National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library

The museum was such a beautiful venue and Sarah was amazing to work with. We live overseas and she continuously kept in contact through email and met with us when we got to Cedar Rapids in mid-December. We had a NYE evening wedding and it was beautiful. I highly recommend this venue for the ceremony and/or reception. They helped our big day run smoothly and we loved every moment.

The Czech museum was the perfect location for our wedding this past April. Working with Sarah was amazing and she was so helpful. She took so much stress off of my husband and I during wedding planning and day of needs. The staff and bartenders were extremely friendly and helped with any requests. So happy we went with the museum for our big day, keeping everything in one place made the day go that much more smooth.

We had our wedding and reception at the Czech and Slovak Museum and it went wonderfully. We booked the museum over a year ahead of time and throughout the entire planning process I was in constant communication with staff members anytime I had a question, no matter how crazy it was. I knew from the get go I wanted a sophisticated, comfortable venue where we could throw a great party and keep our guests happy and that definitely happened! We paid a little extra to decorate the night before and it made our day so much easier! Sarah helped us with everything, including set up beforehand, adding an extra table when I forgot one, you name it. I never hesitated to ask Sarah and the rest of the staff and they knew how to handle everything. Everyone from the bartenders to the museum staff who assisted with guests going through the exhibits was amazing and very friendly. We could not be happier with our experience!

We had our wedding at the museum this past September and it was amazing! The staff was so friendly and great to work with, they were very accommodating to us. We had so many questions and Shanel was very patient and answered all of our questions and concerns. The staff was so organized and efficient that it really made our day go very smoothly. We had so many compliments on our venue, on how unique and pretty it was. I just love our ceremony pictures from the grand hall, the backdrop is stunning. Would recommend the museum to anyone with a special event!

My wife and I got married here during the cold month of November -- and it was beautiful and classy without being pretentious. Both of us couldn't be happier with the venue and the event staff.

You don't want to miss this place if you're in the Cedar Rapids area! It is the most beautiful building, and the event planner for the building makes sure you have everything you need. It was the wedding of my dreams, and I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful!!
