it's very important that you feel comfortable with your "big" vendors, because you'll spend a lot of time with them on your wedding day, and that's absolutely true, and it was extremely clear with Nathan and Alee. They are so good at what they do, I can't even believe some of the things that they are able to capture. They are prompt, clear, kind, and talented beyond belief. Hiring them will be one of the best decisions you make in your planning process. Do not hesitate!!!!

And then when we met them (first via video chat and then in-person on our wedding day), it was clear that they were not only incredibly talented but also so kind, thoughtful, and went out of their way to make us feel so comfortable. Nathan and Alee were so professional and responsive, which was really important to us during our long distance planning. In the end, they created a beautiful, unique video specifically for us, taking into consideration our preferences and personalities. They captured so many special details, created a beautiful short film that we have watched literally 100 times (plus it makes everyone cry), and most importantly, we didn’t even notice they were filming on the day of. They are like two flies on the wall, no disruption to your special day and truly beautiful filmmaking will come out as the result. We loved working with them throughout the entire process and it was a joy to finally meet them in-person. We were also blown away by the final package we were mailed that has all the footage included on DVDs. nd and me personally - not simply asking questions about logistics or the weekend's itinerary - so that he could better capture the special moments of our wedding, and it worked! Nathan and Alee both seem to have the innate ability to know when to disappear into the background and when to speak up. For most of the wedding I had no idea they were in the room, but they also laughed out loud with me when my husband and I ended up getting each other the same wedding gift and cried with us during our balloon release in honor of our deceased loved ones. They are empathetic with their couples and passionate about their work product, even in my case choosing to stay later than the contract required to ensure all details were captured. That love and dedication shines through in their interactions with everyone during the wedding and of course in the end results. ure our wedding day. It's hard for me to find just the right words to describe how much their service and video meant to us, but I will try! Working with them was so easy. I'm not sure what exactly I pictured it would be like, but I literally had to do nothing other than have a Facetime call so they could get to know us, tell them where and when to arrive on our wedding day, and share our timeline. Of course, they were prompt (flew in to VA a day or two before) and were so professional. It's kind of like having a fly on the wall- they were discreet and followed along with our photographer so we never really had to do any special posing for them (speaking of, I have heard stories about photogs and videogs getting territorial/not working well together but ours paired together so well- how could they not? Nathan and Alee are two of the sweetest people I have ever met). Also, I was blown away that they were able to pick up on who was 'important' and incorporated footage of those people in all reels (aunts, uncles, other family members not in the wedding party). Their attention to detail with things like that, and capturing the more subtle moments of the day, was incredible. A lot of family members considered hiring a videographer non essential, but after watching the reels, were in agreement that it was one of the best decisions we made. At least once a week, our flower girl requests her babysitter to play the feature film and at the reception bit of the video, she gets up and dances. I can't imagine not being able to relive the best day, or not being able to show it to our kids or grand kids. I will forever be Nathan and Alee's #1 fan. They stitched together the best moments of the best day into what is now our most cherished heirloom.

hey totally exceeded our expectations! They will capture every moment but you will also hardly even know they are there on the wedding day- which makes it a lot easier to be natural! They captured so many special moments for us that we will cherish forever. We would definitely choose them over again and again!

They were also very considerate of our wedding photographer and worked well with everyone who was a part of the day- vendors, guests, and family (which is a major plus!). AND THEN -- the BEST PART, is all the little films sent after the wedding, and the gorgeous festive package sent with the wedding video DVD inside. It captured all of the important moments of our big day in such a unique way, and it is short enough to watch over and over! Nathan and Alee are true artists, and they are so great at what they do.

We trusted them whole-heartedly to let their vision blend with ours and have their artistry shine through with only a few pieces of guidance. They also worked really well with the photographers; there was no awkwardness or competing for the same ‘shot’. We could not be happier with our final product, both the short film and the longer version. To this day we re-watch both videos on random holidays and at each anniversary milestone and it tugs at our heart strings every time. The pictures are nice too, but the videos really transport us back to that day, to re-experience the same feelings all over again. While we were reluctant to budget for the film expense at first, we were so incredibly happy we did as it was, BY FAR, the BEST INVESTMENT we made on ourselves and will certainly be passed down, for our family to enjoy, for generations to come. We were so lucky to find these two, and so happy to have met them. We will forever be connected through this beautiful product that means so much to us. We literally sifted through what seemed like a million videographers and knew we had found the right one as soon as we saw Nathan and Alee's work. Not only are they two of the most genuine people we have ever met, they have this amazing, and very rare I might add, ability to capture the moments that mean the most and showcase them in the most beautiful way. For never filming in Chicago before our wedding day, our video is a true testament to just how talented these two are at bringing your surroundings, the emotion, and the moments that matter most during your wedding day to life. Their style is more journalistic in nature which really comes through in the authenticity of their finished product and was exactly what we were looking for.
