I had the most amazing experience at Nazemi Bridal. I found my beautiful dress there. They helped me customize my dream wedding gown and design the most special veil using lace from my mom’s dress.

Absolutely 100% would recommend Nazemi Bridal for wedding dress alterations! From my very first appointment I felt I was in great hands. My dress was two different pieces (a top and a skirt) and both were overall too big/long. Tannaz knew exactly where to hem and what parts to take in, and she showed me different bustle options she could do as well. To top was full of very delicate beading and when she took the sides in, I could barely tell anything was altered, her work was that good! She made the whole process a great experience and she is extremely talented!

Amazing service! I had a last minute dress change and Nazemi was able to fit me into her schedule and complete all alterations in just a few weeks. A little pricey but not much more than other alteration services in the DC suburbs, and Nazemi's location is much more convenient for those living in DC.

I absolutely recommend Nazemi Bridal. Their boutique is so cute, you have plenty of privacy and most importantly their customer service is impeccable. I had to get my dress shortened, take in from the bust, and get a bustle. I had a total of three visits, all within two weeks of each other. By the last fitting everything looked perfect. I have my dress ready with plenty of time left for the wedding date. Once I have my wedding I’ll post the wonderful work that they did. I definitely recommend!!!!

Did a phenomenal job! I had a last minute elopement and they squeezed me in two months out. I wasn't sure if my sleeves could get altered, but they exceed my expectations. They are so sweet with amazing customer service and I am so happy with my dress!!

Nazemi Bridal did a phenomenal job with their alterations. Violeta was a great help and they made my dress just right for me. I unexpectedly had to swap my shoes after the second fitting and they quickly made alterations so the dress would for my new shoes. Very fast and quick help, worth every penny.

After a terrible experience with picking up my gown from the bridal atelier down the street, my friend and wedding planner recommended Nazemi for alterations. Wow, what a lovely experience. Incredibly accommodating when it came to appointment times. I was able to share some of the alterations experience with my bridesmaids. The alterations were perfect. My dress was strapless and incredibly comfortable (not too tight, not falling down) for the entirety of my wedding. Felt like a vision in my dress!

Tannaz did a lovely job altering my dress - she brought in the sides quite a bit, added cups, shortened the hem, and added a bustle. I had three fittings and each time Tannaz took the time and care to make sure she got things right. Her services are pricey but the peace of mind that my dress was in the hands of a real pro was worth it to me. For future alterations of any important garments, I'd have no hesitations working with Tannaz again!

Truly incredible work and service! If you're a bride-to-be in the DC/MD/VA area, you really won't find a better bridal salon than Nazemi Bridal for all your alteration needs. Tannaz went above and beyond to make my wedding gown the perfect fit! I greatly appreciated that she took the time to listen to what I was looking for in terms of alterations during both my 1st AND 2nd fittings to make sure I had the dress of my dreams by the last fitting. I also loved having 1-on-1 personalized attention during each of my appointments, which is exactly what a bride-to-be needs during the wedding gown alteration process. I could instantly tell that Tannaz actually cared about her clients looking and feeling their best, whereas many other bridal salons will rush through fittings and not make any specific recommendations. For example, when Tannaz noticed that the sewn-in cups the designer of my gown used weren't the best quality compared to the gown itself, she offered to replace them so I would have more shape and support. A small detail like this (which I completely overlooked) made a huge difference in the way my dress looked on me. I am so thankful for her unparalleled attention to detail and impeccable service. When I picked up my gown during the week of my wedding, Tannaz had my gown fully steamed and carefully wrapped so it would be wrinkle-free and flawless on my wedding day. My wedding gown fit better than I ever could have imagined, and it's all thanks to Nazemi Bridal! I highly recommend for all your wedding alteration needs.

They are the best! When I picked up my dress from the shop where I bought it, it was too small (despite them taking my exact measurements and me losing 10 pounds)… Nazemi Bridal saved the day. They did the most perfect job with the alterations to give me more breathing room, and it looked flawless. I honestly thought they hadn’t done the alterations because it looked so good! I was a Covid bride, so I had 2 weddings and I went back to Nazemi Bridal a second time to have them bustle my dress. Again, amazing. Super easy to work with and done very quickly.

Amazing work! Since it is located in Georgetown, it is on the more expensive end, however, the work is impeccable! I had my dress hemmed, added a French bustle, added buttons down the entire back and added a belt. All of my appointments were seamless. You automatically get 3 appointments and more if needed. They are well spaced out for any body and fit changes. My dress was always ready for me to try on and the appointments went smoothly. I never had to worry about my dress being beautiful and ready on time.

I really felt like a bride on my wedding day, even though we ended up having a very small, low-key ceremony because of covid. I highly recommend her services! Quick turn-around too.

