Gil was amazing! He was very responsive and did an amazing job. It was a perfect wedding!

We used Fran and Gil for our September 2017 wedding at Turtle Bay for DJ and MC services and they did SUCH an amazing job (which is high praise from a super type A bride from the mainland who used to throw events as a career). They came as a recommendation from a friend who got married at the same venue about a year earlier and I could not have been more pleased. They contacted me within 24 hours of shooting them an email and were always responsive to any questions that we had throughout the process. One thing that I was not sure about was the fact that they were always rather insistent on talking on the phone or in person when the time came. However, I should have trusted that they knew what they were doing! Chatting with them and meeting them were a blast and I am so glad that we did it. FYI they send you a questionnaire to you to complete before your big day that details all of the things that all of the blogs say that you should talk about with your DJ (What songs do you want before the ceremony? During the cocktail hour? What don't you want played? Etc.) The music was one of THE most important things for us in our wedding. It sets the tone of EVERY party. We were not about to spend all that money and not throw a good party lol. The dance floor was packed all night long, which is saying something because we had a very....eclectic set of music requests. My fiance's family is basically rednecks who are into country, our friends who are all EDM all the time, my family who are in to 70s music, and us who love all of the above and hiphop and disco. Gil did a seamless job with blending all of the above and was a charismatic MC. The only thing that I regret was not telling them in person the night of how grateful we were for their services. I would 100% use them again if I had to do it all over again and would not hesitate recommending them to a friend. The only thing I would change would be saying thank you in person. I can't say enough good things about N-D Mixx. Gil was such a treat to work with, especially considering we were throwing so many new things at him! We had a combined Sikh/Christian wedding with several traditions that Gil wasn't familiar with. We don't live in Hawaii so most of our correspondence before the wedding was via email. When we arrived on Oahu Gil made the trip up to the North Shore to meet with us and wanted to be absolutely sure he was crystal clear on the entire schedule, all the rituals, and anything extra we wanted to add to our celebrations. I felt so comforted that he was being so thorough with any questions and comments; he clearly wanted to be as on the ball as possible. Both my husband and I had surprises for one another that we had to involve Gil on, and he was great at keeping each of us in the dark about the other's plans! He was so patient with us, unbelievably friendly, and all around such an easy and wonderful vendor to work with. I'd recommend N-D Mixx to anyone; you won't be disappointed at all!

We hired ND mixx as recommended by Natalie from Aloha Bridal Connections. And now I recommend them to all my friends and family looking for a DJ. Fran and Gil were awesome to work with. They were very easy to communicate with via email and always responded in a timely manner. We didn't meet one another till day of the wedding but even through email they were friendly and kind and always wanted the best for you. We hired them for ceremony/reception services and emcee services. Fran, Gil and their team far exceeded expectation! The music throughout the evening was on point and they played every song we requested. My husband and I wanted to surprise our guests with a little dance number and we asked Gil if he could do a little remix for us and it came out just how we wanted, perfecto! Gil was great at being the emcee and kept the guests laughing and entertained. When the formal reception was done the night kept going strong and everyone was dancing the night away! The night couldn't of ended any better thanks to ND mixx! We are so thankful for their generosity and services. 5 stars across the board!

I LOVED having N-D Mixx at my wedding! I didn’t really have a choice for my DJ selection because my venue had a preferred vendor list and my planner basically told me who to choose. I was so worried that I wouldn’t have a say in the music and that it would end up being an awkward reception but it totally wasn’t! DJ Gil made it a point to reach out and meet us before the wedding so that he could hear about our likes and dislikes. I could tell right away that he knew what our style was within 10 minutes of meeting us. And on the wedding day they totally nailed it! It was such a relief! Everybody had a great time on the dance floor! They played exactly what we wanted, new music, rap/hip-hop/EDM/reggae/little bit of Spanish music for my family! Hehe it was so perfect! They were also great MC’s, it was totally natural and fun! It could not have been any better! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a great party!!

One of the most important elements of my wedding was the music and energy. N-D Mixx ensured everything went well and even with a few unforeseen hiccups, they were able to accommodate and keep things moving. One of my favorite moments of the night was when they played my favorite go-to karaoke song and had everyone on the dance floor having a blast. It's a moment that my family and friends are still talking about and will never forget. I wish I could have been able to communicate with them a bit more before my wedding, but as most of the communication went through my wedding planner, this wasn't necessarily the case. In any event, it was a magical day and night and N-D Mixx helped tie everything together.

It would be a mistake to NOT hire N-D Mixx for your wedding. They were so laid back while efficiently managing all of the details and requests. They made everything run smoothly and our guests had an amazing time! I could not have dreamed up a better reception, and N-D Mixx was at the center!

