I'm trying not to cry writing this! Reading through some of the older reviews, it's clear how many lives Tirzah has touched, and we are no different. She is truly a gem, there is n...
o one else like her. My spouse is non-binary, and we're both queer and spiritual, so it was important for us to find someone who reflected our values and made us feel comfortable (we're straight-passing and from Texas, so that can get a little dicey in our neck of the woods)! We initially reached out via our wedding coordinator, and from there we immediately clicked with Tirzah after our intro call! We had so much fun in our ceremony creation sessions getting to know her, and getting to talk so deeply about our relationship. We felt that she truly knew and understood us at our core, and that itself is priceless.
Two days before our wedding, we had a severe falling out with some family members due to our queerness, among other things-- shaming our wedding, my spouse's upbringing and income, our life we've built together, and ultimately doubting the love we have had for each other over the past five years. It was so devastating and heartbreaking for us, to be told we were a mistake, as I'm sure many queer couples experience. I (wife) probably could have handled this better and protected my partner more had it happened at any other time in the past 5 years, but of course it never plays out that way. We were both so anxious for those 48 hours, we were truly afraid the day would be ruined, but as soon as Tirzah arrived to the venue that morning wearing her (incredibly slay) outfit in our wedding colors and her bright smile, all of that fear melted away entirely. I was so relieved, my spouse and I got ready separately so I can't speak for them, but somehow, knowing that Tirzah, (with her own life, family, etc to worry about) showed up for me in a way that my parents wouldn't... it's slapped some Gorilla glue on my little gay heart and gave me so much strength to get through the day. As soon as the custom ceremony she wrote for us began, we knew just how SEEN and considered we were, and the love this one human being had for us, basically two strangers, outshone any and all negativity and doubt that tried to weasel its way in. Our ceremony was PERFECT. It spoke to who we are as people, and who we are striving to become together. We were able to read our own vows, perform a handfasting, AND do a ring warming/exchange, and it all went so smoothly and effortlessly! Tirzah is a true professional and, I'm not even biased when I say this, it was the best ceremony I've ever seen. Tirzah is a force for love in all forms!!
We cannot recommend NearlyWed enough. This is a business created by a person who cares about you at the deepest level, and your journey as a couple, and it goes so much further beyond just signing a marriage license. If you're seeking someone to marry you and dive into your relationship in a meaningful way, please seek out their services!! Tirzah, we've said it a million times already, but we'll never forget what you've done for us and we're so thankful to call you a friend!!! Elliott and I love you dearly!
We seriously don’t have the right words to explain how amazing Tirzah is. My now wife and I met Tirzah at a LBGTQ Wedding expo. She was the first vendor we saw as we walked in. We ...
stopped to talk to her and felt an immediate connection.
From there we decided to do premarital coaching with Tirzah as well as have her officiate our wedding.
My wife and I had some huge breakthroughs with Tirzah in our pre marital coaching sessions. I really believe these sessions strengthened our relationship and helped us learn a lot about each other. We immediately felt comfortable talking with Tirzah and she has such a calm and caring demeanor.
After our pre marital sessions we started our ceremony creation sessions. Tirzah leaves no stone unterned when it comes to ceremony creation. She sent us a document with so many questions to answer about our relationship and different ceremony elements. It was so fun to go re live our relationship from the beginning and chat about it with Tirzah so she could create the perfect ceremony. She was so helpful in giving ideas for the ceremony and helped guide us to what was perfect for us.
The actual ceremony day and ceremony were beyond perfect. Tirzah arrived early and mingled with our guests before the ceremony. She worked seamlessly with our venue coordinators and made us feel so confident right before the ceremony started. My wife and I were both so nervous to stand in front all of our family and friends but Tirzah has the most calming presence about her, so standing in front of everyone with her we definitely felt a sense of ease.
The ceremony script was so beautifully written and came across more perfect than we ever could have imagined.
At the reception I had so many guest come up to me and tell me how impressed they were with Tirzah. They expressed that she felt so genuine, well spoken, it felt like she really knew us, and that she was just fantastic overall.
We seriously cannot reccomend Tirzah enough. You will not be sorry for choosing her to officiate your wedding.
I cannot speak highly enough about Tirzah, our officiant. Not only is she a great human being but she made our wedding ceremony "one of the best I've ever been to" according to ma...
ny guests.. Tirzah really gets to know you as a couple and individually. She is detail oriented and VERY communicative. Both my husband and I would honestly not have changed one thing. Our day was perfect and much of its success goes to NearlyWed Coaching. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!
Tirzah was amazing with our wedding. Our Ceremony was perfect that matched us and worked with our crazy schedule.
Nearly Wed Coaching is professional and makes the whole experience a fun one! We utilized the premarital coaching services and loved it so much that we are continuing even after a ...
year of marriage! Having someone who makes you feel validated and helps work through disagreements with that approach is a game changer!

