Aloha! My name is Ian Aliʻinoa Aquino (Kahu Aliʻinoa), a native Hawaiian and cultural practitioner, born and raised on the island of Maui. Your wedding day is more than a moment; it's the beginning of a legacy, a memory woven into the fabric of your love story. As your officiant, my role is to honor this moment—not only with words but with the spirit of Hawaiʻi itself.
Imagine the gentle sound of a conch shell (pū) echoing through the breeze, a Hawaiian chant (oli) welcoming you into this journey together, or the soft strum of a ʻukulele filling the air with warmth and joy. As a native Hawaiian, fluent in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language), a school teacher, and a professional musician (Old Lahaina Lūʻau), I am deeply rooted in my culture and community.
With several years of officiating and countless couples joined in matrimony, I bring a blend of elegance, warmth, and tradition. Every ceremony I perform is customized to honor your unique connection, whether you dream of a purely Hawaiian tradition or a blend that reflects your personal story. Picture a ceremony that's as unforgettable as the love you share. Let's create an experience that will live on—not just in your memories but in your hearts.

We’re so grateful we found Kahu Ali'inoa for our friends’ beach elopement. He was super sweet and made the whole moment feel magical while keeping everything easy, comfortable, and relaxed.
He blended a Hawaiian ceremony with some European touches, and his ukulele playing added a sweet, delicate layer to the ceremony, making an already meaningful moment even more touching — absolutely beautiful.
We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. Highly recommend! 💛
