Erin created two beautiful and unique bouquets and a boutonnière for my elopement. Erin has a wonderful talent for creating organic, unique, and somewhat wild floral arrangements. Everything she makes is truly one of a kind and you can tell how much she cares about her work. She is also a great communicator and took the time to keep in touch via email and phone calls. My husband and I eloped at Lake Willoughby in Vermont in January during a sub-zero day. Erin took the time to explain to me the effect such weather could have on flowers and which flowers and greenery would hold up best in such extreme cold, while still keeping in mind the vision I had for my flowers. Despite the challenge of an arctic wedding, Erin created stunning pieces for my elopement.

I loved working with Erin. I picked Nectar & Root because I loved the styling of her floral designs. They are far from cliche. I told her different flowers that I like, including a special Japanese mum that I have tattooed on my back. Other than that, I let her take the creativity into her own hands. She did and absolutely GORGEOUS job with my bouquet. It was huge and so lush. On top of that, it included some beautiful mums. The boutonnières and corsages were so so pretty as well. They surpassed my expectations. Not only was her work fantastic, she was a great communicator and very sweet. I would highly recommend Nectar & Root to anyone!

Very friendly and super flexible! Did a spring check-in, which was helpful. I will admit we had to pay for the flowers a year in advance, which seemed unusual from what info I got from other florists. The flowers were also not ready to go when we needed to pick them up at 10am on the day of. Aside from that, she was very easy to work with and the flowers were beautiful and she put the flowers in neat vases that she let me keep! Would definitely still recommend, just make sure it’s clear between both parties, when the flowers will be ready to go on your wedding day.

Erin is so incredibly talented - you can expect that her work will be complete perfection! We had a pretty unique floral vision given we were doing an interfaith, Indian ceremony & events without a traditional bridal party, and whatever we wanted - Erin made happen! From a breath-taking, circular arbor she designed from scratch, to beautiful floral installations from the ceiling, to every detail with every vessel she chose -it was a sight to remember! My particular highlight was the floral crowns she made for our flower boy and girl :) - made them look so chic! Would not hesitate to work with Erin again!!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Nectar and Root. Erin did an absolutely perfect job on the flowers for our wedding - everything from bouquets to arbors to garlands and centerpieces. All of them were unique but connected and stunning. She listened to our ideas and looked at sample images and brought our concepts to life, bringing her expertise to the table. They were better than we could have ever imagined and cannot recommend her and Nectar and Root enough!

Oh my goodness - I highly recommend Nectar & Root!! Erin is pure joy to collaborate with, as her passion for flowers and weddings shine through from your first phone call with her! I LOVED her vibe, her vision and everything that she created for us on our wedding day. I am still dreaming of my bouquet- It was/is so stunning. My fiancee (now husband!!) and I found Erin through our venue, Topnotch Resort's, recommended vendor list. Funnily enough, without knowing, I knew about Erin when I saw her wedding photos from Shelburne Farms. I loved her wedding and thought that it was the exact style that we wanted for our wedding. Little did we know that she was not only a beautiful bride but also an amazing florist. We set up a skype meeting with Erin since we live out of state in NY, and had a lovely chat with her. She was so interested in our vision and making sure that she understood what we were looking for. A few days after our conversation, she sent over a quote for services and a beautiful PDF of our wedding style and what types of flowers she would be using. What I loved most about Erin's work, is that it was different from any other florists work I've ever seen. I'm a professional wedding photographer in the Saratoga area, so I've worked with many florists! Erin's work was just so creative and whimsical. She told us that she would base our flowers off of what was available the week of our wedding in the surrounding greenhouses and farms, which I loved. We wanted our wedding to reflect the beautiful setting of Vermont and Erin absolutely did that. She stayed in constant contact with us over our 1.5 years of planning and set regular skype and phone dates to make sure she kept up to date with what we needed. Being able to email her anytime and get a response right back was amazing! She does charge a 25% service fee, but she made sure to explain to us that fee was to cover all the communication time, organizing, planning, etc. Which I totally understand and appreciated that she took the time to explain it to us! On the wedding day when Erin arrived, I was so excited to see the flowers! My bouquet was STUNNING. She even let me choose from 15 different ribbons to put around the bridesmaids bouquets. I felt like a princess! She worked so hard that morning to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. The pedals down our aisle were beautiful and made me feel so special when I walked down the aisle to see my handsome groom. The garlands on our farm tables were so beautiful and fit well with our greenery theme. Candles were placed along the garlands and it was so romantic. I would highly recommend Erin to any couple getting married out there! She is kind, caring, professional, organized, and a true artist. Thank you Erin for making our day a dream come true! <3