ough questions to guide us through the ceremony creation process, that she met with us multiple times in person and over Zoom in the months leading up to the big day, and that she even spoke with both of our sisters to add extra special touches to the ceremony. We would absolutely recommend working with her!
Tirzah put together the perfect ceremony for our wedding. She spent so much time with us helping craft a truly unique ceremony that was specific to our love and all of our guests ...
commented on how much they loved the ceremony! She was a joy to work with leading up to the wedding and helped alleviate many of our worries regarding the ceremony and helped answer various other wedding questions we had along the way. If we went back and did it all again we would absolutely choose Tirzah as our officiant again!

Tirzah is truly a one of a kind rockstar when it comes to wedding counseling. When we began our search for a wedding counselor, we were feeling flustered with our wedding planning ...
process. As a queer couple it was incredibly important to us that we have a wedding that was representative of us as couple, this led to a unique and very personal approach that felt very stressful at times. When we met with Tirzah, she quickly assessed the situation with both empathy and compassion. We then decided to book 4 sessions to move forward with the process. Each session we were able to tackle emotionally activating conversations in an affirming and safe place to process and make decisions that felt aligned with our most authentic selves. Throughout these sessions, Tirzah went above and beyond in providing insightful questions, personal experiences and comforting reassurance. We truly felt like we came out of this journey stronger both as a couple and as intentional planners of our big day. We will forever be thankful for the meaningful lessons and conversations we had guided by Tirzah. We highly recommend Tirzah to anyone who is looking to deepen and broaden their wedding planning journey and relationship with each other.

y together beautifully and wrote a lovely ceremony, which Falon delivered so eloquently. We really, really liked the two of them. Falon got so many compliments second-hand from our guests. They told me about how good she did. We truly appreciate the time and effort put in to providing such a wonderful experience.
As a queer couple, we'd never had much experience with non-traditional weddings and didn't quite know where to even begin to plan a wedding that would suit us. Tirzha kindly held o...
ur hand through the whole process, from getting to know us to creating something we were comfortable and happy with. The day of the wedding they even won the heart of both our mothers! We really couldn't have picked a better person to help us tie the knot and we're sure no matter what service of Tirzha's you end up using, whether its counseling or officiating, that you'll be well taken care of. - Adrian and Lyle

w us as a couple, our story, and our image for our ceremony. She helped us create an intimate, beautiful, and tear-worthy ceremony that made my spouse and I really be present and intentional as we said our vows. She is absolutely amazing, a kind and comfortable person to share your story with . We also loved that she was apart of the LGBTQ herself, so she understood the struggles we were facing as a same-sex couple for our wedding. Tirzah was worth every penny for my wife and I. Highly recommend if you want a truly special ceremony. Thank you Tirzah!!!
Amazing officiant and premarital coach for any LGBTQ+ (or not!) couple
We used Tirzah's services for premarital coaching and officiating, and it was no question the BEST purchase...
we made for our wedding. She is so fun and wonderful to spend that kind of time with, but she also helped us gain additional insight into our relationship and calm down some pre-wedding jitters by providing a viewpoint into our relationship from a neutral third party. Our ceremony was absolutely magical as well--she really blew us away with the quality of her writing for the script and her general amount of preparation and thoughtfulness in the process. We will be loudly recommending Tirzah to absolutely anyone who needs her services for YEARS to come.

rstanding to our wedding process. She consistently ensured that we felt supported and that the ceremony would be uniquely our own. She empowered us to make decisions for ourselves, guided us when we needed wisdom, and supported us when we felt overwhelmed. We feel so incredibly grateful that Tirzah was our officiant and made our wedding something we will cherish forever. As a final note, we had SO many guests tell us ours was the best ceremony they had ever attended and we know that is in large part to Tirzah : )
Some key things that really stood out for us were the attention to detail, excellent communication, and support throughout the planning process. It was really such a special thing ...
to have Tirzah delve into what makes us tick as a couple and convey our love through a beautiful intimate ceremony. I think back on our wedding day so often and out of all of the vendors that we hired there is not a single one that met the standard that Tirzah set. We cried during every planning session because she brought up raw emotion in the questions that she asks to help us reflect on what it is about each other that made us want to get married. As a gay couple we knew we wanted someone that could truly appreciate the significance of our marriage and what it meant to us as a marginalized group who would not have been able to get married just a few years back. Tirzah went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with all of the wording of the ceremony and made sure it would convey a message of love acceptance, tolerance, and kindness. We also chose to include a handfasting ceremony as a symbol of our commitment to each other and the bond that we share. Tirzah made sure everything went smoothly and included us every step of the way while offering her own insight. Overall, it was exactly what we had envisioned, and I can’t imagine that special day being the same if it were not for her. Tirzah, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work or for the kindness and love that you spread. Once again, LOVE WINS!