N-D Mixx provided the background music during reception, opening/entry music to reception events (first dance, parent/child dance, cake cutting, open dance floor, etc), and Emcee for the reception. They were great communicators throughout the early stages and met with us in person before the wedding to go over details. N-D Mixx staff were very professional throughout the process. They handled all details within timelines, including stalling when my wife had a wardrobe malfunction before our entry. We couldn't thank them enough for a memorable night and were impressed at how they handled requests from guests (including those more inebriated). Highly recommended! Kenny Jefferis

Gil was the DJ and MC at our wedding. Gil and Fran work perfectly together to provide an end to end seamless experience. They met with us initially via video conference, they corresponded conveniently through email to organize the details and met with us once again the week of the wedding to finalize the program for the ceremony and reception. The music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing after dinner was on point and we had many guests comment the DJ/MC played great music and was really funny and charming.

Our wedding planner referred us to N-D Mixx, what an awesome referral! We booked Gil for our Ceremony, Reception, and as our MC. From the get go Fran & Gil were amazing to work with! Super quick at responding to emails and phone calls and they both made the process smooth. We really liked the music questionnaire they had us fill out. It definitely made us think of what songs we wanted played at the wedding, something we kind of left on the back burner until a month before. We ended up having a huge list of songs we wanted played and quite a mix of genres. I also had a surprise hula for my husband, and Fran & Gil helped me keep it a surprise and keep the song a secret! Being a destination wedding, we were able to meet with Fran & Gil just a few days before the wedding to go over final music choices and the layout of the wedding. After that meeting we walked away knowing we made the right choice on choosing N-D Mixx not only as our DJ but as our MC. We felt like we had a connection with Fran & Gil which was awesome! On the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything! The ceremony music was perfect, Gil was a fabulous MC who kept the flow of the wedding on time, and the reception music was awesome! All of our pre-requested songs were played at one point throughout the night and the dance floor was never empty! Our flower girl literally didn't leave the dance floor the whole night, and there were people on the dance floor busting moves even though they never dance at weddings! One of my favourite parts of the wedding is during dinner when you played an old school Frank Sinatra song. I was sitting dancing and humming to the music, and took a moment to take it all in. That song mixed with our stunning venue, flowers and décor…I instantly felt like I was in a movie! Best moment of the whole night! Thank you for playing that song at the perfect time I will never forget it!

N-D Mixx!!! one of the best wedding investments we've ever had!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I'm super happy that i listened to the great reviews from their previous clients! and not only they provided great service for DJ and hosting... they also mix our first dance number which turmed out GREAT + finding me a karaoke song for my mom as part of our surprise for FREE + 2 x gobos for the dance floor and wall + uplights all over the room with a killer deal!! Fran and Gil have always been so super nice and patient with me all the way... I am very thankful that I found them. They have given me extra extra 100% quality with their workmanship and friendliness. Its very hard to find vendors that actually care and not just the money. I honestly think that they should have charged me more than what they offered because of all the extra details they provided. Our wedding turned out AMAZING and they are part of the reason. Fran and Gil with ND Mixx Productions were so great to work with. Finding the right DJ was one of the most important aspects of my wedding planning process. After talking to every DJ on the list, talking to Gil was like a sigh of relief....he was down to earth, flexible, and great to work with. I struggled to come up with song ideas for the ceremony and Fran and Gil listened to my ideas and came up with the perfect play list. They were so friendly and caring and in my opinion could charge a lot more for their services because they were great!

Fran and Gil did an awesome job at our wedding! Their rates are affordable and their service is fabulous. They played all of the songs we asked them to, at the times we asked them to (and none of the ones we told them not to). They did a great job of going with the "vibe" we had requested for different parts of the evening--everyone was dancing all through the night! Gil did a great job of moving the party along while keeping the focus on the bride and groom. Mahalo nui loa!

Gil and his team were AMAZING! They had every song I requested, and truly went the extra mile to make sure our special day was PERFECT! They even showed up for the rehearsal and threw in all the lights, bells and whistles. Thanks Gil!

Gil & Fran were wonderful to work with. From our first meeting to our last and then to our wedding day Gil & Fran was very helpful in making our Big Day wonderful and they made us feel very comfortable from beginning to end! We planned our wedding from the mainland and they made the planning process very easy by being very prompt when answering any questions that we had. They also helped us with our timeline by making it extremely easy and they offered alot of suggestions when we needed it especially because they had DJed at our venue many times. They played GREAT music for us that our dancefloor was never once empty!

Gil & Fran are a husband & wife team, he DJ/Emcee’s & she handles the office work side. They were both very sweet & prompt with replies to all our many questions. They did 2 set ups: 1-ceremony (minister & ukulele player plugged into his equipment), then 2- Reception under our tent for the program & dancing portion. He did a great job, played our whole list & our friends had a great time. He was able to accommodate us when we needed to change the order of the program as well. All in all we had a great experience.

Kept my reception jumpin'! The dance floor was full the whole night, except when the dj played Justin Bieber, everyone ran off the dance floor LOL. But other than that, the music was great. We all had a super fun time.

Working with Fran and Gil was a pleasure. They were professional and played all the songs I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone!