At first, I had had an alteration appointment scheduled with a tailor closer to my place, but when my dress came in and it wouldnt button, I decided to go to Nazemi who is a wedding dress specialist. I was so nervous that she was going to look at me in the dress and tell me I had ordered the wrong size, but she didn't even blink and went about pinning the dress in a way that made it all come together in the back. In addition to shortening the waist, they also did the hem, the bustle, and the changed out the cups to match my skin and shape better. It was more than I initially budgeted for alterations, but I would pay it all over again because they literally performed a miracle with the dress and made me feel absolutely beautiful on our big day. Plus, their kindness and attention to their customers is unrivaled. So grateful for their help and expertise!

I went to Nazemi Bridal for my dress alterations and while slightly more expensive than I was anticipating (although that is maybe to be expected!), they were so nice to work with and did an absolutely beautiful job, fixing the fit of the top, shortening the length, and adding a bustle. My dress fit like a dream! They also steamed my dress and veil and wrapped it up to be transported safely and arrived wrinkle-free for my wedding day. It was a stress-free experience and I had complete confidence that my dress would turn out beautifully (which that alone is honestly worth every penny!). I would absolutely choose Nazemi again and recommend them!

Nazemi Bridal cannot be beaten for alterations! I had my wedding dress altered here (column shape, lace top and silk skirt, with it taken in on the sides and a French bustle added) and it was flawless! I also took my friend to have her dress altered here in recent months, and though her dress needed more complex alterations, it too came out perfect. Tenaz and her team are so wonderful and professional, and make every penny spent here worth it.

I thankfully found Nazemi Bridal after a terrible experience at another tailor in Shaw. They were able to get me in for an early morning consult, and completely set my mind at ease that they could do all the work (and there was a lot!). The dress needed to be hemmed, taken in and taken up at the shoulders. The work they did was spectacular- the dress fit beautifully. The fittings were all wonderful experiences and the final product was amazing. You absolutely get an exceptional quality for the price. I highly recommend, you will be thrilled with how beautiful their work is and how you'll feel the day of your wedding!

Nazemi Bridal is the place to go for dress or alterations needs. They recently altered two bridesmaids dresses for me, and they did a wonderful job on both. One needed to be cut off and hemmed and taken in under the arm and the other needed substantial work done on the top and in the shoulders. I was comfortable in my dress thanks to their great work and sewing knowledge and am looking forward to wearing the other soon! I would 100% recommend Nazemi to anyone! They also have a beautiful store and friendly smiling faces!

Nazemi Bridal is seriously the best when it comes to alterations! I came in earlier in the year to get a bridesmaid dress altered and they did it easily without problem. The fit came out perfect and they were great with giving recommendations on what alterations should be done. I later made an appointment to get my own wedding dress altered as well. My dress was HUGE on me (size 12, bought at a sample sale), and they had no issue making it fit me like a perfect size 6! My dress had tons of lace, delicate beading, and a long train with details at the end, and they were able to keep all these amazing parts of the dress while making it fit wonderfully. Nazemi Bridal was wonderful to work with!

I had a wonderful experience with Tannaz and her team at Nazemi Bridal. I had a fitting in May, June, and July for my August wedding, and she was professional, kind, and helpful. Her shop is beautiful and she knows exactly what alterations to make to help you look your best. I had no idea how to bustle a dress but she showed me a few options to choose between. We ended up going with a french bustle that had nine ribbons, but she made it easy for me to learn how to put them all together. My dress came back completely clean with no visible seams, and she also gave me advice for steaming and pressing the dress before the big day. I got so many compliments on my dress and felt absolutely amazing in it all night.

The Nazemi Team did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. The team was thoughtful and accommodating, and scheduled me for a fourth fitting when I requested some additional boning be added to make the dress look more seamless. The team did this at no extra cost, and restructured the dress perfectly. My dress ended up fitting me like a glove, and I received so many compliments on the fit. While the cost of my tailoring was higher than I expected, the resulting alterations were well worth the price.

Nazemi Bridal put all my worries at ease and made me love my dress. I knew as soon as I bought my dress online that it was the dress for me, and felt just as amazing in it when I tried it on in the store and bought it. However, I purchased a size too large, so when it arrived I was so worried that I had made the wrong choice and that I would look plain and wouldn't feel special in it on my wedding day. As soon as I walked into Nazemi Bridal, I felt calmer. The studio is beautiful, clean, and well lit, with spacious changing rooms and large mirrors. Tanaaz is bubbly, enthusiastic, and welcoming. I came for three fittings, and had a lot of work done on my dress - hemmed, taken up at the shoulders and in along the sides, cups put in, bustle added, a hook reinforcement for the back clasp, a few more tweaks here and there, and a fresh steam/press. I also had my matron of honor's dress hemmed here. Each visit when I tried on my dress, I fell more and more in love with it again. Tanaaz was careful with her changes, originally pinning some areas, but then deciding to wait until the second visit to see if a certain area needed to be taken in more or not. She pointed out certain tweaks that would help the dress fit so that it skimmed all my curves, and made additional adjustments after the second fitting. The work was beautiful, and my dress fit perfectly! Tanaaz also helped advise on undergarments that wouldn't show funky lines or bunches through my form-hugging dress! The work was pricey, but having visited another tailor for my sister's wedding and considering the amount of work done on my dress, I felt it was very fair and worth every penny!

