Nathan Willis Wedding Films filmed our wedding festivities in Chicago in April 2019 and we were blown away by the wedding footage. We had a sun-filled Friday and a snow-filled Saturday, both looked incredible. The 8-minute cut of footage in addition to the full ceremony footage is something we go back to time and time again.

Finding the perfect videographer was my #1 wedding priority and as soon as I saw the reel of Bek and Drew, I knew Nathan and Alee were the videographers for us. I booked our venue based on their availability and was so honored to have them capture our wedding day. It's hard for me to find just the right words to describe how much their service and video meant to us, but I will try! Working with them was so easy. I'm not sure what exactly I pictured it would be like, but I literally had to do nothing other than have a Facetime call so they could get to know us, tell them where and when to arrive on our wedding day, and share our timeline. Of course, they were prompt (flew in to VA a day or two before) and were so professional. It's kind of like having a fly on the wall- they were discreet and followed along with our photographer so we never really had to do any special posing for them (speaking of, I have heard stories about photogs and videogs getting territorial/not working well together but ours paired together so well- how could they not? Nathan and Alee are two of the sweetest people I have ever met). Also, I was blown away that they were able to pick up on who was 'important' and incorporated footage of those people in all reels (aunts, uncles, other family members not in the wedding party). Their attention to detail with things like that, and capturing the more subtle moments of the day, was incredible. A lot of family members considered hiring a videographer non essential, but after watching the reels, were in agreement that it was one of the best decisions we made. At least once a week, our flower girl requests her babysitter to play the feature film and at the reception bit of the video, she gets up and dances. I can't imagine not being able to relive the best day, or not being able to show it to our kids or grand kids. I will forever be Nathan and Alee's #1 fan. They stitched together the best moments of the best day into what is now our most cherished heirloom.

Nathan and his wife were very helpful with our filming. They were very professional, and we can't wait to see our film once its completed!

Hiring Nathan Willis Wedding Films was one of the best decisions we made for our big day last September! Our video is beautiful and Nathan and his wife were so sweet and easy to work with. They captured so many great shots without being intrusive at all! Everyone in our families loves the video, and we can't wait to watch it for years to come! Nathan and Alee are amazing! They are kind and willing to work with whatever you are looking for. My husband and I really wanted to get footage interviewing our friends and family to be in the video. Not only did they help us with our vision, they totally exceeded our expectations! They will capture every moment but you will also hardly even know they are there on the wedding day- which makes it a lot easier to be natural! They captured so many special moments for us that we will cherish forever. We would definitely choose them over again and again!

Nathan and Alee were wonderful and truly captured the feel of the entire day. Our wedding day seemed like it went by in the blink of an eye and it's so nice to be able to look back and relive those moments through our wedding film. As a team, the Willis' were fantastic to work with and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. They were also very considerate of our wedding photographer and worked well with everyone who was a part of the day- vendors, guests, and family (which is a major plus!). And, in the end, our video was more than perfect. The quality of the film was fantastic and you can tell Nathan puts a lot of thought and heart into his work. We would definitely recommend Nathan Willis for your wedding if you want a video that will keep the memory of your special day for a lifetime.

Nathan and Alee are a wonderful videography team! They have a very creative eye and our video truly touched everyone that watched it. We had an incredible time working with them and are so lucky that we happened to find them and their truly talented work. Nathan and Alee were absolutely amazing. Aside from phenomenal talent, they are also just a joy to be around. They aren't pushy; they don't sacrifice manners for the perfect "depth of field." They are first and foremost interested in telling your story in the best way, not showing off their skills by way of your wedding. There are a million things to worry about on your wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Nathan and Alee! They shot our wedding on a COLD winter day in Mississippi. I was a little nervous what the day would be like, with pictures, and being on film, but I never want felt their presence as intrusive and actually, it was all so natural, and they captured all of the moments so candidly and so beautifully. All of my anxiety about the awkwardness of being filmed all day simply went right away. AND THEN -- the BEST PART, is all the little films sent after the wedding, and the gorgeous festive package sent with the wedding video DVD inside. It was a great reminder to celebrate the day that meant so much to us, and went by so quickly. Thankful for a beautiful memory that will last forever because of these two!

Nathan and Alee are so creative and easy to work with. They really cared about making a video that we were happy with and went out of their way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted in our video. You can really tell how hard they work and how talented they are when you watch one of the wedding highlight videos that they have done. We were blown away by ours! It captured all of the important moments of our big day in such a unique way, and it is short enough to watch over and over! Nathan and Alee are true artists, and they are so great at what they do.