Incredible. Working with Erin was easy, fun and exciting! She did the flowers for our entire wedding party, and delivered them the morning of our wedding....AND helped get everything set up perfectly. She went above and beyond. And the flowers? Unbelievably gorgeous. The most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. People are still complimenting me on the flowers and my bouquet especially was exquisite. If you are looking for the most unique, natural, beautifully organic arrangements for your wedding, look no further than Erin's work. She is a true artist and designer. Erin did an amazing job on my wedding flowers. Her flowers stand out from all the other florists. She was just what I was looking for. My bouquet was a beautiful cascading arrangement with more simple bridesmaid bouquets. I will definitely be recommending her!

To say Erin is talented doesn't even say enough. She is so amazing in all that she does from the moment you pick-up the phone to speak to her right through to the very end, she is incredible. I planned a wedding in VT living out of state and really hadn't even seen my venue in person before I found Erin. I had no idea what I wanted and she took the creative reigns and did not disappoint! Erin did my wedding flowers and I am so happy that she was referred to me. She is a true artist and she went above and beyond our expectations. From the very beginning of the process she was a true professional and we trusted her to help make our dreams a reality with very little direction from us - we let her use her creative genius. All the pieces she worked on and delivered on our wedding day were simple STUNNING. We received so many compliments how gorgeous brides and bridal bouquets were. Erin is a creative genius, totally brilliant, and I would recommend her very highly. Erin was amazing! I had been planning my wedding in VT from the west coast and having her to work with was fantastic. She understood exactly what I wanted for the bouquets and was able to put in some extra flair (since I am sure I did not give a ton of direction). We Loved working with Erin! What a truly authentic experience we had. Our wedding was in Vermont, but we worked with Erin from afar in New Mexico. She took what was inside our heads and turned it into a masterpiece. I'll never forget looking out at the reception area for the first time, and seeing all the tables, details, and all the happy emotions that it brought me. It brings tears to my eyes to recall it. Erin used all the details we talked about over the phone and incorporated them into our arbor, all the arrangements, my bouquet, and every single floral piece that our wedding party wore. I just LOVE Erin and EVERYTHING that she did for our August wedding. Living in Georgia and planning for a Vermont wedding is not ideal, but when you work with incredible vendors like Erin, it makes everything more enjoyable and put me and my family at ease. Erin took the time to talk on the phone, answer emails, collaborate on Pinterest and even meet me in person when I made some trips up to Vermont. She listened, took notes and really cared about me and the wedding. I guess I was most impressed with her execution! She brought my vision, wishes and ideas to life. The bridesmaids bouquets were so perfectly done and my bouquet exceeded all expectations. I honestly didn't really think I cared so much about wedding flowers until I saw what she did and how beautiful everything was. Our centerpieces, the arbor, the candles, every little detail was just perfect. Aside from her work and talent, I just loved working with Erin and getting to know her. I do not miss planning a wedding, but I do miss working with people like Erin :)

It's hard to explain how gorgeous everything was, but just look at her portfolio, it speaks volumes about her style, approach, and next level attention to detail. Erin and her team created simple and beautiful arrangements that we used at two of the events at our son's wedding in September. I don't live in VT, so all our consultations were over the phone or via email. Erin understood exactly what I wanted but created arrangements that were far better than my imagination had conjured up. I would not hesitate to use Nectar and Root over and over...maybe they should open a CT branch?

Erin and her team were a pleasure to work with. Erin is cool, calm, and so knowledgeable about how to make your vision a reality. I came in with some ideas and a price point in mind, and we were able to come up with the perfect combination of flowers and accents to really bring everything together. She was such a calming presence throughout the entire process. On the day of, Erin and her team set up everything seamlessly and the bouquets, centerpieces, and arbor were absolutely beautiful. We couldn't have been happier!

