Neal and Saskia Photography

Wow, what an amazing photographer Saskia is! Let me tell you a few reasons she is far above the average photographer in my opinion. First of all, my husband and I were living in Ellensburg when we hired her to do our engagement and wedding photos. She is based out of Bellevue. Not only did she drive all the way over the mountains to do our engagement photos at no charge, she even followed us out into the Roslyn wilderness to hike around to get our pictures in the woods where we wanted them. All of this, while in a leg cast! We tried to let her take it easy, but she insisted she was just fine! She hobbled up hills and over logs all to get us the best pictures and she had the best sense of humor and attitude about it! Then, on our wedding day (which was in Leavenworth so again she had to travel quite a ways), she was even more amazing. Her and her husband had to put up with some pretty obnoxious groomsmen and she just laughed and stayed patient. She was fun, positive, and simply wonderful. She was never in any way bossy or demanding, she listened to what we wanted and helped to get those pictures for us while smiling and having a good time. I highly recommend Saskia as a photographer as she truly went above and beyond our expectations. All of my guests raved about how kind and patient she was. Oh, and our pictures are absolutely stunning! She takes time to make sure they are perfect. She really is the total package.

Saskia was very professional. She arrived early to both our initial meeting and on our wedding day. She even came to our rehearsal to scout out the location and plan the shots for the next day, which was above and beyond what we expected from her. I met with several other photographers in the same price-range, and Saskia was far and away the most prepared and professional. It was easy to pick her to work with. Secondly, her pricing is great. I did a great deal of research on photographers in the Seattle area, and I would say she's the best value you'll find. Compared to others in her same class, as far as quality/artistry of the photographs goes, she's incredibly affordable. I feel like I got more than I paid for. Lastly, she's just hands down a great photographer. None of our pictures were cheesy or over-posed, which was very important to us. We've had overwhelming compliments on our photos from family and friends, and I'm just so happy to have drop dead gorgeous photos of our day to keep forever. She was also very pleasant to work with during the portrait sessions- both for the engagement pics and our day-of portraits before the wedding. She was polite, organized, comfortable directing, flexible, and always smiling. She was truly a pleasure to be with. My fiance is not a fan of having his picture taken, and even he enjoyed the process, which is seriously amazing. Highly recommend!!

I hired Saskia to photograph my wedding and she has done such an amazing job. She is very comfortable to be around and takes amazing photographs.

Saskia was great, She gave us a price for a full day of photography. She listened to our requests and even made suggestions to help us plan the day. She was great and compared to other photographers her price was reasonable.