Nathan and Alee Willis were a wonderful couple to work with for our wedding cinematography. After only a few conversations, they really got to know our style, what we were looking for, and what was ultimately important to us. We felt they genuinely did their best work for us every step of the way and were very organized and professional in their planning and delivery of the final product. We trusted them whole-heartedly to let their vision blend with ours and have their artistry shine through with only a few pieces of guidance. They also worked really well with the photographers; there was no awkwardness or competing for the same ‘shot’. We could not be happier with our final product, both the short film and the longer version. To this day we re-watch both videos on random holidays and at each anniversary milestone and it tugs at our heart strings every time. The pictures are nice too, but the videos really transport us back to that day, to re-experience the same feelings all over again. While we were reluctant to budget for the film expense at first, we were so incredibly happy we did as it was, BY FAR, the BEST INVESTMENT we made on ourselves and will certainly be passed down, for our family to enjoy, for generations to come. We were so lucky to find these two, and so happy to have met them. We will forever be connected through this beautiful product that means so much to us. Where do we even start?! If you read nothing further, take away this: Hiring Nathan and Alee to capture our wedding on film was one of the best decisions we made! Genuinely. After going back and forth for awhile on whether or not to hire a videographer, we were fortunate enough that our photographer, Chad Husar, recommended Nathan and Alee to film our wedding in Chicago last summer. We literally sifted through what seemed like a million videographers and knew we had found the right one as soon as we saw Nathan and Alee's work. Not only are they two of the most genuine people we have ever met, they have this amazing, and very rare I might add, ability to capture the moments that mean the most and showcase them in the most beautiful way. For never filming in Chicago before our wedding day, our video is a true testament to just how talented these two are at bringing your surroundings, the emotion, and the moments that matter most during your wedding day to life. Their style is more journalistic in nature which really comes through in the authenticity of their finished product and was exactly what we were looking for. They are super easy to work with, professional, never got in the way of the day (I barely knew they were there, in a good way!), and worth every penny. My husband and I met Nathan two years ago when we shot a wedding together in Bermuda, where we're from, and knew that when we got married he would be our videographer - no contest! Not only is Nathan incredibly talented, he and his wife Alee are two of the nicest, most genuine people you'll meet. You want them sharing your day with you! Nathan and Alee shot our wedding, and provided both a full DVD of the event as well as a 3.5 minute "trailer" to share with our family and friends. Not only did the end result turn out BEAUTIFULLY, but my husband and I had such a blast getting to know Nathan and Alee. They were complete professionals, and bobbed and weaved throughout the day - they managed to stay semi-hidden while being right in the thick of the action for 8+ hours. Our videos turned out truly amazing; everyone with whom we've shared them has expressed such joy at the product and are as delighted as we are that Nathan and Alee captured such wonderful, personal moments that we can - thanks to them - revisit as often as we like. Nathan is more than a videographer - he is a story teller. I remember watching our highlight video for the first time and being filled with emotion. He did such a great job of telling the story of our wedding weekend and capturing all of the love and emotions surrounding the weekend. We were his first Indian/South Asian wedding and I am so glad we took a chance on him because I don't think anyone else could have done better.

I, like any person, am at first weary of a 5.0 rating. Could a person/experience really be perfect? I promise that Nathan Willis is worth way more than you pay, and his work is truly incredible. I knew I wanted a video to capture my day, but what I received is so much more. The video manages to capture the perfect blend of beauty, fun, and true representation of the feeling of that day. I have watched it every day since it was posted to his blog. It never gets old. He is beyond professional. When I watch the video, I am still amazed at the shots he got because I don't even remember him being there during those moments. You will be thrilled with Nathan and his product. STOP SEARCHING!! You have found your videographer!! Seriously! As an engineering PhD student, I know what it is to do serious research. I researched TONS of videographers for our wedding, not only in Houston but in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding cities. I considered video quality, costs (including hidden fees, which Nathan Willis Wedding Films have NONE), equipment, location, time frames, reviews, the list goes on and on. With this in mind, I can confidently tell you that Nathan and Alee, hands down, are the best in the business. They were friendly, quick to reply to my inquiries, and have a cost that's very reasonable for the phenomenal services they provide. During my search I noticed a trend among videographers... Either they were cheap and produced rinky dinky videos or they charged an outrageous cost (upwards of $8000? Really?) for videos that weren't anywhere NEAR as good as Nathan Willis Wedding Films. At our wedding, Nathan and Alee were very unobtrusive. They worked seamlessly and without any disturbance to the day's schedule. Yet, somehow they managed to capture all of the important moments and so much more. When my husband and I watched our wedding videos, we were very surprised with all the shots they caught. There were tons of scenes where we didn't know they were filming, but we are so glad they were! Nathan Willis Wedding Films even met all of our nitpicky, overly analytical requests about song choice, order of the video, the romantic, dreamy feel I wanted, etc. They even sent us a cute custom package.