Erin was a complete dream to work with. I had a very specific vision in my mind and no idea how to put to words what I wanted. From our very first conversation Erin worked with me to understand what I was picturing, and to suggest ways to bring it to life. Erin was incredibly communicative, making me a Pinterest board of her ideas and explaining to me how she envisioned various components coming together, accepting feedback graciously, and revising her suggestions promptly to ensure that we were on the same page. Erin's pre-event organization and attention to detail are only surpassed by the final product she brings to the table. On the day of the wedding, Erin was on time and extremely professional. She worked seamlessly with our venue coordinator to set everything up and took so much stress out of our day. Everything Erin created was breathtaking. The bouquets were whimsical and romantic. The Arbour was stunning. The table runner garlands at our reception were so elegant. I would recommend Erin to anyone looking for unique, gorgeous florals for their wedding.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Erin and her work. I found Nectar & Root online, as I am not from Vermont (I live in Boston) and when I saw her beautiful / unique work I knew I needed to book with her. I was concerned because I did not have a very big budget but Erin worked with me to make sure we met my budget and that I had beautiful arrangements .I do not know how she was able to do what she did by barely knowing me, but my flowers looked like me. Everyone who saw them said the same thing "Sophia this is so you!" My flower crown, made me melt. It was absolutely perfect for my color scheme, my dress, everything about it was lovely ! I had not seen my arbor before the wedding and walking down the isle towards it ; it literally took my breath away !( and seeing my husband too of course haha) It was us to a T, the hops were abundant on the arbor as requested (we are craft beer lovers) the colors , the ivy , it was so romantic and whimsical. My family even asked if it could be moved into the reception room so that they could admire it and take pictures in front of it. When I say Erin has an eye for this, I'm not JUST speaking about the flowers, I'm speaking about her skill of identifying who the and bride/groom are and making their personality come alive through the centerpieces, and flowers. I feel as though her work was the glue that pulled my bohemian inspired wedding together. Her flower choices are unique and I trusted her entirely from day one after first speaking with her. I didn't know much about the process or flower names and Erin made sure to send me examples of flowers and color schemes . She was patient throughout the entire process with explaining different options and even with last minute changes (we needed an extra boutonnière and bouquet) and changed our mind from wanting gold vases to glass. When Erin arrived the day of my wedding, she took care of everything professionally and she even told us to go to breakfast as she stayed in the wedding suite to bring up our flowers / bouquets and make sure everything was perfect. She even left a lovely note and clippers in case I needed to make adjustments to my crown. (so thoughtful! ) I did not have to worry about a thing working with her , she was a delight!!! I cannot say it enough ; if you are looking for someone with a unique eye , someone professional and an absolute sweetheart you cannot go wrong booking with her. I could not have been more pleased with my experience working with Erin and with the end result - every arrangement was BEAUTIFUL. We had an intimate, 25 person wedding in a backyard in Stowe in August. I reached out to Erin pretty late in the game but she jumped right in and was so easy to work with. I gave her very little direction, just pointed her to a few examples on her website/Pinterest and the flowers (crowns, bouquets, boutonnieres, dog collars, center pieces, etc.) were all so unique and beautiful. Because we had such a small outdoor wedding, we didn't have much decor and flowers were a budget priority. Each arrangement was clearly designed with care in a variety of vessels, some large and some small but all beautiful. The flowers brought the whole wedding to life and made a simple setting look special. Erin delivered all the flowers day of and was so sweet and calming while we were crazed prepping for the wedding. When I look back at the photos, I am so grateful that I found Nectar & Root and trusted Erin's style and creativity.

I admired her work online and wanted to work with her, but due to overall lack of professionalism and inability to provide any service as promised, I was forced to cancel my contract and go to another vendor. Shortly after receiving my deposit, she became completely unresponsive - not following up on emails in any timely manner, or phone calls. It proved to be impossible to even set up a face-to-face meeting with her as she would not respond, and then change details last minute. She even acknowledged her own unprofessionalism in an email to me , stating, "“I feel my behavior has been unprofessional in that I haven’t been able to follow through with you…” If you choose to work with her after reading this, good luck! Although it looks like she does nice work, the headache wasn't worth it to me.

Erin and her team at Nectar & Root did the flowers for our June wedding at Skinner Barn, and we could not have been happier with our choice. Initially we had considered doing flowers on our own with the help of our families as a way to try and save some money. But realizing just how much work that could be, I was lucky to be connected to Erin, who helped us through the whole process and stuck to our budget. We didn’t have a very clear vision for what we wanted in terms of flowers, except for our colors and knowing that we wanted to keep things simple and let the natural beauty of the Barn take center stage. Erin and I had a few phone calls, shared Pinterest boards of ideas, and then she took it from there, checking in with me all the while and updating our plan with any changes we requested. The result was a stunning bouquet for me, gorgeous centerpieces of bud vases, and a few buckets of bulk flowers that we used to get creative ourselves and decorate some additional spaces. Nectar & Root was the perfect choice for our wedding, and we can’t recommend Erin and her team enough!

Erin was so much fun to work with and created magical florals for our day. In particular, the garland she created for our ceremony was beyond stunning.
