This place has no value nor anything great about it. The campus is dirty as well, poorly maintained, and clearly neglected by staff who don’t seem to care about people or the envir...

Outstanding experience! Scott & his entire team were the epitome of professionalism & warmth. The venue is beautiful, food delicious, and service wonderful. Highly recommend!
I could not say enough positive things about the National Croquet Center. We hosted our wedding here in January and it was a PERFECT day! Our wedding venue cancelled on us one week...
before the wedding, and Scott and the National Croquet Center team stepped up and helped us put together an amazing wedding in the days leading up to the wedding. They were so flexible and I could not be more thankful for what they helped us pull together. Scott was an expert on all things wedding and had a seamless plan put in place for us. I recommend 100%.

When we toured NCC for the first time I had to hide my excitement as soon as we walked in; I knew it was the place. The fee is also reasonable.
Beautiful large clubhouse which ...
you will have exclusive access to after closing on your big day. Gorgeous green lawn, wide wrap-around veranda (porch), and French doors all around in back gave us the indoor/outdoor feel we wanted without worrying about the threat of weather. The tall hedges around the grounds give you privacy and a great background for photos.
Vintage-looking touches at your disposal, such as leather lounge chairs and elegant wooden tables.
Working with Scott was great. He understands how to make things look nice and feel elegant. He accommodated our special requests and met with us to go over last minute details. He communicated pretty promptly through email as well. Just call if you need a quicker reply. Unfortunately, Scott, who we did most of the planning with, ended up not being our day-of coordinator so I cannot speak to his skills there. We contracted originally with the previous planner there, Sandy, so she came back to be our coordinator.
Some tips I'd give future brides:
Take extra time for photos, and early, because there's not a good holding area for your guests to not see you.
If you do your own decor, have someone who knows how the décor should look assist with the staff set up. It just goes very quickly and you wont have time to look.
There is little time for the staff to set up after the croquet fields close. So warn your photographer they may have to wait to get pics of details, like centerpieces and photo displays.
Some of the furniture and stuff has to stay, so just be aware and let them know if you particularly want something removed.
Somehow get your guests to enjoy cocktail hour lounging around rather than by going straight to their tables!
Make sure your DJ has equipment to accommodate if you want to do toasts on the porch but dancing inside (ours did, but it could have been a problem)
The National Croquet Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had a garden theme and the green grass lawn was the perfect view for guests seated on the veranda for dinner. ...
It was as if we were in our own private mansion for the night with the reception on the lawn. It was an intimate space just for us with so many interesting elements for guests to enjoy from the house and the history to the croquet and dancing.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating through the planning process. They let us come in multiple times to look at the space and plan our decor and were always willing to make our ideas work - highly recommend!!
i cannot say enough wonderful things about having our wedding at the croquet center. that staff went above and beyond ever step of the way!
This setting was absolutely perfect for our wedding reception. We had wonderful weather for dinner on the veranda and left all the french door open to give a nice breeze on the dan...
ce floor. Sandy was so nice and helpful with every step of this process. All I had to do on my wedding day was just show up. She took care of directing everyone else for me, and packed all our things at the end of the night. She definately made our wedding experience trouble free.
The entire staff were professional, helpful and efficient yet very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable and happy. Everything was set up beautifully and just as I had imagi...
ned it, so they really came through for me and made the picture and in my head a reality. They did exactly what I wanted and were very happy to make any changes if necessary. I cannot say enough great things about the cite, staff and the club itself.
