I don’t wear makeup often so I was nervous that I would look too different or not like myself, but that was not the case at all and I loved how both my hair and makeup turned out! If you’re looking for a more natural look you will love her. We had a huge variety of hair types and styles, from very fine/thin hair to super curly/thick hair, and she was able to style them all beautifully. She is also easy to communicate with and was flexible with our scheduling/timing needs, while also making sure that we were all ready on time. Not only is Amber an amazingly talented artist, but she is also so kind and just a great person to have with you on your wedding morning. Everyone loved her and we had a blast getting ready. I can’t recommend her enough for weddings and/or for your regular haircuts!

ery straight and soft, so it's very difficult to hold curls. I really wanted to have my hair down for my wedding and Amber prepped everything with my hair so well. I was super impressed with how the curls held up throughout the day. Amber also knew I was disappointed when my florist forgot to bring small flowers to put in my hair, and she gave us the suggestion to have someone grab a small bouquet from Kroger and use that instead. I would have never thought to do this without her there and I was so happy I was still able to have flowers in my hair to keep my vision for the day. My MOH chose to do an updo from Amber and it was GORGEOUS. Her hair held up the entire night and she even slept on it and it still looked good the next morning. Lizzie was the assistant Amber brought to help with makeup, and she was such a gem for dealing with me. I'm very difficult when it comes to makeup, and Lizzie never once complained when I went back and forth on what I wanted in our trials. I even decided the day of the wedding that I wanted an entirely different makeup look, and Lizzie had no problem with it. She listened to what I wanted and the final look was beautiful and very natural looking. I still looked like myself on my wedding day, and the makeup lasted throughout the night. My mom and bridesmaids all looked beautiful and loved the work they did! Thank you Amber and Lizzie for everything!

And you still look like you!!" which I think sums it up well. She offered a consultation appointment prior to our wedding, and I highly recommend taking advantage of that opportunity. In addition to working with me to find the right look, she gave me some pointers on how to improve my skin hydration , which over time has made my skin happier and healthier. I especially appreciate her kindness and flexibility during times when our wedding date had to change.

bridal party was getting, it was a very nice touch. I showed her pictures of the styles I wanted, and she made everything look amazing! Amber uses nice and gentle makeup products, which was great for mine and my sister's sensitive skin. She's very detail oriented and quick to respond to make sure you are pleased as a customer. She was able to accommodate everyone getting their hair and makeup done, with no worry of running over the allotted time. She handled it all herself, and it seemed like she was in three places at once. She made me look like the best and most beautiful version of myself. She is an artist, and I only have good things to say about her!

Her prices are reasonable and since we were in Ann Arbor there were no travel fees, however she has a minimum of $400 (easy for us). e photos of me and some ideas, brought them the day of and described the vibe and bam it happened (with some tweaks to the makeup, but just speak up and they can change it!). They did a number of different hair and makeup looks on my bridesmaids and some other family members, and I think everyone got what they wanted, these ladies can do quite a range. The only inconvenient part is that it was cash only, which is not fun to deal with on a wedding day.
