I LOVED NINA! I booked Nina initially due to her experience working with Asian clients and affordability. During my hair and make up trial, we instantly clicked. She could read my expression and body language and knew right away that I wasn’t feeling the first hair style so she offered to do a different style, which I ended up loving & she did an even better job on my wedding day! I got to know Nina during my wedding planning era and learned that she also has over a decade of experience in this industry so I knew I was in good hands. On my wedding day, she also did hair and make up for my mom, flower girl, and a few other bridesmaids. She had an assistant with her who did an excellent job as well & we were all dolled up on time before photos. Nina is super personable and makes her clients feel comfortable and beautiful! Her communication is great and her vibes are just the best. HIGHLY recommend Nina, you will not regret it.

Hands down, one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! Nina did a fabulous job with my hair and makeup, as well as my moms. She took her time making sure every strand of hair was curled perfectly, and every single detail on my makeup was flawless. I didn't have to do any touch-ups the whole entire day, from 10 AM to 11 PM. She also knew exactly how to do makeup and hair on my Asian features. From the trial to the wedding day, Nina was very professional, punctual, and friendly. She sent me reminder texts the day before she was coming which gave me so much peace of mind! She also made all the necessary adjustments to my hair and makeup after the trial. I would definitely recommend Nina to anyone getting married!

Neena did hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. She was so warm, friendly and professional . Neena and Trang were attentive and assuage my daughters' nerves . Neena's response times were timely and accommodating. She was an absolute JOY to work with . This is in direct contrast to another hair and makeup stylist vendor we hired who were unfriendly, and not accommodating.

I am SO glad I found Nina! She was so integral in helping me look and feel my best on my wedding day. I specifically wanted to find someone who was an expert in their craft (because I am not) and would understand my facial features and help highlight them. I initially was only going to have my own hair and makeup done, but after the bridal trial my family loved my makeup so much we ended up having her do my mom and sister's hair and makeup as well. All in all, Nina was amazing to work with. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my own skin. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

You need to get Neena as your makeup artist! She is not only passionate about her work, but she is also really great at listening to her brides. On my wedding day she did makeup and hair for my bridesmaids, my mom, and me. She mapped out the day of timing so that it was not rushed, and everyone had a wonderful time. The makeup and hair was flawless. Even after crying and dancing everything stayed in place. Neena is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend her!!

Neena was the BEST. I am not used to wearing makeup, to this day I do not wear it often but I figured , since it was truly for a special day, I would find a HMUA. I am so happy I stumbled on Neena's page here. When I met her for the hair and makeup trial, I remember laughing and smiling a lot 10 min in. She is warm, funny and patient with how you want to look for your day. I came to her with a vague idea of my hair, and she guided me through different hairstyles, adjusting if I told her I want to see it another way and, when I asked for a subtle look for my makeup, I was wow-ed how beautiful I felt. I even sent her a reaction video of my husband seeing me come home with it :) I think what makes Neena so special is that while her work is amazing, I was really comforted by her how friendly and fun she was to work with. On the day of the wedding, I even for got to pack my veil! I remember feeling panicked but being in that room with Neena, I was laughing, smiling and feeling calm. I got my veil back in time and I looked and felt my most beautiful that day. She is punctual, passionate and comforting to be around. I highly recommend her!

Neena is the epitome of makeup artistry! She did a fantastic job making me and my bridal party look beautiful. Her background and experience is phenomenal. I am so so so glad I picked Nina to do our makeup for my wedding. The makeup turned out absolutely beautiful (my maid of honor asked if she could hire Nina to come everywhere and do her makeup every day), it photographed perfectly and it lasted! She was also really great about helping me stay on budget and not spend money I didn't need to. I initially assumed I'd need hair extensions to have enough hair to work with, but she told me instead exactly how to have my hair cut to give it more volume, plus she had some little bun-holder things to help give volume. She also referred me to someone for a haircut that would work and it was the best haircut I've had in years - I am definitely going back. Not only all of those things, but Nina was so fun to hang out with. I was initially so nervous about getting my makeup done and being awkward, but Nina instantly put me at ease. It felt like talking to an old friend who is genuinely personally excited for you - which is exactly the energy you want on your wedding day. 5 stars isn't enough, but it's all The Knot will let me do.

Nina did amazing with my makeup! I had my Vietnamese tea ceremony and wedding banquet and my makeup lasted all day! She came early and started early, and she was so much fun to chat with. I had to wear a headpiece with my traditional outfit and my hair kept the headpiece in place so securely. Would love to work with Nina again!

