I have naturally curly hair and don’t wear makeup in my normal life, so I was nervous that I would be uncomfortable having so many unfamiliar products on my face/in my hair. But both Kaitlyn and Bailey did an amazing job of making sure I both looked great and felt comfortable on my wedding day. (I genuinely forgot I was wearing false eyelashes! That’s how skilled Bailey is as a MUA.) Both of them styled me in a way that drew out my best features and helped me look like the most naturally beautiful version of myself, which was exactly what I wanted. They also worked some sort of magic to ensure my hair and makeup stayed put ALL DAY—both hair and makeup still looked perfect when I went to bed at 4 am on my wedding night, despite all the walking, crying, dancing, eating, drinking, and sweating I did that day. On a different note, I was amazed by how efficiently Kaitlyn was able to style my entire bridal party’s hair (including my 5 bridespeople, my mom, and two groomswomen—9 women total, plus she trimmed my husband’s mustache!) while still making sure everyone got the style they wanted and looked gorgeous. Same goes for Bailey’s talents with my two bridesmaids who chose to have their makeup done. Finally, Melissa was great about communicating clearly and promptly and taking care to get all the details right, from the initial consultation all the way to the wedding day itself. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup service and wholeheartedly recommend Naturally You to any bride!

Their team showed up promptly on our wedding day to set up and was efficient with our time. They made all of my bridesmaids look like their best, natural selves. They handled a range of skin tones, sensitivities and freckles, which was important to me when I selected them. Our makeup looked flawless all day and required little to no touch-ups! I considered doing my own hair and makeup, but I am so glad I didn't. They gave us all makeup looks that were fit for photos and longlasting wear.

My hair trial also went well and both Kayla and Skylar were very responsive to what I envisioned for our day. I wanted to tweak something with my hair in particular, and Skylar was quick to make that change. Like most people, I have a full time job so I was worried that I would have to take time off from work to have a hair and makeup trial, but that wasn't the case. Naturally You Artistry offers hair/makeup trials during the evening hours on Tuesdays which is perfect for those who work and made the process that much easier. Melissa, the founder of Naturally you Artistry, was also wonderful to work with. Although I was unable to formally meet her, we communicated often via email and Melissa was quick to respond, answered any questions I had and she lets her team know if there are any changes you might have before the big day. I can't recommend the Naturally You Artistry team enough to anyone getting married or needing special event hair/makeup. Thank you, Melissa, Skylar and Kayla!

Kayla put this beautiful matte lipstick on me at 11:30am and it was still perfectly on my face at midnight!