e event as our officiant. We had family members compliment the ceremony and how joyous and open it felt. Thank you Tirzah!
Tirzah was very thorough. We met multiple times through zoom prior to our destination elopement. Each session broken down to her getting to know us, our story, and what we wanted. ...
By the time we met in person (the day before the elopement) it felt like we already knew her. The same went for the day of the ceremony, she cares about getting to actually know her clients and that is what made the day that much more special. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a personalized ceremony that’ll highlight all the key parts of your relationship.

d customize the entire ceremony to be exactly what we had hoped for. She took time to meet with us (via Zoom) and got to know us as a couple and our love story. Getting to actually meet her in person the day of our ceremony felt like we were seeing a long time friend. The ceremony itself was written beautifully and really captured who we are as a couple. She is incredibly thoughtful, funny and very down to earth. My husband and I had a blast getting to know her and truly cherished her being a part of our very intimate and small ceremony. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NearlyWed to anyone getting married in the area!!

get to know us as a couple and made us open up about what we love about each other in ways I don’t think either of us ever put into words before. Her bespoke ceremony really made us feel like we were being married not just by a professional but also by a very close friend. Through every session, she was able to help us craft the wording of the ceremony, for everything from the introduction to the pronouncement, exactly the way we wanted it. We didn’t even know the language we wanted until we started working with Tirzah. The day of, she even hiked a mile to our ceremony venue and we were taken aback by how many details she had in her script for us. She even mentioned our pets and the beloved, old car I drive! She made us so comfortable during the ceremony, even when we were emotional, she allowed us to take our time in gathering ourselves to continue. You can definitely feel the passion she has for her craft and we are forever thankful she took part in our special day!

But here’s the real deal….Tirzah is SO MUCH more than an awesome officiant. Her wedding coaching services and pre-marital counseling is where she really shines. We did both services. Her professional skills and organization combined with her highly empathetic nature were a breath of fresh air.
We were dealing with some wedding related family drama (who doesn’t?) and received excellent advice and guidance from Tirzah. She cuts through the bull with her sword of truth in a gentle yet effective way. My husband and I felt stronger and more connected than ever after every session. If you’re serious about starting your marriage off on the right foot, I HIGHLY recommend you get the pre-marital counseling and wedding coaching packages. earth attitude. She did an excellent job curating our ceremony by making it feel personal and authentic (pretty impressive after only a few virtual sessions).

’t say enough about her and her work style!
Tirzah's wedding coaching helped my wife and I to plan the authentic wedding of our dreams. As a couple, we had vastly different ideas of how we wanted our wedding to look. Finding...
a middle ground for this huge event in our lives, proved to be difficult. Tirzah was able to talk us through some of the hardest decisions for our wedding, and help both of us compromise and meet each other in the middle. She took the time to listen to us, and truly understand where both of us were coming from. She got to the core of each of us, and what our values and beliefs are as individuals, and how that influenced what we wanted in a wedding. She helped us take both of our ideas and turn them into a wedding that celebrated both of us as individuals and as a couple. Tirzah helped us strengthen the dynamics of our relationship during one of the most difficult decision making processes that we had gone through as a couple. As a multiracial queer couple who come from different cultures and backgrounds, it was important for us to find vendors who can understand our unique experience. Tirzah truly saw us, understood us, and celebrated us and our relationship. We loved working with Tirzah, and highly recommend her to every couple who is planning a wedding. She helped us and our relationship in every step of wedding planning, so that when we walked down the aisle we were more confident and strong as a couple than ever before.
NearlyWed Coaching was perhaps the most influential component in my fiancée and I landing on the exact type of wedding we truly wanted. This was made possible through Tirzah’s incr...
edible listening skills and emotional intelligence which allow her to get to the heart of what matters most to the couple.
Each session with her felt both therapeutic and innovative. She helps you navigate the daunting amount of tasks and details that go into planning a wedding, all the while keeping you on track by helping you make decisions that are aligned with your core values; this is what ultimately leads to the most meaningful wedding for the couple.
Simply put, my partner and I couldn’t recommend NearlyWed Coaching more to anyone who is embarking on the wedding planning journey!