Do you want to look stunning on your wedding day? Hire Nina. She did my bridal hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids' hair and makeup and did a stunning job. She respects your wishes (I wanted something subtle and elegant) and makes sure you like the final look. She picks the perfect hues for your skin and hair color right off the bat, which has always been tricky for me personally to do (pale girl with dark hair here!) She is also super personable and easy to get along with, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Despite the fact that I'm in Olympia now, if I ever need professional makeup done, I'm going back to her! Nina was such a pleasure to work with! She did a great job incorporating my feedback from the bridal trial to the actual big day. Her technique and quality of products use were great. She is also super fun to talk to during the session, which is so important on a stressful day! She also did the hair and make up for the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. From the very beginning Nina was friendly, respectful, and always professional in communication. I completed a trial for hair and makeup with her and I immediately knew she would make sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. Her personality is fun and light, which really made the morning of looser and less stressful! She really listened to what I wanted and executed it beautifully. She was timely on the wedding day and stayed in communication the days leading up to it, which eased stresses, knowing she would be there. We had an elopement in the mountains, where there was hiking and sweating, and even at the end of the day, my makeup still looked amazing! First, she has a warm personality and is a great communicator; Second, she takes what you want and uses her creativity and skills to create a beautiful look. As mom of the groom, I was concerned about my makeup and hair lasting for 8 hours for an outdoor July wedding -- Neena did it -- my makeup & hair lasted! In addition, I appreciated how she applied my makeup that was flattering for pictures. I felt confident all day. Neena is the best! I highly recommend her!

Nina is the absolute best! Booking with her included easy, clear, and friendly communication. I booked a trial session with her about month out from my wedding to really nail down the look I was aiming for and Nina delivered not only the vision but a great time just chatting and hanging out! The day of the wedding, Nina was there on time and ready to get to work. What I love about her work is that it wasn't heavy or caked on. The products and technique she uses give strong pay-off with a light touch and really helped me feel at ease that I looked and felt amazing and still felt like ME. I never worried about the look smudging or fading away in the 10+ hours I had it on. In addition to her makeup skills, she's got a great personality and is so easy to talk to and will hype you up like she's known you for years. :) I would highly recommend Nina for any occasion that gives an opportunity to get glammed up!

I found Nina through word of mouth referral from a bridal shop. She responded to my inquiry immediately. I decided to do a bridal trial with her in May and OMG, I'm so glad I did. I went into this not knowing what I want and I'm glad I listened to her suggestions. I felt beautiful that my now husband even asked me for her number so he can personally thank her for making feel beautiful and to let her know what a great job she did. My husband and I even went on a date night because I felt like I had to! I look too good not to...haha. I originally hired her for myself. I convinced my mom and my MIL to get their hair and make up done as well. On wedding day, she was on time and worked on me immediately. She made me look beautiful on my day. I had a lot of compliment from our guest and even random people! Not only is Nina a great MAU, she also have a welcoming personality. I felt comfortable around her and had good/funny conversations with her. I feel this is important because you need to feel relaxed on your day and not have to feel like you're forced to entertain. I don't feel like that with Nina. I felt like I'm just with one of my GFs..just chilled/relaxed. I will definitely hire her again and recommend her to my friends.

I'm not the easiest person to do makeup and hair for, and Nina did a great job! We did a trial, which I'd definitely recommend. After the trial I gave Nina some feedback on what I loved and what I wanted to tweak and she was totally receptive to my requests. I was totally in love with my wedding day glam!

Nina is wonderful! She and her assistant came up to do hair and makeup for me me, my sister in law, and my mom. We are not usually ladies that wear makeup, but she effortlessly made us into the prettiest versions of ourselves without it looking like we had a lot of makeup on. Nina and her assistant arrived right on time in early morning and was quick setting up the space where my mom and bridesmaids were going to be getting their makeup/hair done. Nina is very sweet and friendly; her work was perfect and can last for a whole day. Her assistant is also very nice, she listened to what my mom wants with her hair and helped her fix it for couple times. Although Nina did not do my makeup/hair, I am very happy and satisfied with her services for my mom and the beautiful girls. I would recommend Nina and her team for wedding day or even party event hair and makeup!

Nina is one of the greatest makeup artists and overall person I have ever met. I contacted her a few short weeks prior to my wedding and with no trial, she did such a wonderful and beautiful job with my makeup.
