Nemus Photography - Nichole Lockman

ons ahead of time, and then managed us and our guests throughout the day so that we got the shots we wanted without distracting us from the celebration. Best of all, she put us at ease and made us laugh. Without a doubt we will use Nicky again for other photography.

os and was a pleasure to work with leading up to our wedding. She is creative, energetic, great with kids and adventurous is all the right ways to get simply beautiful photos.

e captured all of the special moments throughout our wedding night and she made it so fun! One of the very special qualities that we believe separates her from other photographers is her creativity. She is a visionary and is very creative with capturing candid moments with what is presented to her. She is also incredibly personable, thoughtful in how to best capture moments, reliable, honest and professional in every way. We would not recommend any other photographer than Nicky and if she is available, do not hesitate to book her because for a once in a lifetime event, you want a once in a lifetime talent!

g is a momentous and sacred occasion ...glad she was there to capture it so well for us! Cheers to Nicky!

ould recommend her for any event with out hesitation!

family, bridal party, and guests to get shots I didn't think were possible. The photo previews we've seen so far have quite literally wow'd us. She went far beyond basic professionalism and exceeded our expectations in all ways, and we feel incredibly lucky to have worked with her. Thank you Nicky!

ur emotions that day. The pictures were exactly what we had wanted

ight, but also timeless, well-composed, and works of art. We also like that she focused on photojournalistic/candid pictures (there were lots of us laughing or smiling that we didn't even realize were being taken) but also helped us with getting into natural-looking poses as well as captured all the formal wedding party and family portraits we wanted during the wedding. Nicky also had a great eye for picking beautiful scenery as a backdrop for our portraits. Both our engagement and wedding photos came out beautifully and felt personal and true to us while also highlighting all the amazing scenery in Tahoe. From the planning perspective, Nicky was SO responsive to emails and questions and was very clear and communicative. As a person, she is super friendly and funny, which made us feel comfortable and helped us open up and relax during the photo sessions. At the same time she is also very organized and focused and helped us stick to our timeline during the wedding so that we didn't miss any important photo opportunities like golden hour/sunset. Price-wise, her rates are totally reasonable and competitive for the area, and ultimately it was 100% worth it for all the hundreds of beautiful photographs we received as well as how fun and stress-free it was during the engagement session and wedding! Thank you Nemus Photography!

us, get to know us before the wedding, and answered all our questions. The day of, she showed up on time, full of energy, and immediately put everyone at ease. Nicky has a way of making everyone feel beautiful and comfortable, and that’s how she captured the best pictures. She’s got a great eye and was super creative. She had no problem rolling on the ground just to get the best angle. Everyone at our wedding commented on how wonderful she was. After the wedding, my husband and I were so excited to see the pictures. Within 4 days of the wedding, Nicky sent us preview photos. We were awestruck at how beautiful they came out, and all the photos that came, very soon after, were just as spectacular. Nicky took beautiful photos of everyone, and the way she captured our stunning venue made it look like something out of a storybook. Like most, our wedding day was a whirlwind, but it was magical, and we are so lucky Nicky captured memories that we will cherish forever. Nicky is the photographer you always dreamed of, and she really was a dream come true.

She had so many good ideas and was super receptive to all of our crazy ideas too! She went out of her way to make sure that the pictures weren't just good, they were the ones we wanted to have forever! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

ills are top-notch and we could not be more pleased with the photos she shot of us at our wedding. My husband is not a fan of taking photos, and she totally kept him relaxed the whole time. We have so many beautiful photos during sunset, with the moonlight, outside, inside, etc. from our special day thanks to Nicky! I highly, highly recommend this gal. Oh, and an added bonus - she's totally reasonable with her pricing. Thank you Nicky!!!!! If we could give you 6 stars we would!

that my husband and I spent the day with. She is professional, fun, caring, attentive, and produces a great product! When looking for a photographer my husband and I were looking for somebody who was worth our money, and Nicky really did come through! Every penny was worth it! I would pick Nemus Photography all over again, and I recommend her to anyone in the area!

o find shaded areas at the last minute. She made my family and I feel comfortable throughout the day and listened to all our needs. The pictures were so beautifully developed--Nicky is super talented and really catches the moment in each situation. We would highly recommend her!

ion to do post-wedding photos. I loved putting my dress back on and taking photographs outside with my husband. The photos from our post wedding shoot are so special and amazing. Nicky suggested the perfect spot in Lake Tahoe that offered several different backdrops for the shoot. I would highly recommend Nicky to other brides.

nd produced amazing photos!

e really is such a joy to be around. My now husband and I had our engagement shoot in February, we had an idea of what we wanted our pictures to be in the forest, she sent us the location and when we got there we were stunned with its beauty. We will treasure those pictures forever. We got married in May and once again she was amazing. She has a way about her that makes you feel instantly comfortable she does minimum posing so we just got to be ourselves. She is also amazing on the ego because she was constantly reminding me how beautiful I am and always made sure to make me laugh to get a real smile instead of a forced one from smiling all day! She has so many locations in mind that always matches your vision. She really listens to your wants and makes your top priority shots her top priority. We received our sneak peak within a few hours of our wedding(I was expecting maybe one or two and she sent so many pictures, so awesome!!) We cannot wait to work with Nicky in the future! Thank you for everything you do.

our photos. Nicky was able to capture both the beauty of our venue and everyone we love without getting in the way or interrupting the flow of the day- many of our guests commented that they didn't even notice her at the event. I'm so glad we trusted her judgment as well because every location she suggested at our venue to take a picture in, or every pose she would have us get into ended up producing some of our favorite most original photos. One of our groomsmen summed the experience up aptly, albeit simply when he said- "She put up with us- and we were being pretty dumb- and she got cool pictures." We would definitely recommend Nemus Photography to another couple without question.

or our engagement shoot and wedding. Our pictures were sent to us ridiculously quickly with the rights to all of them, which is so unusual and so important for wedding photos! We loved her and can't wait to use her unique and fabulous photography skills for other life events!

candid and relaxed moments on film for us to have forever. She was so great to work with and fun too!

nd understood our vision and brought it to life during our shoot. She has a great style that is creative and yet very professional. We will 100% use her again, and have already recommended her to friends!

ur formals and kept everyone smiling and laughing. Originally we were to take pics on the beach, which didn't end up happening, and she was very flexible about adjusting the plan. She was very unintrusive throughout the evening - I flat out forgot about pictures entirely for a while - but still captured everything. Highly, highly recommended!

that was able to capture the candid shots that were important to us and Nicky MORE than delivered. We were blown away by her professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. I would hands down refer to any and all people looking for an outstanding wedding photographer. Nicky -- You made our day more perfect than we could have hoped for. Cheers and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

my wedding my mother passed away and Nicky not only reached out and paid her respects, she also went out of her way to send me a beautiful personalized flower arrangement. Talk about class! The day of the wedding she was nothing but professional and captured moments that we will treasure forever. She can see angles and sun light that you wouldn't ever think of to use that translate beautifully into pictures. I will recommend Nicky over and over and can't thank her enough for all she did for us!

ry candid approach and a great eye. VERY reasonable price. Perfect for outdoor weddings! Only one negative was receiving the digital copies late.