Unlike other vendors who made me feel guilty about my procrastination and said that there would be rush fees, Tannaz at Nazemi Bridal was so positive and flexible. I was able to make the three appointments at times convenient with my busy work schedule. Going into the studio always put me in a great mood. Their work on my entirely beaded dress was amazing. They brought up the hem, brought in the waist, removed cap sleeves, and added a unique bustle. I never felt like they were trying to up-sell me, and it was always evident that they had my best interests at heart. Tannaz gave me honest advice - explaining why I didn't need additional alterations that I thought were necessary. She also gave me great style advice on which shoes worked best. I ordered my veil last-minute from Nazemi, and without giving them any direction, they produced the absolute perfect veil to match my dress. Go with Nazemi for your bridal alterations. You'll rest easy at night knowing that you can trust them!

The ladies of Nazemi Bridal worked miracles with my dress, which arrived to them HUGE and nowhere near fitting! It ended up fitting absolutely perfectly. I initially balked at the price quoted, but after speaking with friends on bridal alterations they had done and considering the amount of work + three fittings that went into my alterations, I'm confident I got a good deal on my lace dress. Nazemi Bridal is the absolute best!!! Where to start? I came here to get alterations for my wedding dress because of the incredible reviews. It exceeded all of my expectations!!! At my very first fitting, we realized that yellow spots had appeared all over my dress (every bride’s worst nightmare). Apparently, despite the fact that my dress designer has an incredible reputation, she used yellow glue in order to paste the floral appliqué on the dress. While the dress looked perfect when I bought it, the yellow glue eventually started dripping so by the time I brought it to Nazemi Bridal for the first time I was horrified to discover yellow fluorescent spots everywhere! Tannaz was the most calming and helpful person in the entire world!! She reassured me that everything would be fine, and offered to remove floral appliqué on the bottom of the dress and sew them by hand on the remaining spots. I cannot tell you how many phone calls I had with Tannaz about this matter, and how patient and caring she was each time I called. She even called me back one time to discuss the dress while she was on her vacation abroad! The manufacturer ended up fixing the yellow, but they cut too much on the bottom in order to get rid of yellow fabric there. Again, when I discovered this right before I was getting ready to leave to my wedding destination, Tannaz and her team said not to worry! They worked around the clock for the two days before I left DC to add more floral appliqué to the bottom so that my feet wouldn’t show and I could even wear heels. The dress turned out absolutely gorgeous and they tailored it to fit perfectly!!! I am so grateful to Tannaz and her team and I could not recommend them more!! Whatever wedding crisis arises, it will be great to have them in your corner!

My dress fit me absolutely perfectly! I was nervous about finding someone who could completely change the fit of my dress. Nazemi Bridal took care of every little detail I wanted fixed and I felt amazing in my dress on my wedding day.

Nazemi Bridal was great to work with for my alterations. I didn't need too many alterations (I think just shortening the straps, taking in a little at the waist, and adding bra pads). The lace on my dress was very intricate but I couldn't even tell it had been touched after she finished! She also was patient with my mom and me as we tried to decide which bustle looked best with my dress--she pinned it both ways several times. Only downsides are parking can be hard and it was a bit confusing to find the studio.

I debated getting my wedding dress taken in around the waist and ultimately decided to do so about a month before our wedding, so didn't have much time. Tannaz (owner) was able to fit me in the next day to assess the situation. She not only suggested taking the dress in but suggested a few additional tweaks to make the dress more form fitting. She quoted me $100 less than the store I bought the dress from did, and was able to turn around the alterations in one week! She was very professional, her store in Georgetown is gorgeous, and was a pleasure to work with! I trusted her completely and the dress looked wonderful, even though the alteration was done around delicate lace.

I purchased my wedding dress from a vendor in Georgetown and received a list of vendors that they recommended for alterations for my wedding dress. I called each of the vendors to get an estimate of what my dress alterations would cost, half of the vendors were unresponsive and the other half were unhelpful and even downright RUDE! Nazemi Bridal was the ONE vendor that actually took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable to trust them with my wedding dress. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars because Tannaz and her staff were amazing, I would recommend Nazemi Bridal to all brides. The whole process was easy and all alterations were completed on time. I had several fittings, each went smoothly, and again, all of my questions were answered. On top of their amazing service, their pricing is fair and reasonable compared to what my friends in the area have paid for their bridal alterations. I am lucky to have found Tannaz and her staff, they gave me peace of mind that my wedding dress would be perfect on my wedding day. If you are a bride, do yourself a favor and work with Nazemi Bridal :)
