I cannot praise, acknowledge, or recommend Que enough for doing my hair as well as two of my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. She is absolutely incredible and I have never loved my hair so much. prior to the wedding, she did a color correction for my hair that had been very messed up from a colorist in New York City where I live. She knew exactly how to fix it and made an extremely picky hair person (me haha) the happiest I have ever been at a salon. The day of the wedding she went more than above and beyond with making sure I looked perfect during the ceremony and reception. I was in awe of how much she helped out and did more than was required of her. I am so grateful and from now on will be saving all of my hair needs for when I visit my family in Charlotte because she is the absolute best. Thank you again Que for everything!

Que was incredible for our wedding! She helped me, my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law with both hair and makeup and it all came out great! She was so nice and everyone in my party loved her, both her styling and her personality. She took into account what everyone wanted and how she managed to get us all done alone I still don't know. She was simply the best! I would definitely recommend her to others!

Before I get into the details… let me just start by saying Que’s creativity and innovation saved the day! After every bride choses her dress one of the next big questions is… HOW am I going to style my hair?? This question is especially a double conundrum if you are having a destination wedding away from your beloved hair stylist AND have natural hair. AKA (afro textured hair). If your honeymoon is a beach destination, will you a) Pack ALL of your creams,custards, gels, and tools and leave your newly wedded hubbie to entertain himself as you lock yourself in the hotel bathroom for a few hours as you groom our locks EVERY NIGHT?? Or b) Decide to “wash and go” which for some naturals (aka me and my 4C hair) isn’t quite as easy breezy as the technique implies. So what is an adventure seeking scuba diving natural girl do?? - Crochet braids. too heavy, not a flawless finish, and not water sport friendly. - Weave? Ummmm I’m not about to spend $1000 on hair and installation only to get sand and salt water in it! NEXT - Braids…on a normal vacation absolutely! But not really the look I wanted for my wedding. Wait what about a lace front wig?? And this is when Que The Stylist enters the room. After consulting with Que and explaining all the above to her, her creative mind got to working… she came up with a game plan that literally made me jump for joy! Applying the technique that films and theater stylists use to make sure their characters have the flawless hair on set, she suggested we PRE-style my lace front wig in her salon in Charlotte, place that pre-styled wig on a foam head and simply have it attached at my wedding destination. That was the epitome of a WIN-WIN! As so that is how the story goes… Que expertly prepped and styled my wig in Charlotte,NC, then set that wig on a foam head securely in a easy to carry box and I walked out her salon with my hair “DID” The day of my wedding I didn’t have the stress and expense of having a stylist come to me and I didn’t have the worry of not liking my hair. After the wedding I removed my wig, added some hair gems to my Fulani inspired cornrows underneath and was beach ready in 1 easy step! Que is a personable and creative wedding hair stylist I highly recommend her!

For my special day, I needed help with makeup and hair ... and wanted a look that matched my dress style and outdoor wedding venue. I was able to share my vision (admittedly, a narrowed vision so I needed HELP from someone that was creative!) and Que was just the inspiration I was seeking! Que knew what questions to ask, shared ideas to help me define my vision, and was able to fulfill that vision beyond what I could have imagined. Que came to the venue and was able to engage with our group and have such a fun time while meeting all of our hair and makeup needs!! The proof of Que’s work is in the pictures of our special day! Everything was so beautiful. We’d recommend Que to help fulfill all your dreams for your special day!!
