Our wedding was a celebration of love... and of logistical complexity! It involved our party of 80 checking in, and their luggage, at LA Union Station, and guiding them onto the tr...
ain, and then onto the reception in San Diego. During the planning process, Michele proposed that we actually check luggages all the way to our guests' room, and have them pre-checked into their hotel rooms, both of which were fantastic ideas which really improved the experience for our guests and allowed them to have a great time. She made sure the shuttling of luggage to the right hotels and rooms happened without a hitch. We had tasked her with designing the reception so it had a mid-century lounge vibe, and she and her team went above and beyond, procuring special plants that spoke to the Southern California locale, as well as finding niche suppliers for various details.
All in all, Nation Event Design was the team player we needed in orchestrating this complex and successful event.
Michele was amazing!!! We had the perfect day and it was all due to her. She suggested vendors and helped in the organization of our big day. The day of our wedding went so smoothl...
y, it is exactly what I expected from a wedding planner. She was perfect! If you need someone to help you plan your big day and make sure the day goes great please use Nation Events! Michele will help make your day come true. Thanks Michele!
Michele was an amazing wedding planner. In addition to being very detailed oriented, she was very communicative, accommodating, and understanding. She knew when to handle the detai...
ls on our behalf, and when to pull us in for our input. She came with great referrals for all of the other parties needed to throw a wedding ceremony. Planning for a wedding is always a bit stressful, but on the day-of, I was worry-free about the ceremony and reception -- it all went off without a single hitch.
Michele is a wonderful event planner. Going into this, my then fiance and I didn't know lickety-split about planning a party, we needed help! Michele provided us a checklist of dea...
dlines and a list of potential vendors and gathered quotes for us, which helped IMMENSELY. Each vendor we interviewed was hired on the spot. That is how impressed we were with Michele's vendor suggestions. There were some bumps along the way that Michele made easy for us:
To save money, I went to COSTCO armed with only a MasterCard and put $400 worth of wedding stuff on the conveyor when I realized they only accept VISA. I almost melted. Michele saved my butt when she covered the bill and let us write her a check!
I didn't listen to Michele when she warned me about taking on too many DIY projects. I ended up wigging out when I didn't have enough time to complete everything and Michele saved me again.
I highly recommend Michele to plan your big event, she is professional, fun, and easy to worth with. Her goal is to make sure your event is exactly how you imagine and to make planning it as stress-free as possible.
My husband and I were very happy with the end result. Michele deserves much more than what she charges!
Honestly, I don’t know where to begin with the services I received from Nation Event Design. From the first day we sat down and met to talk about my wedding with Michele from Nati...
on Event Design, she was not only super attentive but also understood the look we were going for. The theme for our wedding was Rustic Mexican and Michele knew exactly how to make it not only fun but also tasteful. She put together an inspiration board based off the photos my husband and I had found and honestly on the day of my wedding it was like watching my inspiration board come to life. From taco tasting to table décor, every detail was spot on! She is so creative and not to mention has amazing artistic skills which is a plus. Not to mention, she is great at communication and keeps you informed every step of the way. Til this day we still get so many compliments for how great our wedding turned out. Plus who doesn’t love a wedding planner that will go out with you for tacos! 😊
Not only did I LOVE having Michele coordinating on the day of our wedding, I actually got tons of compliments from my GUESTS! She is extremely professional, thorough, and prompt. I...
booked her for day-of coordination and she helped with our rehearsal dinner as well. I can't thank her and recommend her enough. She is really a great person to work with!

enjoy the wedding. As the mother of the groom, I actually witnessed a beautiful wedding, ate dinner, and danced!! Beforehand she made sure we prepared for every detail. I have 2 more single sons and Michelle will be the first and only wedding planner I call!!! Thank you so very much Nation Event Design!!! XOXOXO
Where do I begin?!?! From the very start Michelle and I clicked so when I was overwhelmed with so many details I was very comfortable trusting Michelle with making decisions for me...
. Her ability to take what I thought was my confusing requests as to what I wanted the overlook look and feel of my wedding day and turn it into more than I could have ever imagined! She brought my sophisticated, elegant and simple vision to life. I'm so grateful for her expertise, her creativity and her ability to go above and beyond in every way possible!

to many vendors and works hard to negotiate the best price so the bride and groom don't have to. She completely removed any stress and anxiety I had over wedding planning! Her attitude, energy, taste and skills are amazing!!!! The best thing I did for my wedding was work with Savvy Soirée! Suher you are best and we are sooooo lucky to have found you!!! Michele and Suher or my fairy godmothers, as I like to call them, are absolutely amazing! It took just one sit down for them to truly understand our vision and got to work right aw...
ay. They have respected our budget and have kept us within those parameters which is really important to the two of us. They have accompanied us to every single vendor meeting. They do not take over the meeting they are there for your benefit. They make sure your vision is being understood and take care of all the confusing logistics that this industry entails. Michele and Suher are very easy to reach even when it is 1AM and you have an idea, either one of them will get back to you in a matter of seconds. There are times that no words have to be said for them to understand what we are thinking. We love the relationship we have developed with these two amazing ladies. I would definitely recommend Savvy Soiree LLC for your next event especially if it's to make your "Once Upon a Time" into a "Happily Ever After."
