16. Nate is the best wedding photographer. We had such amazing photos to remember our special day. Nate has a great artistic sensibility and will come up with creative shots that really capture moments beautifully. He is great to work with a very easygoing with a good sense of humor. His prices are great and unlike some other wedding photographers he does not require that you purchase an album from him (some will charge $1000 or more for each album!). Making albums with his beautiful pictures on shutterfly was actually really fun and I made beautiful, cost-effective presents for our family which they absolutely loved.

I was referred to Nate by my neighbor who had worked with him in the past. You have so many options in NYC, but we definitely made the right pick. Nate was very easy to work with, professional, prepared, on time, creative and very accessible to the 1,000 questions that I had during the plan process. I told him before the wedding that I had a better side; I was very happy when I saw all of the images and he had made sure to mostly capture that side throughout the night! Amazing!!! We were so happy to have Nate as our photographer. We chose him because his style was not just the standard posed family portraits - it was different and special. From the beginning, he wanted to make sure he captured everything that we were looking for. When it came to the day of our wedding he captured so many beautiful images of all of the special moments, down to the smallest, most important details. After our wedding I realized I had forgotten one special detail on my dress, and Nate came to our house and photographed it. I can't thank him enough for all that he did, going out of the way to make sure we had captured everything from our special day. Every time we show the pictures from our wedding, friends and family can't believe how beautiful they are - we can't stop looking at them!

Nate was wonderful! He put us perfectly at ease and listened to all of our ideas with an open mind and easy-going nature. For our wedding day, we hired Nate along with a second photographer, Tim. I totally feel that the second photographer is worth the money. Nate was able to focus on my bridesmaids and I, while Tim was able to get shots of my husband and his groomsmen. It also helped to get a lot of great and diverse shots during the church ceremony. Many of our guests commented on how pleasant they both were during the reception, and they got many of the shots we requested without ever having to impose on our fun. Our pictures turned out perfectly, and all of our friends gushed over them when they came back (very quickly by the way!). I felt like I'd been in a bridal magazine shoot because the shots were so amazing. I highly recommend Nate- he's worth every penny! Once you see your pictures, you'll never think about the price again, just how amazingly happy you are that you chose him as your photographer.

Nate was our wedding photographer and I couldn't be happier with my choice! He puts a bride at ease and has a super agreeable personality- and don't even get me started on his GORGEOUS pictures. Nate was recommended to us by a friend for our wedding, we loved his photos right from the start for their naturalness. Nate does a great job of capturing true expressions, and his photos never look overly photoshopped - he has a natural talent. We wanted our photos to reflect the relaxed wedding theme with lots of natural expressions, people laughing and enjoying themselves. Leading up to the wedding Nate met with us once, and called the week beforehand to finalize details. He thought of everything when it came to logistics, how we would get certain shots and gave some good advice from his experience at previous weddings. I would suggest to pick out some photos you like so he can get an idea on the style you're going for. Nate took the time to visit our wedding ceremony and reception venue to pick out the best spots, he really did a great job! On the day he was super early and made sure to allow enough time to get all of the details shots (rings, flowers, stationery) while I was still getting ready. We had a second photographer for 6hrs on the day who photographed all of the guys that morning - apparently they had a great time and Tim was fantastic! Nate did an amazing job of making us feel relaxed throughout the day. Anyone would feel comfortable around him. I do feel bad I remember getting so frustrated about missing cocktail hour to take photos outside, but Nate kept us calm and reassured us "it'll only be another 5mins I promise!" - he did a great job! We have had all of our photos back, and WOW. Although it took a while to go through all 1700 of them, every single one was perfect and really captured some special memories. I would highly recommend to anyone!
